We liked everything, which is rare for a travel experience as we have many places to compare it with. First of all, Gabrielle (the host) is incredible as a person, and we had a great time just chatting with her. Secondly, she maintains not only the BnB itself in excellent condition but also a workshop for crafts, a tea garden that doubles as an outdoor café, a small cozy antique/crafts shop, and, as a bonus, a very well-maintained decorative chicken coop with some very cuddly chickens. Crucial to mention that we had a private zone attached to the BnB, and the rest of the facilities did not interfere with our space. Thirdly, the handmade breakfast Gabrielle prepares is something to die for—I can't remember many high class hotels offering this level of variety and serving it so well. We couldn't finish most of it, so it also served as brunch to go for us. Last but not least, the atmosphere at the BnB is incredibly relaxing, and we wish we had taken some extra time just to hang out there, use the sauna, and chill both inside and outside. Thanks, Gabrielle! You will definitely see us again!

The accommodation is in a nice quiet area, very easy to reach by train. There are two stations close by, 10-15 min. walk. Two supermarkets (Lidl and Aldi) are just next door. It is a walkable distance to Zaanse Schans, around 35 minutes. Gabrielle, the hostess is a lovely person and made us feel very wellcome! She brought us an amazing, delicios, huge breakfast every morning. There was enough food to eat later on. The accommodation has a garden with chairs ans sunbeds and a great finnish "tynnyrisauna" :) There are also hamam towels and bathrobes to use for sauna. You have coffee and versitile selection of teas to enjoy anytime. I can higly recommend this accommodation and if we get back to the Netherlands, we will definetly stay again at Gabrielle´s!

Nothing negative!

We loved the friendlyness, the super cozy flat, the sauna and the very convenient transport options. The bus stop is just a few minutes walk away and the next train station is also not far. The bus is coming in a 10-15min rhythm and brings you directly to the centre of Amsterdam. Also you have Aldi and Lidl next to you and an Albert Hein in 15min walking distance. We also especially loved the breakfast. It was a lot and we always received a sandwich with it, so we could pack something for lunch while out sightseeing. It always comes with fresh fruits and vegetables and a nice smoothie, as well as some snacks. With the flat comes also some space in the garden with a barbecue, which is probably amazing for warmer days. In conclusion we say that we loved everything.

We can't think of anything and should be we come back to Amsterdam, we will definitely stay here again.

The room was sizable enough to be able to spend an enjoyable day indoors - a very homey feel. The sauna is a great change to the standard... Especially nice in the winter months. Breakfast was fantastic.. more than enough food!! The host was very pleasant and accommodating

Everything was perfect and Gabrielle the host was so kind to us. We loved our stay and. The room, the garden, and especially the breakfast were highlights. It's a great location with 2 supermarkets 2-4 minutes by walk. The room was well equipped as well as the garden. We would recommend this to anyone who wants a relaxed vacation. Gabrielle was kind enough to show their tea garden and we had nice chats. It was a perfect holiday.

We loved this apartment, it was just as seen on pictures. Gabrielle takes care of each detail, there is shampoo & gel provided, a ton of towels and even face lotion for the cold weather. The kitchen is packed with tea and coffee and has everything you need. Its located next to a big supermarket, so you can get food anytime. The center is about 2km away so you will have to walk a bit or take a bus, but for us it was absolutely fine. The bus stop is just 1 min away too. The carefully prepared breakfast was the highlight of each day :) We are good eaters, but even we had some leftovers. You can see the love and dedication, Gabrielle puts into hosting her guests. Whenever we had questions she would help us out, it was all over a very warm and loving connection we had with her & we will for sure be back!

The bed was very soft, we prefer hard beds, so it was not ideal for us. But even so it was very cozy!! Also we had some problems with sleeping sometimes due to the outside lights and the thermostat which made a weird ´klick` sound. As we do also work in the tourism branch, the only improvements i would recommend would be darker courtains and some hooks in the bathroom for the wet towels. Other than that, we were very happy with choosing this Apartment for our stay.

Gabrielle was a fantastic host. She warmly welcomed us and provided recommendations of sites to visit and places to eat. The breakfast was delicious and varied. The private garden was a lovely place to relax and enjoy a glass of wine or a cup of tea. We really enjoyed our time and would definitely go back!

Breakfast was unbelievable, delicious and plentyful. The studio was stylish and comfy and the icing on the cake was Gabriella, she was so kind, warm and generous with her hospitality.

Everything was perfect! The room is large, clean, cozy, beautifully decorated. Breakfasts are delicious! A huge heartfelt thank you to the hostess for her efforts, hard work and care!

The room is spacious with an area to sit and watch TV, a dining area, and a kitchenette. Every effort is made to make you (the guest) feel at home. Breakfast is served in the room. There is more than enough food for two people. We had a lovely stay. Thank you1
