Excellent location, accessible directly from the main road, however very quiet, being in a nice natural environment, out of the populated area. Just a 3 minutes drive from Uxmal ruins and 25 minutes from Kabah ruins. Room was spacious, well maintained and clean, with huge windows facing the pool area. Beds were extra comfy and here we had a normal bathroom where water stayed well inside the shower and not floaded evetything :) Even if in the middle of the January main season, there were only a few guests (could not find the reason why, it is really a great place to stay), it was very familial, quiet and relaxing. Breakfast was excellent, freshly made from eggs, ham/bacon, american pencakes. Toasts, butter and jams were served in addition. I regret we did not stay for an extra day just to relax and enjoy the beautiful pool area.

Only thing missing was a drying rack for our wet towels and clothes. But each room had a large balcony, we used the bar to hang our staff.

Gorgeously landscaped pool area, views of the Uxmal pyramids from the top floor rooms, reasonable food and drink prices. Nicely renovated bathroom. This place is not perfect, but if you want a great pool and can get a good rate, jump on it. It is quite a good value if you are okay with a 1970s-era hotel that is only partly renovated.

The entrance area looked pretty run down so it scared me at first. WiFi did not work inside the room, but was great in the pool area and on my balcony. The downstairs dining room has depressing blue fluorescent lighting and huge tables of tour groups giving it all the ambiance of a nursing home cafeteria. (Hint: ask to have your meal at a palapa table out by the pool.). The pool itself has flaking paint so it may look off putting at first, but appeared to be properly maintained and was quite enjoyable.

The hotel was great for our purpose: one night close to Uxmal archeological site. But it was also so close to the place of interest that we were able to visit chocolate museum and planetarium nearby. Hotel is rather big resort but the staff is friendly an very well organized and check-in and -out is very quick. If you have a room on upper floors - you have a beautiful view on the forest. The standard of rooms and facilities is basic but everything is clean and working. Very good choice.

Great location, just 2 minutes from Uxmal (by car). Nice view in the garden and surroundings. Has a restaurant inside (as there are not to many options nearby)..... perfect for a night stopover to visit Uxmal as early in the morning as possible. Great price.

Bedsheets and towels had stains on them. Even though I believe they have been washed it still leaves an odd feeling. The food in the restaurant wasn't of good quality and therefore a bit expensive...but at least you're able to get there some food anyway.

Incredible location with jaw dropping views over the jungle to Uxmal. Lovely big pool and garden area. The room was lovely, really big, comfortable and clean. The food was good, and the staff were pleasant.

The hotel did look a bit tired, could do with a paint, the restaurant was a more like a cafeteria with all the tables and the bright lights. And I paid £25 for a massage that wasn’t very good.

Lovely big room with a very large balcony and a view of the pool and surrounding areas. Easy access to the ruins - I could walk there. The weather was not too good but I did manage one swim in the pool. Pool area is very attractive. Food pretty average as I would expect for this type of hotel.

The place needs a bit of tlc but to be honest it didn’t affect my enjoyment of the stay.

Loved this classic mid-century design. Spacious rooms. Great view of the pool. The rooftop solarium is an extra bonus with a view of the Uxmal ruins, great sunsets and sunrises, as well as watching some great thunderstorms. The beef steak is amazing.

The wine is not great. I had the Cabernet Sauvignon and it was pretty bad. Also, strangely room service and food can't be charged to the room, so you have to go down to the kitchen to process the transactions.

My travel buddy and I stayed here 2 nights to explore surrounding areas. This was a nice mid-level hotel. I'm not sure what the usual price is, but I booked it for $54 a night, and at that price, it was a bargain. The photos of the big rooms are accurate - clean and white with a large sliding glass window opening onto a generous balcony overlooking the large pool area and jungle. I liked the long bathroom counter. It's close to the Uxmal ruins - 3 min in a car or about a 25 min walk. We bought ice for a couple bucks from the restaurant to pack some drinks in a cooler for a day trip on the Ruta Puuk. The beds were hard, but had a little bit of pillow top to try to soften it. The white sheets were nice. A/C and Wi-Fi worked. It was quiet. In early August, I only saw about 20 other people there. There was a spa on the top floor, but I never went.

The pictures are a little more glamorous than the actual stay, but it was decent. I never saw any staff in the pool area, but I wasn't out there. The pool was really murky. Restaurant service was really slow and the food was not very good. The shower head wasn't great. In addition, the water pressure was pretty low for the toilet and shower. At first, the toilet would not flush, and we hadn't even used it yet. After a few hours, it flushed, but after that, my trust in that toilet felt tenuous at best. There's no elevator, so you'll need to schlep your bags up the stairs yourselves. There was a large rooftop deck, but no shade or chairs.

The room was great, very clean and looking over the pool, it is also only 15 minutes walking distance to Uxmal down a shady path. The staff were friendly and the views amazing

The restaurant food was awful and very expensive. My partner had flank steak which looked like it had been boiled. The pool was a bit dirty They need to provide at least 2 comfy chairs on your balcony as they only provide one wooden dining chair. Lots of Mozzys but you are in the jungle

It is a bit of an old fashioned place, but it has all one needs. Pool area is great, do come a bit earlier to enjoy it since the sun sets early behind the hotel. Close to Uxmal, perfect for the early start.

Food is really below average. Dinner and breakfast. Lot of space for improvement. There is an issue with some bugs that are everywhere, you have to step on them on you way from the room, harmless, but still a bit uncomfortable. :-)
