Communication with staff was very easy, They provided a safe place to store my bike and a place to charge it. Room was ok, nothing fancy until I discovered there was actually an AC in the room which was very convenient with temperatures rising above 30 C Breakfast was good in a nice room. Value for money can't be beaten this time of year (especially with the AC :-)).

helpful staff, helped me by facilitating my checkin: as I had to arrive late and leave early - therefore I did not have breakfast so do not know how that was/would have been.

Room was a bit on the cold side when I arrived, but I like this when sleeping and was nice and clean with good facilities

The hotel is very lovely, the room was big and very comfortable. The bed was small but perfectly nice. I had to leave very early so I didn't have a chance to stay for breakfast. I booked this hotel because I was having trouble getting a place near Wageningen and its a very short ride away if you need to stay in the area and 5 minutes away from the train station which is very convenient. I was there for work, but the place looked very beautiful and I think it would be a great location to host a party for an event like a wedding.

The reservation of the room and the payment was done without any troubles. Furthermore the staff provided all the information regarding the rooms, services and rules related to the hotel at the front desk at the first checking. The staff was also accomodating to any changes made during the stay, as well as allowing check out that tailored my time schedule.

Breakfast was great with glutenfree buns which were served so fast. Loved the cheese varieties and the rich buffet offer. Room were nice and clean with a incredible reading queen kind chair.

The room was very clean. The bathroom was designed nicely. The bed was too soft for me at the first glance, but to my surprise I had a very good sleep. I also used the free sauna in the hallway, which was very relaxing. The view to the outside was nice and calm as well. The fact that there were frequent weddings at the hotel, without making noise, was actually exciting for me.

I think including some flip-flops in the rooms is a good idea. Also, the toilet seat is a bit high for short people. I had not much problem with it though.

Very comfy room with good quality cotton linens, wool blankets and good pillows. Stable wifi, a massive radiator I could control and a large bathroom with good shower. Not super keen on the wetroom style because everything tends to get wet, but a big squeegee was provided and its all manageable. Parking on site, right in front, Beautiful historic building with loads of gorgeous original features such as brass arts and crafts lighting, carved oak panelling, stained glass, etc. Quiet residential area means you get a good sleep. Really a very very nice place for such an economical rate. Friendly service too.

Wet room as described above but really that can't be much of a detractor. Great place.

The staff were friendly and very helpful. Great parking space and close to shops and cafes.

It was my second time staying at Hugo de Vries. Like the last time, the staff were super nice and helpful. I really like that the key opens the side door, which is closer to the rooms.

All was good compared to my expectations.
