The room (on the 15th floor) was huge and spacious and matched my booking. The bathroom was also well equipped and everything worked. The hotel staff at the reception and coffee shop were outstanding and friendly, always trying to find a solution. Also, a driver was organized for my tours very uncomplicated. The breakfast was varied, international and plentiful, but one should not expect bread toppings like sausage and cheese (but plenty of sweet bread toppings and all egg dishes freshly prepared in the hot station). About the spa: the pool was large and warm, the sauna pleasant. Massages etc were not offered or tested by me during my stay. The hotel is within walking distance of the German Embassy and the central square with many restaurants, sights and stores, there is a bus stop at the back of the hotel. If I come to UB again, I would go to this hotel again.

The hotel should consider having adult slots only in the SPA, especially in the evening. During my time it was very loud even in the late evening due to screaming and playing children. A SPA is a relaxing zone and not a playground. However, pool temparature was good and shower / bathrooms were clean.

Front Desk employees, Maralaa and Ganaa are very professional with great communication skills in a friendly manner, and was impressed by their willingness to assist at anytime. The bellboy, Javkhaa was very helpful and amicable to offer help despite of his business as well. The employee attires were suitable for the hospitality industry as they seemed well trained. The entire stay was convenient and pleasant as all questions were answered precisely and serve delivered in such professional matter. Highly recommend.

The wifi seemed quite unsafe as it does not inquire a password.

The room design and furniture and comfortable bed, clean room and friendly staff at front count and dinning hall.

A strange man in name of service staff without wearing uniform went into my room picked up two beers in the fridge very rudely and told me they withdraw the expired bottles. However, when I checked out, I was requested to pay for the two bottles of Beer. Although after my explanation, the staff did not charge me, they did not explain who is the man took out the bottles of beer.

friendly check in, a lot of help from the staff, lot of care. several good restaurant inside the hotel. very warm and quite accomodation. Receptionist found a taxi cab from local provider, when all hotel transfers were busy - very touchy

the spa zone doesn't worth a time and money. we chose the hotel with exact target - to relax and swim. swimming pool is extremely shoal. and accompanied with the sauna with size for 2 people. no steam room or jacuzzi. when we came both the swimming pool and sauna were cold. Whole facility was very cold, maybe because it has glass walls and it is winter, but with Mongolian climate the owner has to think about it. looks just like economy it is prohibited to take photo)))

Location great (and clean compared to another hotel we had been in the city!

Some very weird stuff for a property like this - imagine not being able to put meals onto your room account? Imagine further ordering room service because you are exhausted and being welcomed at your room door with a lovely meal .. and an EFT-POS machine and required to furnish the card or cash to receive your meal! Not anything I’ve ever experienced globally before....

Loved the view on the higher floors of the hotel, also breakfast was amazing and the stuff been very nice. The free sauna and pool service is nice add on (however not working when I came back second time), the place is verz clean and just 10 min walking from main square.

We had to change the room twice as the airconditioning did not work (however aftr second time moving we got an upgrade, which was nice, but it just took so much time from our short stay and moving wround whioch was a time waste ). Also the door on the female sauna is broken, and after stuff told me to wait 10 min to heat up, in the end it was one hour hanging around in the towel :D, so more waisting time, also the pool was out of service. Overall I like the hotel but I would say its little overpriced.

Nice, clean and overall a pleasant stay. Staff made our first trip to Mongolia wonderful. Got an upgrade and early check in which was much appreciated after we took a 3am train from a village to arrive at 7am. Will definitely stay there again. A short walk to Gobi Cashmere store which was a huge plus for us 4 ladies. ❤️

We stayed at the Ibis and couldnt sleep at all. The Novotel was a welcome change. We regretted not booking the Novotel for all our nights in UB. The room was clean, spacious, the beds were so comfortable, and best of all you didnt hear noise form the outside which was a huge problem at the IBIS.

loved the staff, especially the little coffee shop staff. they were always so friendly and eager to go out their way to help.

Unfortunately the pool was not very warm at times which ruined my normal 6am swim mot mornings. The last time i came 3 years ago, the pool was always kept warm.

Everything was great and the staff was super helpful. Rooms were very comfortable and spacious, breakfast was excellent, and location was very convenient. No complaints at all and would definitely stay here again! Thanks so much Novotel we loved our visit with you!
