Ismail was the sweetest and gentlest of hosts who could not do enough for me no matter what it was— procuring a needle and thread for me when a button popped off my pants, to serving me breakfast at noon when I wasn't feeling well and slept in, to escorting me to the main road to get a cab when I left. The riad is very simple, but neat, tasteful, clean, quiet and very comfortable. Rooms are a little small, but that is to be expected in Marrakech. The location is very safe— no one on the street in the neighborhood even glanced my way. It's in the southern part of the medina, so if you want to explore the north side, you have about a 45 min walk. But watch out for a little girl who lives in the neighborhood— she pretends to be hungry and homeless and attached herself to my elbow begging for money. But I passed her constantly in the neighborhood riding a bicycle, playing, and sporting a Disney track suit. She's no threat though, just a little mischievious.

nothing! everything was wonderful.

Riad Ahlsouss and Yousef provided a wonderful base for exploring Marrakech. Yousef was always welcoming and happy to help in so many ways including coming out to find me when I couldn't find the riad. I had a most comfortable room, the place was beautifully presented and with only 4 rooms it was a lovely calm space, a perfect contrast to the mayhem of the souks. The breakfast was lovely and traditional and I had a really relaxed stay there - thank you!

I did like this, but some will find it a wee bit distant from the centre. However I liked the short walk, experiencing more of everyday Marrakech and I enjoyed the quiet surroundings compared to the centre, so give it a try!

Lovely riad in a residential area so it’s super quiet. It’s not too far from the Badi palace so outside of the walled part of medina but it’s not far to walk into town (10-15min). Staffs are incredibly helpful too. It was cheaper to order taxi through them than via booking.com when going to the airport. The riad is for close couples as it is semi open designs. You can’t see the toilet from the bed as it’s hidden away but you could hear everything. For me even in normal hotels are the same thing but some may be more self conscious. For the price you pay this riad is so worth it especially when having good sleep is important for us. The bed is a bit hard for side sleepers but perfect for me as a back sleeper. If you have mobility issues than riads may not be the best for you as there are many stairs to walk. The sound insulation within the riad like most isn’t the best but we could only hear if someone comes in from the downstairs front door or if our neighbour underneath turned on the extractor fan. Seem to be a common issue for all riads so we weren’t bothered by it. Just know that if you want to top up your orange sim for data, you can’t just top up using the way of the voucher, you need to add *3 if you just want internet because you’ll be topping up for minutes to call and text and only 100mb per 10dr.

Wi-Fi isn’t the best and the location is hard to find at first. We find the location on maps.me took us to another riad and on google it was a bit confusing as it doesn’t show all the paths. We found the riad by following signs to other riad then kept going forward with the turns and focused on finding the number 95 above the doors and found an unassuming door for the riad

We loved the peace and tranquility, even though in the hectic of the city. Our host, Youssef, did go above and beyond to give us a pleasant stay. Always there when we get back, making us feel at home. Nothing is too much for him. We wanted to drink tea when we came back at 1 o' clock in the morning, and it was no problem at all. He brought it all the way up for us to drink on the rooftop. Clean rooms and very clean kitchen and main areas. Good breakfast, too. Make sure you book a lunch or dinner at the riad cause that was the best couscous we ate in Marrakesh, for real!!! Will be back for sure.

Nothing. The only point of attention is that if your mobility is not good, you should not stay here. All rooms are up, and stairs are quite steep.

The property is a close walk to many of the main sites in Marrakech. The rooms are very nice and clean. Youssef makes a brilliant breakfast in the morning and is so generous in his tips for what to do around Marrakech and is always on call if you need any assistance. On the last night of our stay, there was the devastating earthquake and Youssef was so kind treating my partner and I like family, ensuring we were safe and comfortable. He also arranged a taxi for us at 4am that morning so we could get to the airport safely. I could not recommend this property high enough.

The host was really friendly and we managed to communicate despite our very limited French. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and we felt very peaceful there. We had one of our best nights sleeps here and wished we could change our booking at another more expensive hotel which had a much lower standard. We were not hassled to buy other trips. This was an absolute treat, the room was beautifully furnished with amazing colours and it felt so clean. We were really grateful to have found this place and we would highly recommend.

Wish we could have stayed longer!! Yousef was so kind in helping us with everything we needed & rushed across town to meet us when our driver showed up really early. Such a great guy, he was so kind and helpful. Plus this is the best deal in Marrakech in my opinion. The room was so nice & cozy. My only regret is that I didn’t have breakfast, we had to catch a train at 7 am. Will be back for the breakfast at some point hopefully! Thanks Yousef!! 🙏

I loved everything

Great little riad for exploring Marrakech, though over a 10 minute brisk walk to the medina and souks. Excellent value for money and the host was friendly and always on-hand if required. The breakfast was lovely (far too much for one person I'd add) and all freshly prepared each morning. The room was adequate for a single person or (close) couple, with the shower and toilet being almost open-plan to the studio room. Shower was great and lovely hot water all day/night. The location is a little off the main road down a few little side streets, but I wasn't worried at all and it didn't feel unsafe, apart from the scooter and mopeds whizzing up and down intermittently. It was very quiet at night inside, but the streets were bustling most of the time. Would recommend to like-minded travellers, though perhaps less so for a romantic break or holiday with children.

I don't have anything negative to say about my stay here, I got exactly what I paid for and expected, with the bonus of a really great host thrown in!

Nice and cosy riad with only a few guest rooms. The place is situated in a quite calm part of the city but easily walking distance for the typical touristic areas. Very friendly and welcoming host who also made very sure to be clear with the directions for the riad as it is down some small roads that are not necessarily navigatable on google maps. Big plus for the dinners and cooking we did together with the host :)

The room had at times a bit of a humid smell, but keeping the window open made it go away so it wasn't a big deal at all.

This Riad was just what we were looking for. Yousef was helpful and courteous. Google maps got us almost to the correct location but Yousef will contact you and meet you to show you the way (we missed this because we had mobile data turned off). Otherwise, local people will help (but will want some money). The Riad is close to all the things we wanted to see (about 10min from the Medina) but as soon as you leave the main street, all the noise and hustle and bustle fades away. We went on two trips during our stay and were picked up from the nearest main street next to the Berrima mosque. The Riad itself was traditional and comfortable with a TV room, inner courtyard and small rooftop terrace. Thank you to Yousef for being such a nice host.

Everything was good, but a name plate next to the front door and at the end of the alleyway would help.
