The hotel itself is a prestigious resort situated on the bank of the Vechte river, in a quiet and pastoral place. You could reach many interesting places to visit in a half-an hour or an hour of driving.

The hotel is expensive, while the restaurant on site is expensive even more. There was no refrigerator in the room. Thogh the our room had a laminate floor (I hate carpeted floors), there was a carpet under the bed (why? who needs it?). For sure, that carpet isn't vacuumed properly and we noted this. The shower, though surrounded by a glass cabin, has one side partially open, and taking shower always finished in a paddle on the bathroom floor, outside the shower.

The loft rooms are spacious and have very good air-conditioning (the others don't, so check when you book!). The bathrooms are nice with good showers. Also, there is an indoor space to store your bike with charging options for e-bikes. The breakfast was very nice with excellent bread and of course the terrace by the water.

The first room we had booked did not have air-conditioning, so we paid for the more expensive loft room. It is a bit strange that only certain rooms offer this. The restaurant was closed on Sundays.

The staff, reception. Trying to make it work for us and they did. Sauna included, which was nice (other then fletcher where you have tompay extra for it…). And late checkout without hassle. Secure bike storage, good beds, coffee in the hallway, fabulous restaurant. All in all, very hood and top-notch staff.

we didn’t know how much our dinner was going to cost. however, the food was fantastic and so was the setting on the Terrasse, we didn’t mind! the breakfast was delicious too!

Amazing view of the river (even saw a double rainbow), extremely tasty food at the restaurant and very accommodating staff, will stay again for sure!

The hotel is located in a amazing area good to go to with the bicycle. The breakfast is good and there was a friendly staf. Big rooms and bathroom and very clean.

We ask on the last minute a extra room, when we check out we have discussion for the price of the last room, the price was 30% more then we book with booking.com. Afterwards they give us a discount of 50,-€. Not done for a hotel with this level.

Lovely location, EXCELLENT food, nice activities to do in nature, general calm ambience

A lot of rooms aren’t river facing, the walk to the rooms feels a little bit corporate-y, and it could do with some wellness facilities to really make it the whole package, also it might be nice to offer a shuttle service to nearby train stations as it’s a bit out of the way

It is an amazing place for vacation. Surroundings and nature around the hotel are breathtaking. Very nice and cosy room and large bathroom. Breakfast was great, wide selection of food. Stuff was very nice. I recommend this place for vacation.
