We loved it here. It was raining the whole time we stayed and this room was so cosy. The minibar was really thoughtfully stocked and reasonably priced; when we arrived late on Sunday nowhere was open so we ate the crackers and cheese from the minibar for dinner! The shower was also really powerful which we didn't expect.
We loved the outside space but it would've been nice to have a sense of separation from the room next door, just a bamboo wall or some big plants maybe? You are looking straight into eachothers faces otherwise haha. It also means we feel like we can keep the doors open when we go to bed which is nice when it's a bit humid or the rain sounds beautiful.

A very cozy room. Let me be clear about this statement --- the word "cozy" is often misused when it is inserted as a catch-all cover for smallness since the reviewer cannot think of something else to say. Not the case here! While the Hotel Pegasus' rooms are indeed small this smallness, together with how its selective use of room furnishings, makes for an enjoyable and intimate stay. Then too, our room had French Doors opening onto a large and comfortable deck seating area merging the outside with the inside. The availability of an excellent breakfast should not be overlooked and precluded. Easy free parking is a perk.
Room did not have air conditioning but this is somewhat understandable given that retrofitting to install could be difficult.

The roof deck was simply outstanding! We both caught colds during our first two weeks of traveling and being able to relax and recuperate under the trees was a blessing. Flowering trees were a delight to observe...but such a challenge to the owner, who did everything humanly possible to clean up the petals! Breakfast was perfect...more than enough and beautifully prepared and presented! It was amazing that even at full capacity occupancy, we didn't hear our neighbors - again contribiting to a delightful experience!
The bathtub/shower was a pretty challenging endeavor each night (for people over 70). But everything about our room at Hotel Pegasus was a joy due to the care and effort the Owner puts into this property.

Very authentic hotel, the staff dresses according to the time the hotel was built (1896), service was accordingly. Same with breakfast where staff served us in a 19 th century style. All was elegant and helpful. Owner was very accommodating and communicative. Could not ask for better. Location is superb close to the palace and the Parks.
Bikes had to be left outside, I suggest a bike room in the house as there seem to be a lot of cyclists.

Authentic 1896 house beautifully decorated, great staff (in Victorian outfits!), wonderful breakfast.
We didn't mind, but the building is, due to its age, quite noisy. It requires everyone to mind their steps and other movements around the house. No big problem, you just need to be aware.

Nice idea with nice victorian style. The building is beautiful and the distance to the inner city not too far.
Extremely small and inconvenient bathroom. No possibility of standing directly in front of the wash-basin due to the slanted roof. No shower, but a bath with quite an interesting way of hanging the shower-head on the ceiling. The result however, especially since there is no shower curtain, is a flooded bathroom. Daily question from the owner of the hotel if I wanted the room done and what I wanted done. I expect from a hotel that the room is cleaned and tidied up every day, without asking.

The property is old world, simply stunning! The location was perfect, a walk tomHet Loo Palace, Apenheul and the local supermarket. Kroller-Muller Museum is just a bus ride away. You could walk from the railway station but with luggage, not recommended. The hotel is nestled in quiet suburbia. The hospitality and help was wonderful. Jana is the perfect host

It takes you back to the Victorian Era, with an amazing architecture beautiful little forest like, garden at the back where they have a private parking. Our room left us speechless, every single detail from entrance to bathroom bed and outside on the balcony. The receptionist explained to us everything about the hotel , you can clearly hear how fascinated he is about this property, with all the knowledge he has about the Victorian times, and the beautiful way he presents it to the visitors. We had a lovely night! when we wake up to this amazing breakfast. i have to say, probably the nicest little place we have ever been in the Netherlands. Thank You !!

The hotel was like taking a step back in time but in a pleasant way, becoming part of the Victorian era. The greeting was friendly and the owners daughter provided an escorted tour, the bed was large and the canopy was draped above assisted with the ambiance. The bathroom was a surprise, floor was cold as tiled like marble, causing me to stand on a towel to overcome it. The bath was small but was adequate for the shower, initially we thought the water from the shower would go all over the floor but cleverly it retained the water within. As many have said, the breakfast was excellent and sustained us through to dinner time, all served by staff who were in costume, nice creative touch.
The room we had did feel cluttered with no where really to place our bags and motorcycle gear, we needed to place it where ever we could on the floor. Not really a dislike but for those wanting a near to the center location be prepared to walk approximately a mile to the restaurants etc, ok for most but could be an issue for the less active or elderly.

Located in a central location for the sites and city centre. Excellent accommodation for the price. Room with comfy bed, bath, balcony, fridge, coffee/tea and all you need. Breakfast was quick and plentiful. Parking at rear plentiful for the number of rooms. Room and street very quite so you sleep well. Balcony is a real balcony - not just something you have to squeeze a chair into.
Only problem for me was room was in the old attic. If you are tall like me head space in some areas is a small problem. Also staircase is typical Dutch style. Very narrow foot boards so tread carefully. Internet link was a bit weak being at the top of the house. Hotel can be easily driven past if looking for the hotel sign and not the street number.
