I had chosen Hotel Azoul basically because of its location. It is right in the centre of Ouarzazate, close to everything you might need during your stay. Check-in was easy and friendly (I arrived close to midnight). Azoul rooms may not be the most contemporary (like the bathroom was a bit old-fashioned) but very comfy, quiet and clean. Breakfast was served next door, in a small café and was fine. The staff at Azoul, especially Mohamed, were really nice.

Wifi signal can get weak but you just go into the hallway and it is ok.

Staff are extremely friendly, speak very good english.Thank you Ayoub, Simo and Mohammed. You always made sure we were comfortable, arranged our taxi for Ouarzazate. The location is perfect, next to CTM coach station, few restaurants, close to supermarket, close to Atlas studio. Pretty basic but good value for money. It was a stop over for us for 2 days as our destination was really to go to Ouarzazate. Thank Abu Samad our taxi driver, his driving was safe, stopped in various interesting locations although we did not ask for and we only paid the price that was initially agreed , did not charge us any extra. Also spoke good English throughout the whole day.

A bit dark, maybe brighter lights to brighten up the hotel. The key rings are way too big to hold!!! Cleaner towels and sheets.

The room was small, but comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The bed was really comfy. The overall feel was welcoming. Staff were really friendly and ready to help.

There were no chairs or small table on the balcony, so we tracked some down so we could enjoy the outside space. The rooftop was pretty much empty and was unusable. The upholstered furniture was worn and old. Not that I expect or want updated style. Same furniture style would be great, just refreshed. The room would have benefited from little bedside table.

Mohamed at reception was very friendly and helpful. I was supposed to be staying at another hotel with a group, but ended up leaving and booking here last minute. Mohamed helped me sort out my boarding pass and reassured me when I was worried about getting to the airport safely. He went above and beyond. Comfortable bed, tea & a good amount of space. The hotel was in a good location, quiet, and felt safe. The hotel is walking distance from the centre and the airport. There were enough towels for the bathroom, and there was enough soap (sounds like an odd thing to mention in a review, but the last two hotels I'd stayed in had none). Everything was clean, well-maintained and the room had a pleasant smell. Great value for money. The double bed was lovely, and I probably had the best sleep of my whole trip in this hotel. Good air conditioning and a good view outside. I would recommend this hotel.

Bit more expensive than other hotels nearby, but I did book last minute (same day, so higher prices are expected) and it was definitely worth it to have a clean and comfortable room! Tea was provided but there was no kettle - it still tasted good with cold mineral water, but would've been nice to have been able to make it properly. No major complaints :)

I am Moroccan, I took my partner to Morocco , seeking some sunshine., The place exceeded our expectations. The place was lovely and the room and bed were absolutely excellent. On top, we made friends with hosts Mohamed and Wail who were very friendly and could do anything to advise you and make you enjoy the place. i like the property as the location first as a moroccan born and raised living currently abroad i haven’t chance in my life fo visit ouarzat , the city is absolutely stunning and gorgeous a bit hot but the weather more healthier, i feel really comfortable. talking about the place the hotel is based in heart of city close to everything as shop central city and public transport as well. the staff as mohammed was working morning shift he host me with a brillant and lovely smile and attitude and kindly ask if i need anything and he show me the way to coach station. Fatim ezzahra was working as evening shift she so sweet generous, positive vibe walid the night guy is super nice too , thanks for direction to get the water ( lol ) shout out to all the staff and lovely ouarzazat ppls

it’s not bad thinks i think is better to put some shampoo and sop in the bathroom.

We really enjoy and thankful we stayed at the “Hotel Azoul”. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They helped us assemble our bikes after flying in from the US. The hotel is nicely located on the north edge of town. It is clean and well kept. We enjoyed having breakfast next door. It gave us a chance to view the city “waking up” and kids being taken by their parents to school. Fred K. USA Fr

Great value at £31 for the night for two people. The guy at the front desk Walid was very polite and helpful and helped us with directions for places etc. Room was clean and shower worked well. Bed was a little hard but that seems the thing in Morocco as beds everywhere were a little harder than I'm used to.10 min walk from the main square. We could possibly have stayed closer to the centre but it would have cost more i think

The two guys at reception were exceptionally welcoming, informative and friendly. A real asset to this hotel! We had everything we needed, a large clean room with a hot shower.

The room has a fridge, but it doesn't plug in, so you cannot use it. Bit bizarre! It would be nice to have a bright comfortable lounge. But for one night it was great.

We are cycle tourers and this place was a perfect stay for us. It was easy to cycle to, our tandem was stored securely inside and the room had everything we needed. It had a good shower, a comfortable bed with good linen, heating, a balcony and was a five minute walk from the Carrefore. The staff were very kind and helpful.
