Beautiful hotel with vintage furniture and gorgeous wood accents. My room was lovely, with a big bathroom and a desk with a kettle and a nespresso machine, as well as a great view to the street. Quick walk to lots of restaurants and cafes. I was here for two nights while visiting clients nearby so it was a great place to relax in when not working.

The TV randomly turned on during the night, emitting a loud beeping noise, like an alarm had been set. Not sure how it happened since I hadn't touched the remote but I panicked for a bit since the sound was loud and I was worried other guests woke up. Not a problem just a little "creepy" experience haha!

The bedroom was spacious and the ensuite bathroom clean. Free car parking just behind the hotel. The mainline station with connections to other towns and cities in Holland was only a 15 minutes walk. The owners and staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Ample breakfast. Just a few minutes walk to restaurants and bars.

The extractor fan in the bathroom did not appear to be working

A nice, comfortable room with a view of the church. My bathroom had a bath tub!! Wifi worked well. The room had a tv and a wardrobe. Although the breakfast buffet looked very small, it served almost everything I usually find at Dutch hotels. There were 3 types of bread and no crackers or "beschuitjes". Boiled egg was made to order. There was also fresh fruit including strawberries, even though it was early October, lovely! There was no warm food.

Fabulous staff who really cared about their guests comfort and experience. Great secure bicycle storage. Good breakfast. Rooms were generally comfortable and had a bath! Openable windows for fresh air. An in-hotel bar for evening drinks in a comfortable reception area. Nicely decorated with interesting artwork.

The bed mattress is very worn and a bit uncomfortable. Although it wasn’t a big deal and I’d definitely stay again.

This is not another franchized and anonymous hotel ! This hotel has an old school vibe to it - and I mean that in a good way. The rooms are comfy and the hotel adequately placed in Roosendaal city center. In a calm location, I enjoyed Roosendaal's carillon during the day and absolute silence at night. Special mention for the lovely and attentive staff, who made my stay feel like home. Additional point : the free parking next door is very convenient.

Of course, you can always ask for more : a gym, a Chromecast on the TVs... but frankly this would be nitpicking.

Staff is warmly and gentle I felt like at home

About cleaning I would ask to clean more the room (dust and stain on the carpet) and cleaning more the bathroom, around the w.c. . Also I have had an issue with water coming out the bath/shower that no one fixed it, while I was there. With all of this fixed my stay it could be a 10 points.

The hotel is in the town centre within walking distance of the station. Lots of choice for eating out. For reasons of leaving early, did not take breakfast.

Not something one can change but proximity to the town centre means it can be noisy outside in the evening. I was woken up ay 01h00 by some stupid person starting up a very noisy motorbike.

We were warmly welcomed by owners Kees and Anna. Very tired from bicycling there, he helped us carry our bags up to our beautiful corner room. Very comfortable beds and lovely bathtub. Breakfast was very good - with lots of fresh fruit and omelette. Highly recommend!
