We just spent 5 nights at the Hotel El Toro and can not rate them more highly. But what makes this hotel extra special is the staff. For the moment we made the booking, the communication and availability were above and beyond. We arrived right at the beginning of Ramadan and were made to feel so welcome. Seeing to everything we needed from the taxi at the airport to the moment we left. The hotel is impeccably clean, and our room was cleaned every day. The staff were always on hand and available and smiling. With a special thanks to Mohammad for his happy demeanour and care and attention. Luckily for us as it was Ramadan we went half board. Which saved us as it was difficult to find places to eat in the daytime. The food was always plentiful and fresh, and we certainly never felt hungry. Drinks and mint tea were also included and we also had a kettle and fridge in the room. There is also a supermarket very close by if needed We highly recommend this hotel as it was easy to travel around from and gave us the ability to see a more varied view of Tangier

Nothing not to like but just be aware that the hotel is a good 30mins walk outside of town. But is easily accessible by taxi

The location is good, the breakfast is perfect with so many options to choose from, the staff at the hotel went above and beyond to make sure we are satisfied and that we have everything we need. The rooms are spacious, modern, and the beds are very comfortable! A special thanks to Mohamed who woke up at 5am to make a breakfast for us as we were leaving for the airport. The people are so kind and welcoming, we felt like at home at this hotel. I recommend it to everyone visiting Tangier 😊

I recently booked & arranged for 4 guests to stay at this hotel. We were all thoroughly impressed by the cleanliness of the rooms and the professionalism of the staff. The reception/ reservations team was attentive to the needs of my guests and went above and beyond to accommodate our special requests. For example, despite the standard breakfast time being 08:00, they graciously prepared an early breakfast for 4 of the guests so they could make it to their exam on time. This is a newly built hotel, located not too far away from the train station and la corniche. I highly recommend this hotel for its exceptional service and dedication to customer satisfaction.

Detail oriented. Many details can surprise you pleasantly. The guy who rans this hotel must be a high end psychologist, to fulfill many if not all your needs that a layman consumer can have. Devices are carefully selected ranging from lights, window shied, led, music to fridge to name a few. You have to explore it yourself. Service is first class, Mohammed for example, took care of my needs in the canteen. I wish the guy who runs this hotel can run the ministry of tourism in Morocco. In the long run it pays off. Good job.

I had a truly wonderful experience during my stay! This is one of the newest and cleanest hotels I’ve seen as a world traveler. The front office staff is always available, and Mohammad, in particular, was incredibly helpful both in the morning and at night, ensuring a comfortable stay. The breakfast was fantastic—a unique combination of European, Mediterranean, and Asian flavors, providing a perfect start to the day. The open and spacious dining area offers a great street view, and breakfast is available until 11:00 AM, making for a relaxing and unhurried morning. The neighborhood and location are very safe, allowing for enjoyable walks at any time of the day. My room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, which made my stay even more pleasant. The service was impeccable, and the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed and well taken care of. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable stay!

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. The rooms were spotless, well-designed, and very comfortable, with all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. The location was perfect—convenient to key attractions and easily accessible. One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast. As a Moroccan, I know how an authentic Moroccan breakfast should taste, and this hotel truly delivered. We had an amazing stay for just one night, and it exceeded all our expectations! The place was incredibly quiet and comfy, perfect for a restful night. The staff were super friendly and welcoming and special thanks to Mohammed, who was more than helpful and made sure everything was perfect for us. Breakfast was a delightful surprise,so tasty with a wide variety of options to choose from, something for everyone! The location is a solid 10/10, very convenient, and the cleanliness of the place was spotless. Honestly, we got even more than what we paid for or expected. Highly recommend, and we’d definitely come back!

I really liked my time here, the hotel is super clean, staff very helpful & active listener, the location is good just tell the taxi put me in front of "Plaza Toro" is a known location. The breakfast was amazing, very large choice in buffet and good quality. The thing that made me choose this hotel over the large choices i had in booking is the reviews confirming how clean the hotel is & now that i spent the night i can confirm the sheets were super clean, you can smell lavender in them & tell they were freshly washed. I highly recommend this hotel the price/service equation is very positive 👌.

I had an amazing 4-day, 3-night stay at El Toro Hotel in Tangiers, and I can't recommend it enough! The hotel was spotlessly clean with impeccable hygiene standards, making it feel like a brand-new European or UK establishment. The location is ideal, right on a main road with easy access to taxis, so exploring the Medina, local restaurants, malls, and other city attractions was a breeze. The breakfast was always fresh, plentiful, and delicious—perfect to start the day. The hotel transfers were easy to book. Driver was able to speak well and knew the best ways to avoid traffic. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Mohammad and Bilal and Ibrahim, who went out of their way to make my stay comfortable. Mohammad even walked me to nearby shops to get some essentials when I arrived, which was such a kind and thoughtful touch. The decor is modern and stylish, with new furniture that adds to the luxurious feel. Room service was consistent and trustworthy, with daily cleaning that kept my room in perfect condition. Overall, El Toro Hotel felt like a home away from home. The combination of excellent service, a convenient location, and great value for money makes it an ideal choice for any traveller. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again—highly recommended!

The breakfast is included into the price and it was awesome- a great variety of bakery, cupcakes, salads , fruit, olives, cottage cheese, eggs, fresh juice and there was even local soup. Everything was delicious! The room is clean. The bed is comfy. The stuff are super friendly.

The hotel is not located near Medina, so you have to take a bus or a taxi (but it’s not very expensive, around 1,5-2 euros). But maybe it’s a plus, not a minus.
