The location was great, 5 or even less minutes from beach and 3 from most restaurants. The area is nice with many trees close by. There is a free parking available on the site. Room was tidy and daily cleaned, bath towels and beach towels were provided along with shampoo and shower gel. There was a common outisde area with hammocks and tables plus roofed tarrace and eating hall. Drinking water, coffe and tea was available 24h. There was also a shared basic kitchen with fridge available. The crew and owner were very helpfull and nice.

Wifi on first floor was not working as fast as it could, worked fine on the ground floor.

The main thing for us (50+ couple) is that the room is a decent size (enough to have 2 cases open on the floor) nicely decorated, clean, and that we feel safe and comfortable. All boxes ticked. Quiet Location. Nice surroundings. Great communal area for relaxing. Short walk from the beach. Space on the road next to the hotel for parking. Staff were great and really helpful.

Minor points.... The rooms don't have fridges so we borrowed a cool box from the hotel staff (thank you) and bought ice daily to keep drinks cold. Would be great if there was a communal fridge. Same for hot water for making coffees, but you can get round this by taking a travel kettle if you don't want to use the various cafes that are close by.

we loved our stay at Casa Cuyo - the rooms were a very good size with lots of space for clothes etc. We rented the King and Queen rooms which are on the top floor so we had the entire floor to ourselves and it felt very private. We enjoyed the terrace too. Free coffee throughout the day was a nice touch! Everybody was very friendly and welcoming. Overall we absolutely loved our stay in El Cuyo and would love to return.

The drains in the bathroom smelled quite bad in both rooms - but just a minor point.

Hotel Casa Cuyo is a brand new place. Is was clean, lots of windows with screens, two ceiling fans, small but modern bathroom with shower, nice and cozy garden, a huge lounge area upstairs and a small restaurant with great breakfast. Great place to meet people

There was nothing I did not like.

Lovely hotel in a quiet part of town opposite the baseball park. The room was very spacious and well equipped as was the bathroom. The shared terrace was perfect to drink a few sundowners. Car parking was also available on site. We ate at the restaurant both nights and enjoyed the food.... Italian / Mexican food fusion. Thanks to Marco for being an excellent host and hope to return someday.

I loved the entire space! The king size bed was so comfy, excellent shower, wifi, & the rooftop had a little seating area with a beautiful nature view, hammocks for laying in the garden area, as well as an amazing Italian restaurant with the best shrimp burger and authentic pasta I have ever tried. Nestled and tucked away from the main road, which made it a quiet and tranquil place to stay!

This little hotel had a great restaurant with affordable, delicious food. It was easy to walk to town to get food or go to the pier and beach. There was a water refilling station which made hydration easy. The staff, especially at reception and in the kitchen, was really helpful and friendly. Shower worked great with plenty of hot water. Parking on site was convenient.

The room was quite small for the price, and was quite hot even through the night. If you are sensitive to heat, this might not be the place for you. Beds and linens were just ok. It's family friendly, so kids were making noise since early in the morning.

I had a lovely stay here! Pati and all staff were so welcoming and helpful. The hotel is a short walk to the beach and to some great restaurants. The room was spacious and it was very clean. While I was there, I enjoyed working from the common area, where there was tea, coffee, and some cookies available :) .

Everything was wonderful! The only thing that was a little disappointing was that the restaurant portion is not in service until further notice.

The Quadruple room was very clean and spacious. The staff were attentive and happy to help with any questions we had. There were nice hammocks and communal areas for relaxing and it is located only a short walk from the beach. I also lost my Sunglasses at one point and thought they were gone as I headed off for the bus. Bus as we waited for the bus one of the staff members appeared on a scooter with my glasses having found them cleabing and returned them to me. Very grateful for their excellent service.

We spent amazing 4 days at Casa Cuyo! The hotel is located few minutes walk form the beach, which is great. Our room was spacious, the bed was super comfortable, everything was clean and tidy, the food at the restaurant was delicious and staff is very nice :) I also liked that we could refill our water bottles at the hotel and the recycling options. Thanks for being sustainable! Yes, there are no AC in the rooms, but during 4 days of our stay it never had been hot in the room, 2 fans were more than enough to keep the temperature cool. Highly recommend this place!
