Very spacious and comfortable room. The hacienda grounds are well kept and the staff very friendly. A short walk to the center of town. It is on top of a fairly steep hill, so this might be a consideration for those that have any limitations that would make a short hike difficult. The spa tub was a welcome touch. The hacienda is located on a hill just above a very Mexican neighborhood which can be quite noisy on the weekends or holidays. We were there over Christmas and there was a constant neighborhood party with loud music. This was okay for me, I enjoy the Mexican culture and there's a great little homestyle restaurant right in the middle of it. But if you are sensitive to noise, this might be a consideration.

The room wasn't as clean as I would like it to have been, but nothing I felt a need to complain about.

We expected to get breakfast on site but had to go into town. The breakfast was good, however, and we enjoyed our daily trek. The pool was a disappointment as we couldn't use it for three of the days.

The filtration system for the pool wasn't used it seems. The pool developed a scum on it's surface and the bottom was slick with algae. Chemicals were used to clean it but took so long we couldn't use it in the end.

The property is delightful with all the flowers and fountain and colonial architecture. The rooms are incredibly comfortable and gorgeous, and we loved the little restaurant where breakfast was served!

Only issue we had was the internet connection being a little unstable, but that wasn't a problem for us as we didn't use it much

Ok, so I gave every category a 10. I don't care, we really liked this place. Our room wasn't just a room we had the whole house! It was huge with a kitchen, dining and living room. Only one bed which was perfect for us. The patio off our casa was relaxing and right next to the pool. The internet was speedy which helped me get caught up on a little work. I would stay there again in an instant. Our host was super friendly and helpful. The only downside is that it is up a steep hill and was a little tricky to find. My GPS was very confused on the steep back roads. We did like the location and it was a close walk down the (steep) hill to el centro with plenty of restaurants. Highly recommended.

A little hard to find? The steep walk into town didn't bother us but might be an issue for some.

Place is beautiful, owners and person in charge Kika they all were great. It’s a beautiful and well care place. Breakfast was delicious and save us a good amount of money.

Water was cold in the shower. The toilet didn’t flush well. And there’s a hill to get there that is just a little uncomfortable but beside that everything else was great¡

Excellent room for these days that we were there

Breakfast was awful at Mexicanadas. Service was bad as was the food. Maybe someplace closer. Bathrooms need hand towels and someone to be at the property to assist with any questions or concerns

I loved the peacefulness and beauty up on the hill. I got up every morning in the fresh air and watched the sunrise.

More water since I was there 5 nights, only 2 waters were lthere upon my arrival and no one came in to replensih.

Just a short, five minute walk to main plaza and another 5 minute walk to the famous tourist attraction of the former home of Mexican actress Maria Felix.

Nothing bad to report!

Soap, it was awful. Rosa venuz soap for a hotel of almost 100 dollars is unacceptable
