mine specifically was located to the front of the building so it was nice in terms of view and having the sun there making it very bright. the toilet was a good size as well the shower.

my room was very small even though I was alone, and also I could hear the pipes just above me everytime they would use the toilet, so at night it would wake me up sometimes because it was very noisy, no sockets at a reachable distance that I could use to use the kettle or coffee machine or even to charge my phone, room very compact, not much space to move around, small wardrobe.

Double bed in room 301 much better than the beds in 101 and 601. Meals were well presented and all restaurant staff were very pleasant and helpful. The main person that ensured we had a good break was Jelle Cossee. He really went out of his way to get us more variety on the menu as we were staying there for 10 nights. Having only reopened two weeks ago there was only a small menu and the new menu was not expected until after we left. The chefs were excellent in cooking and presentation of the food. When we were served by Jelle we were always offered above and beyond what was on the menu but at the same time he certainly did a good job for the hotel by upselling food and drinks. He also translated the menu into english for us.

Nothing was in English and we did not get told anything about how things worked ie bedroom key would have given us access to side door. We only had one night when we were out till 10.30 p.m. but fortunately the front door was open. We were not aware till the last day (Thursday 10th Feb.) that there were snacks available. Lack of information

The breakfast was quite good. It consisted of a buffet with pastries, breads, cheeses, etc. There were also scrambled eggs and some sort o bacon. The rooms had a great view and was reasonably quiet. The bed was quite comfortable, even for a tall person. The personnel was very friendly and they spoke English very well

The room was not very big, but it was definitely big enough to just stay by night. If you need to work from there or stay a long time it will probably feel cramped. The hotel is located 20 minutes walk away from Leeuwarden's center. You can also take a bus, but the walk is quite nice. There were a few small details in the room with minor things that were in disrepair, such as a missing cap in a faucet here, a broken secondary lever for ventilation or a loose screw, but all of them very minor things. They probably never fixed these because they are hard to notice and unimportant enough that nobody cared to report it.

The room had everything in it what you need including a fan which was wonderful. The bathroom was outdated but everything worked so no problem for me. The room itself was good and well furnished. The mattresses on the bed were maybe a bit too soft to my liking even though I got enough sleep. Breakfast was excellent and the staff is just wonderful.

Mattresses were too soft (to my liking). The rooms are very noisy but then again if everybody is sleeping it is okay :)

Excellent location for visiting the town of Leeuwarden and the region. Excellent food, fabulous staff, plus a secure garage for our motorcycles.

Air conditioning in the room would have made it better as we were in a room with sun in the afternoon during a hot spell

Our room was on the 7th floor and was very hot. Although the hotel provided us with a van on the ceiling and a standing one is was still so very very hot. It gave me a headache. It was suffacating.

It was totally safe to eat at the hotel. I have Gluten, lactose and seafood allergy. We could rent bikes.

We could have used a frigde at our room.... Booking had written that we need to werer mask because of the Covid, but that was not right..

Good location not too far from the city center. Large windows with a great view of the Europaplein. Great breakfast buffet.

Lift and funiture a bit old-fashioned. Sounds of TV from other room audible.

The room was clean and comfortable. The restaurant was excellent

The only thing was that the door to the bathroom was difficult to close sometimes but that was it

A bit noisy near the traffic round about. Dated interior. Slightly cigarette smoky smell in halls. Works for a one night stay.
