pool, peaceful garden setting, friendly, accommodating staff (limited English), nice breakfast, Alexa and smart tv in room, bed and linens very nice

at check-in, staffer tried to charge us an excessive fee for use of a charge card (not in our Booking.com quoted price); misleading description and photo of "kitchenette" in room (nothing but fridge, coffee maker, and a couple of coffee mugs); dogs barking across the street most nights (in our suite, facing the 45th Street); bathtub/shower needs repair and safety update

This is an outstanding place to stay. We stayed in the 2 double beds room and it was truly enormous, the images on here do not do it justice. The room comes with all the mod cons including air con, tv, wifi, 24 hr hot shower, coffee making equipment (but not tea making, strangely enough), fridge etc. The rooms are sparkingly clean and are cleaned and restocked daily with towels, soaps, lotions etc. Bed linen is also changed daily. The two large double beds (queens, i think, but maybe kings) are very comfy Most importantly, the villa is quiet and there is no noise or loud music to disturb you, which is a huge plus in Cozumel. There is a table and chairs in the room to sit down for food and a leather seat for sitting. All of which fit in easily in the cavernous room. The room had a great view from the balcony onto the lovely pool area, which has loungers and seating surrounding it in a gorgeous garden. The service was excellent and prompt in evey way possible. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They took us to Punta Sur Beach (best in Cozumel by a mile) for a fraction of what we were quoted outside on the strip and from phoning a good few operators. They also gave us a free run to the ferry terminal when we were leaving. Excellent place to stay, i highly recommend it.

Would have liked tea making facilities in the room, like a kettle, but that's seriously nit picking. The property is excellent.

We stayed in the Deluxe Room - Queen Bed Room: The space was huge, very well furnished, basically a mini flat with a luxurious touch. Hotel: Very Clean, with great common areas and pleasant swimming pool. Location: quiet, the surroundings are a bit rough around the edges, shops are not that close but it was great for us as we had a car. You would depend on taxis if you do not have your own transport.

Bathroom - big and functional, however the finishing was definitely not in keep with the standards of the rest of the room. Water tends to spill out of the shower profusely. Staff at the door - mixed standards. We can't say we did not like this aspect: some of the staff were incredibly helpful and understanding (10/10). However some others were very slow to help and did really struggle with the language or communicating (4/10)

For those don't want to be in the middle of tourist traps this was absolutely wonderful. Quiet and peaceful area. The establishment and its grounds are beautiful and well maintained. As an all female traveler group we felt safe and secure with a 24 hr security guard and gated location. The area was clean and inviting. The rooms are large and spacious. Can't say enough great things about ALL the staff they were so helpful in translating and meeting our needs swiftly. They showed great hospitality especially Hugo. Hugo was awesome to communicate with and gain insight from to accommodate our needs. The breakfast was wonderful and the cooks were great. As we spoke little Spanish they were patient and took their time to understand what we wanted and how we wanted it cooked. If it came out wrong no problem they wanted to make it right. They introduced us to some new ways to eat some of our favorite foods. We rented transportation and lived as much l as possible like the locals Due to an injury we were given suggestions that would accommodate us since we couldn't enjoy water sports as previously planned. Restaurants were nearby and we rode or walked. Taxis are also available nearby at the corner.

Very charming. The name speaks for itself: felt like we were staying at a large, well-appointed house. Away from the tourist bustle, which was nice. Very nice staff, helpful, but not too intrusive. The room was bigger than we expected. High, vaulted ceilings, which was very nice. Smelled and looked clean. Plenty of storage.

The beds weren't very comfortable. Strange, persistent noise at night, like a door slamming shut or something like that. We were charged an additional fee for using the credit card to pay for the stay, which wasn't expected. Breakfast was just ok, but it was free, so...

We had a fantastic stay at Villa Segovia. The room was really spacious, had very comfortable beds and was very clean. The property has a nice garden and swimmig pool which is of a very good size. My children and us loved all the parrots and birds around. The breakfast was delicious. Hugo, the receptionist gave us some excellent advice regarding local beaches and was always ready to answer questions. Security is also very good. We had a great time and would come back any time.

Patricia kept our room so clean and lovely. Maria and Victoria made delicious breakfasts for us. Nemo, a perfect gentleman and so kind. Valerie right from the get go kept our booking and me organized. The grounds are beautiful. The pool is well kept.

There was really nothing that we didn’t like.

Location so close to main road, plaza and down town. Staff more than exceptional not to mention the house is amazingly beautiful, even that we do not use the pool or jacuzzi the views of them plus the patio itself during the morning or night were breathtaking. The christmas decoration a plus, rooms so beautiful and supplied with more than what you need. My family of 7 stayed in 2 rooms the rabbits nd the flowers rooms they we big, well illuminated. This is a must stay. We travel from USA to Cozumel and we definitely would stay more if we could. The sounds of the birds in the morning amazing. Don't hesitate to stay in this villa.

Everything was good. Maybe just when they have full house have another kitchen person to help cooking the breakfast but it is just a suggestion, our breakfast were delicious. Gladly nothing bad to add.

The staff were exceptionally helpful. We had issues with our shower and they moved us to the other property right away. Deysi made us a beautiful breakfast every morning, she really added a special touch to our stay there.
