The beauty of the property and its location. The staff was excellent. Everyone was friendly and courteous. The pools were well kept. The beach was beautiful. We never lacked for anything. We would like to thank them and let you know that the gentleman that took our luggage to our room and the gentleman who did our dinner reservations and signed us up for the Trolley Excursion were both both very awesome and helpful!

I felt our room could have been cleaner, and there was a musty smell. there was a leak above the toilet that dripped directly on my husband’s head. The property also is a little bit rundown and could use some improvements.

Excellent stay. Check in was much improved from other stays. It was very fast and efficient. The beach was beautiful and one of the best on Cozumel. The buffet is a bit limited but you can order ceviche, bbq ribs, fajitas, fish tacos, and other items off the menu. Waiter service is superb! The activity staff set up a net and we played some beach volleyball, thanks for that!

We would appreciate a few more activities from the activity staff. There is no longer water volleyball in the pool which was a very fun activity and allowed us to break the ice and meet other guests.

The beach is nice and easy for snorkeling because there are no big waves. There is a good amount of beach seating with umbrellas. The pools are nice and there are many workers keeping everything clean. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The food was alright. They only have one main restaurant for all meals. The variety was okay, but not many choices at all for vegetarians or vegans. You can make a reservation at the "fancier" restaurant starting at 8am each morning. There were more choices there. The "alcoholic" beverages were WAY too sweet - in fact, it tasted like they had used a sugar replacer (like stevia). If there was any alcohol in them, I certainly couldn't taste it. I finally just ordered wine or beer because the taste of those drinks was as expected. The other thing to be aware of - the price that is quoted on booking.com is not what you actually pay. They added several fees and tax which added almost $140 to the bill for three nights.

super friendly stuff, everything is clean, plenty of vegetarian food choices, the ocean view from our room was fantastic. The beach was kept super clean and was the prettiest one on that strip. Great snorkeling. Food: They no longer have a buffet, everything is a la carte. Even though they give you 3 different menus for breakfast , lunch and dinner, I suggest you take a picture of them, as you can order anything that's on all of those 3 menus any time of the day. We're vegan/vegetarian, so had to mix and match a lot. Don't miss the morning fruit smoothies from the bar.

there was a big tropical cockroach 2 nights in a row in the bathroom. We resolved that problem by keeping the lights on in the bathroom. The rooms are slightly dated, but super clean. The 'dated' part didn't bother us at all. I assume that's what keeps the room price lower. We walked through the neighboring hotels, and ours had the prettiest beach and most attractive territory.

Very nice and clean beach, friendly and helpful staff, a lot of different pools on the property. Restaurant was good and it as easy to make a dinner reservation. There were always some activities going on for kids and adults. Overall hotel is quite well maintained and staff works diligently to keep it in good shape.

Food was good, but day to day variety deserves to be better. Initially, there were issues with A/C not working in the room, but were resolved quickly after informing the front desk.

Nice experience based on pricing

Fine dining food in dining room was perfect plating, service was great, food was not very hot all 4 of us sent back to heat up 3 times out of 7. Having to wait in line to make reservation for dinner is pain had to be in line by 7am to get reservations which didn't open till 8am. Check in very slow for having reservations. Nice place but a little outdated sure covid has taken a toll, entertainment was lacking from previous trips. And to all who read this post you need to tip these folks for every meal, every drink, or anything you ask them to do. They make $8.00/day as a wage, what you would spend spend for a couple of beers. Take care of them please

Breakfast ,lunch n dinner gave us a Tex Mex flavour with quite a Mekiko cuisine variety! T' was good as anytime you could get a bite! Cocktails n mocktails were refreshings! Staff were efficient and friendly and good guest sense of service! The only downside was the beach which was unkempt!

The beach needs sprucing and with maintenance this could attract more guests!

There was two staff members that weren't nice at all, the guy in the pool towels with tattoed face yelled at me and the old man at the varanda restaurant who greets guests was very unfriendly and rude, there they assigned us a table with out a fan or AC and was a hot day, we left. The bed wasn't very soft but not very stiff

I liked that all of the reviews I had combed thru, weren't issues at all. Have been to El Coz now for 20 years, but hadn't been back in 5. I kept thinking "Oh my!" But Love the place so much I had to go see for myself. So glad I did. She looks good...she felt good and it was really good to be back! Fave place in Coz!!

Executive staff wasn't as friendly as I remember the old crew to be. The Service staff are all great guys!
