Welcoming owners, lovely room, great breakfast and great location, everything fantastic....apart from the bike hire!
We made use of the bikes for one day to cycle into Amsterdam. The day itself was fantastic and it took less then half an hour to reach the city centre via some beautiful cycle tracks and the free ferry. We weren't told about the hire fee at the time but, the next day as we were leaving, were charged 60 euros!! This was for four bikes for one day!! It would have been cheaper to have driven in and parked in the city centre, which was nearly 40 euros for one day! It's a shame as the day itself was great and everything else about our stay was perfect but to suddenly have a 60 Euro charge for bicycles for one day left a bitter taste in our mouths!

Great spot for short or long stay in an enjoyable and charming countryside located in close proximity of the Amsterdam city. We had a 4 p. apartment and it was fully comfortable for a our one week stay. It was very clean, very well equipped and the hosts Karen and Wilco were really helpfull - thank you for making our holidays to be a really great time! Fresh eggs and good products for the breakfast - the breakfast is by refilling the fridge and the bread to be baked by yourself which is really great idea as you can eat whenever it's suitable for you. To go to Amsterdam we used the onsite accessible bikes - it's just 6.5km/ half of hour of enjoyable ride to reach ferry to Amsterdam Centraal. We used also the bikes to go to the De Witte Swaen in Broek in Waterland - great local place for pancakes and only 5km/20 minutes by bike. We visited the cities near Amsterdam by car. The location of the B&B Zunderdorp is a perfect spot for that as even if located in peacf countryside area, it's being placed close to the main road so it's perfectly communicated and you are omitting lot of the Amsterdam traffic.
No weak points, we really enjoyed our time at B&B Zunderdorp.

Stayed her for 2 nights in August 2023 to use as a base for a city break of Amsterdam. Didn't want to stay in the centre as we had our car and bikes on the roof-this place was ideal for us Only 2 miles out so we were able to cycle in each day (with a 5 year old and 9 year old to give an idea of the level of the cycle journey) Place was impeccably clean. Breakfast provided in the fridge which was filled up as we used it during our stay. Very friendly hosts, gorgeous location which is in part still a working farm with various animals (added bonus is fresh eggs each morning) Would stay again and would recommend

B&B Zunderdorp is located on a farm in a beautiful picturesque rural village only 18kms from the centre of Amsterdam. From the property it is easy to access Nord Station by car or bicycle, then catch the train 2 stops to central station. We were met by the host who was very welcoming. He showed us to our room, explained all we needed to know & provided us with an information book in case we forgot anything. The room was a large size, with good space for sitting & relaxing, cooking meals in the kitchenette, or eating at the dining table. The kitchenette had a good sized fridge, induction cook top, toaster oven, and a good selection of cookware etc. The bathroom was a good size & the shower was excellent. Our bed was large and very comfy. Everything in our room was very well presented & maintained with obvious care & love. A variety of breads, cheese, meat juice, milk etc was provided in the room for breakfast & we were encouraged to collect fresh eggs from the hen house for breakfast also. We enjoyed eating our meals outside while watching the peaceful farmyard scenes of chickens, goats, donkeys and cows on the property. I recommend this property to anyone who is considering visiting Amsterdam.

We liked everything. Great location, nice & quiet, easy bike ride to the metro station along the canals with wonderful views around, friendly helpful owner. Breakfast was ample and tasty, it was great that we could have fresh eggs every morning too - and see all those cute farms animals there. The room was comfy, bright and clean, it had everything needed. I especially liked the details - traditional cups & plates, room plants. There was a useful guide in the room telling all about local sites, shops, cafes, what to see & do around, parking, biking, the hotel rules, etc - amazing job done with creating it! Thank you, Wilco & Karen, you are doing a great job there and if we ever go back to Amsterdam we will definitely stay at your place again.

The whole apartment was very clean and beautiful, equiped with modern furniture. I really appreciate that the fridge was refilled with fresh food for breakfast every day. :-) The environment was also very clean and rustic with plenty of lovely animals like donkeys, goats or hens thanks to which we could collect fresh eggs every morning and have wonderful meal for breakfast. Wilco and Karen always answered our questions quickly and helped us when we needed. I certainly recommend this lovely accomodation!
The location is little bit far from the city centre, however the price is favorable and we have very good experience using Bolt for quick and reliable transport to the city.

The farm house is situated in the beautiful, rural area north of Amsterdam. It is very quite, surrounded by meadows, canals, picturesque villages and many wild animals. Anyway it is very close to the next metro station (10 min by bicycle) and then three stops to Amsterdam’s center. You can rent good bicycles for little money from the hosts Wilco and Karen. Both are very kind, helpful and great to talk to. Fresh eggs for breakfast can be picked up in the hen house each morning. The hens are running wild in free in their compound and seem to be the happiest on earth. There is a nice folder with all important information about Amsterdam, short trips to the surroundings and beaches in the apartment. We stayed almost two weeks and weren’t bored a minute. Important to mention for everyone who loves sweets and needs energy after all that cycling: You can buy the most delicious ice cream in the village until 11pm.
There was nothing not to like.

Full marks to Wilco and Karen for thinking of pretty much everything their guests could need. The spacious family room has a very comfy bed and the pull-out sofa bed includes a mattress topper which meant it was as comfortable as a proper bed. Plenty of food provided for breakfast - sliced cheese and meat, rolls, croissants, yogurt, granola, coffee, tea, milk - and of course the plentiful supply of eggs! The rural location means virtually no traffic noise, but the animals - particularly the frogs at night - mean it's not dead silence ;-) Spacious shower, plenty of towels and even shower gel and shampoo. Everything was spotlessly clean. I would happily stay again and recommend to others.
Commendable effort to be eco-friendly means no A/C, so we struggled a bit on the first night with windows kept closed as we didn't discover the fly/mosquito screens until day 2. (Even then, a few of the buggers got in and gave us a few bites as the duvets were a bit heavy for summer weather). Single-day bicycle rental (which we would have liked) was priced a little too high for us, so instead we walked to the closest public transport link (1.9km) rather than cycling into town centre. (The 'whole stay' bicycle rental price is good value though - we might have done this for a longer stay.)

Karen and Wilco are the perfect hosts, they helped us with lots of indication how to reach the city center. Perfect location next to P+R Noord, very easy to go to Amsterdam Central Station from there. The B&B has free parking and charging station for electric cars (it needs to be activated with the batch, I used the Shell card). Very quiet in a countryside environment. Breakfast with fresh eggs from the farm chickens is a plus!
nothing... everything was perfect

Located away from the centre but I used the metro. 5 mins by car to the Park and Ride from the accomodation. Trains frequent and quick. It was only €1 to park all day when I redeemed the travel Chipcard at the parking machine on return. Cycling down to the station would have taken me about 12 mins and I believe cycles are available. Excellent flat. Quiet setting, spotless, comfortable and friendly helpful hosts. Would stay again.
Nothing.
