The hotel's location is the VERY BEST in town if you expect beach. Across a road with some acceptable traffic is the local nice beach where you find life. Hotel has a separated baby /kids pool - pools are clean. Staff is so far friendly and helpful - very ok. Rooms are spacious and the sea view was really nice in 6.7..th floor. Specially the premium rooms are very large, having a round bath tube...amazing :-) very fund. Rooms are equiped with a microwave, water cooker, little fridge.

Honestly... the hotel came just pretty much into its years. some maintenance is urgently recommended. Receptons desk needs to be painted, plastering of the walls needs some repair. quite some small small things summing up and leaving an impression of an old building. Breakfast is not included and pretty expensive in the attached restaurant. Wifi is called "included" but not true. It's only a some MB free access - and after that one has to pay. Such money making appears outdated for today's expectation about people living in WWW.

I hope this review helps someone in the future looking at this property, as the number of mixed reviews on Bookings made it difficult for me to know when I was searching whether a stay at Nouvata would be worth it. However, I would definitely say I made the right choice of booking at Nouvata. I preface this by saying I stayed in the Premium room located in the main hotel complex. First off, you should read the hotel and room details on the website well. The budget rooms are indeed cheaper, but they are found a 5 min walk away from the main hotel. The premium and comfort rooms are in the main hotel. Don't know what the rooms are like but they look fine from the outside and are very close to the main hotel. INTERNET IS FREE, FAST, AND GOOD NETWORK (up until ~30 GB a day) - if you are using more than 30 GB then maybe buy an unlimited data package portable wifi. Room is great - comfortable beds and pillows. Not a 5-star hotel quality, but perfectly fine for myself and my family. The hotel provided a crib which was great. THE AIRCONDITIONER SYSTEM WORKS FINE! Try adjusting the modes first before you make any complaints! If you really have any problems with the air conditioner of course call the front desk - but our experience of the air conditioner system is just fine! The Avis/Budget office can be found right outside the hotel's beach front entrance. We booked a car right from the office and were able to use the hotel's free parking in their private lot.

The hotel doesn't provide any vanity kits or soap. There is a dispenser for body wash in the premium room. However, that's all fine! Just be prepared to bring your own amenities. We didn't have the hotel breakfast buffet as it was a bit pricey, but there are loads of boulangeries and cafes nearby. The hotel didn't get back to us in time to help us with an airport shuttle booking, but for EUR 26 works out slightly cheaper than arc en ciel so best to call the hotel to help

Nice pool, great location easy to walk to everything. The room was exactly to be expected from a 3 star hotel, it was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. We stayed in a standard room which really helped having the mini kitchen with the price of meals in Noumea. The reception was friendly when we had questions on buses and how to get to places. Never had any issue with the wifi like lots of the reviews. We used it morning and evening to check messages and it never ran out.

The aircon wouldn’t go below 26 degrees which might be ok for some but the maintenance guy told us it would just take a few hours and then never came back and it wouldn’t go below that. The main pool could definitely do with more sun loungers during peak time we ended up sunbathing at the kids pool a few times. Didn’t try the restaurant at all as the prices were extremely high

The studio appartment was exactly what we needed as a family. We didn’t need a room too big as it was mostly a place to rest, but was very comfortable. The room had a long desk attached to the wall, which made it practical for my wife to do her online studies. Another thing I liked was that they had a small sink to wash your cups and cuttlery, a bigger bar fridge than the ones found in the more expensive rooms and a big shelf made out of wooden cubes, making it easy for you to store your luggage or shopping. The bathroom was simple, clean and had one toilet, shower and sink. The hotel is also close to the beach of Anse Vata and surrounding restaurants, making it an excellent location for those not familiar with the area.

I wouldn’t say this is something I dislike but used to in New Caledonia, but don’t expect the same service you’d receive in prime touristic locations. When you request something such as a toilet brush from the reception, you will need to pick it up yourself. Otherwise, I found the staff very pleasant and helpful whenever they could assist.

a few maintenance items - toilet seat lost screw, safe wouldn't unlock, tap loose. Annoying recessed power points! Our adapter wouldn't fit, but an Australian pattern outlet was provided. Very very slippery tiles in the shower. Shampoo provided but liquid soap dispenser missing.

We stayed in the budget building which was beach front away from the main nouvata hotel. We liked being able to come and go and not having to walk through the hotel every time. The balcony was great with sea views, as the room was small. Cleaning crew came every day with fresh towels which we appreciated. The beds were comfortable. Pillows were good quality. Sheets were clean and soft.

No plates, utensils or glasses. Only coffee cups with 2 teaspoons. No hairdryer. No shampoo or conditioner. Only body wash. Supplied were 3 coffee packets, 3 teabags and 3 creamer packets and 3 sugar packets. Music was blaring from the main hotel every night until 2am.

The hotel was clean, the staff was very helpful and friendly, and the location is pretty good.

There is wifi available but they limit it. Once it runs out you have to wait for it to renew. It was not nearly enough. I think I sent a couple of messages back and forth with family, and posted one story on social media and then it was gone. Not really an issue, but the hotel could use a bit of an upgrade. The rooms were a bit spartan, and the lock for the bathroom was faulty. A friend got herself locked in it, and we had to get the front desk to come get her out.

I like the location, very central, convenient and by the amazing beach. Beautiful location. The room was alright too, value for money.

I chose to be accommodated in the budget rooms. Only 2 things that I think needs improvement on: 1. Add a few English channels to the TV Channel List 2. Have another little bin in the room itself, just one provided in the bathroom is alright but not too okay for food rubbish or so.

Perfect location. Easy access to beach, restaurants and walk track. Parking space available most of the time. Staff friendly and helpful. I have tried all types of room and there is one for every budget and stay.

Internet is not good, Need to purchase extra pack but still up and down. There was a big party one night in the event room, parking was full, and no space for the customer of the hotel. Had to park at 22pm in a small street behind the Anse Vata complex and walk back to the hotel with a departure the next day @4am, was not really nice.
