The Kasbah had character and a lovely terrace with views over the nearby Palmeraie. The welcome, warm hospitality and attention to detail were superb and a great feature of our stay. The room was comfortable but the B.com description was inexact. Supper was superb in a room full of atmosphere and breakfast was great in a different room with a view over the pool

The B.com description of the room said there was a terrace, there was but it was a terrace for everyone to use and not attached to the room. The B.com blurb did not mention that the pool was closed for repairs and improvements.

First thing to mention are the hosts, a very hard working husband and wife team who do everything to make your stay the best it can be offering good advice on walks adjacent to the accommodation (there is a pleasant hours walk through the palmerie) and further afield in the Todra Gorge. Welcomed on arrival with tea and snacks on the terrace overlooking the palmerie after a long drive which was most welcome. The rooms are quite rustic so anyone wanting super luxury may want to look elsewhere but for us, it was fine, Family owned, authentic, very clean and plenty of hot water for a shower. Dinner consists of tagine and a vegetarian option can be provided which was very good. Breakfast consisted of egg, yoghurt, bread, jams, cheese and fruit provided a good start to the day. Parking available adjacent to the property.

Amazing Kasbah!!!! We arrived quite late and the host prepared tea for us, provided us with some very useful information and even offered us to use the pool for a late night dip! The cleanliness of the room was outstanding, nice furniture and very spacious room. Breakfast on the terrace was absolutely delicious, very flexible breakfast hours, homemade jam, good coffee, delicious home made crêpes and much more. And stunning view from the terrace over the oasis and the mountains. We regretted that we could only stay for one night. Great location with the Todra Gorge and the city of Tinghir very close by.

The hosts were brillant, so hospitable, they went the extra mile to make our stay just perfect. Also, the home cooked meals were absolutely fabulous. The place itself is utterly charming. Garden, roof terrace, interior. And the view to the mountains plus the opportunity to roam the nearby palmeraie and old kasbah on foot makes the location just great.

On our way back from the Sahara we got chatting to 2 French guys also on Motos who told us about Le Petit Nomad, just short of the Todra Gorge. So we booked straight away at a reasonable cost and discovered a beautiful house with lovely Riad type architecture and rooms with views to the Atlas, or as we chose, a little apartment in the garden next to a beautiful pool and terrace with very comfy chairs and shade and secure parking for the Moto right by our door. Everything in the rooms, gardens and buildings is full of thoughtful touches and stunningly clean. Our charming host took so much trouble and spoke excellent English and recommended a walk in the Palmerie to the old village across the road which was delighful. We met many friendly people walking in the palmerie and felt very lucky to have had this opportunity. Back to the Petit Nomad for good Wi-Fi and a delicious dinner and a great nights sleep before the most delicious homemade breakfast. All in all this was such a memorable stay in a place that you would never have expected would yield such a treasure. We could have stayed for a week very easily! Our huge thanks to this lovely family for making our short stay such a happy one

After a warm welcome, we opted to have dinner here at Kasbah Petit Nomad - Lovely garden area to enjoy an aperitif and our meals - the setting is beautiful with an outlook over the palm trees; the food was delicious and the service was outstanding... We had a great evening. The room was beautiful, comfortable and quiet, everything contributing to a good night's sleep. Breakfast was generous and delicious.

Nothing - we had a prefect stay

The team are wonderful and definitely go the extra mile to make their guests feel comfortable. The pool is great. Breakfast and dinner are served on a beautiful terrace under the trees, overlooking a palm tree orchard. The food was exceptional and more refined than many of the other Moroccan dishes we have had. Thank you for the nice stay!

EXCELLENT home-cooked meals, in our opinion absolutely worth dining in (for a fair price) or even just booking for lunch or dinner if you don't want to stay over | staff infinitely helpful and welcoming as in a family-run guesthouse (which indeed it is), but at the same time discreet and professional as in a hotel.

This is generally 'only' a gateway to the todra gorges but the facility with its swimming pool, terraces and gardens is so welcoming that it could be a good base, e.g. for families with children, to rest a few days. There is a small, delightful palmerie to visit in the village.

I have always found Moroccans to be friendly, welcoming people but the owner of Petit Nomad, Lahcen, takes the crown. He and his wife go above and beyond to ensure that guests have a pleasant stay, making sure we found our way to the local sites with a hand drawn map and even baking gluten free bread especially for me as I had messaged in advance to request a GF breakfast option (I have coeliac disease). Our evening dinner was hands down the best tagine in Morocco - and we’d eaten a lot of tagines at this point! A lovely guest house with lovely gardens, beautiful views, a nice little pool, and wonderful owners. Would recommend to anyone and keen to come back.

Very friendly welcome from the owner who speaks outstanding English, delicious dinner with home made meatball tagine, homemade jams with breakfast, lovely to be on the edge of the village to see out into the palmerie, beautiful stars and terrace.
