This privately owned hotel is small and charming. The owners are very kind and mindful. It's nicely located directly behind the dunes. Therefore well protected against the wind but close to the fantastic wide and long beach. Parking places directly beside the hotel is provided. Our room was small but big enough and beautifully decorated. We rarely experienced better beds in any hotel. The room is good for couples. The bathroom is modern and comfortable. Since it is open to the room it might be annoying for some people. Nice sitting options in the small lobby and outdoors. Great choice if you don't like anonymous hotel chains.

The toilet could have been a bit bigger.

The location was great Wijk Aan Zee is a lovely little village by the sea. The property had the Same vide and the areas. The breakfast was great and good value for money too.

The two single beds together kept slipping maybe a clip to keep them together would be needed but other than that it was good.

The room was very comfortable, a large bed and window's that could be opened and a small closet to put our stuff into. It even had a tv, which we had overlooked and we were happily surprised by. The hotel was close to the sea, which made for lovely trips to the beach in the afternoon.

The double bed was made out of two separate beds, often during our stay the two beds would drift apart. It was somewhat uncomfortable having to mind the gap.

The hotel is a lovely old building with lots of caricature. Very close to the restaurants and beach. Breakfast was plentiful and constantly replenished.

Only minor issue was that the lift was broken.

Lovely hotel, full of character and charm. The location was ideal, very near the beach. The breakfast was excellent - fresh, tasty and good value -for-money. The people are very friendly and chatty.

The location is great, perfect for walks on the beach and in the dunes. The hosts were friendly and very easy-going - we could order dinner and eat it at the breakfast room. The rooms have a cosy atmosphere, tea making facilities and were cleaned every day (also towels changed). Breakfast was very good with a nice variety of food on the buffet which was replenished regularly.

It's an older property with wooden floors so noise isolation is a weakness. We heard people above us walking and the dogs next room so I would advise for earplugs if you have a light sleep. Also: keep in mind that this property allows pets. I think half of the guests during our stay had dogs with them and unfortunately we had a rather loud (if tiny) specimen next door. Last but not least: the Covid rules were taken rather losely when it comes to wearing masks. While this is a great relief for some people, other - more cautious - guests may feel uncomforable.

Overall very friendly staff, original vintage style buildung in great shape, highly confortable beds and clean rooms. Hotel parking for free. Great coffee! The short distance to the beach is excellent, Wijk is a cozy holiday place with cute streets and friendly people. Going to visit again!

If the hotel is fully booked the available parking spaces might get a bit few, but like 100meters away are other free public parking, so thats okay. Great breakfast, would wish for a bit more fruits.

The hotel is very nice and warm. The owner was super friendly and helpful. We had breakfast which was good value for money. The beds were really comfortable.

Cosy, nicely located close to the beach and the old part of town. Good parking facilities right next to the hotel. Super friendly owner!
