Herberg de Lingehoeve was a lovely place to stay. Located in a quiet, idyllic location not far from Leerdam, the inn is a tastefully restored and furnished former farmhouse with a thatched roof. The thatch is visible on the inside of the room. We awoke to the call of the cuckoo. Breakfast, which was included in the room price, took the form of a well stocked buffet, with orange juice and bean-to-cup coffee (or tea) and freshly baked homemade wholemeal an white bread. The dining room had the same charm as the rest of the premises. The restaurant is also open for afternoon tea, including with vegetarian or health-conscious options and I believe the venue is also available for events such as weddings. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We only stayed for one night on our cycling tour of the Netherlands (there is a locked shed for cyclists to leave their bikes and charging facilities for e-bikes; electric and non-electric bikes and scooters can also be hired), but would love to return for a longer stay. “Een echte aanrader”

There was nothing we didn’t like, but the rooms are accessed by quite a steep staircase which might be a problem for those with limited mobility.

The scenery, and the place where you could have breakfast was perfect. I didn't use the restaurant, but it looked really good. I would have loved to eat there or drink something. The woman that was downstairs during breakfast was so very friendly and easy to speak with.

I would have loved breakfast to stat 15 minutes earlier at 8:15. Probably it would have been possible if I had asked.

Beautiful place to stay, with great nature around. Breakfast was great, and they accommodated for our vegan request veri kindly. Lovely area which we didn't know and were very happy to discover.

Check-out is a bit too early. It would be nice to be more relaxed on your departure day.

The stairs to the rooms are very steep, the common bathroom smelled badly when the fan wasn’t turned on, the food in the restaurant wasn’t good for its price

Bed was waaaay to soft, after 2 nights our backs were hurting. Insufficient lighting in the room. No wastepaper baskets in the room ( only one of these annoying tiny pedal bins in the bathroom)

Amazing room in a picturesque part of the countryside. Wished we stayed longer to explore the area more. Next time. Lovely staff and delicious breakfast.

The building is beautiful and the whole area is beautiful; it's close to the river and superb for walking. The terrace was an added bonus and my father (the guest) was very contented.

Hotel is in a beautiful place, about 8 min with bike to Leerdam. Rooms are nice and quietly. Included breakfast is good, nice old kitchen:)

Nothing to eat at night close by on Tuesday. We could only order fast food but they seems to have a really good restaurant at the house from Wednesday to Sunday .
