The rooms were clean and tidy and perfect for our reason for staying, very appreciative for management allowing us to check in an hour early. Our rooms weren’t ready but moved us into two other rooms that were already cleaned Top class and excellent customer service to make that work for us that had travelled from Wellington.

After our first night we returned back to room at 10pm and we didn’t have clean towels for the 2nd day

The availability of the garage food etc Room was super clean great value for money.Easy check in Carboot sale on the Sat nice and quiet with seating nice when the suns out.Super clean

Floors were slippery and then I remembered the last time we stayed there they were then also.Maybe revisit the cleaning solution used but otherwise great cleaners

The location was good for the event I was attending. This is the second time I have stayed at the Furlong for this Annual event and the location, cleanliness and comfort were very good.

It is a little confusing when checking as there is no reception now, just the collecting of the key at the convenience store at the front by the petrol pumps.

Reception was attended although I was early, collecting keys was quick. The staff member offered to help get international/NZ time on my phone and set up the Furlong wifi for me. I hadnt managed it for 2 days. The bed was comfortable with electric blankets. Efficient heater & high pressure shower even made me laugh out loud, but floor stayed dry. The adjoining convenience store and petrol made it easy to grab a bite too. The space and lawn was quite lovely I wish I could have relaxed there even more than I managed - will be nice in warmer weather especially.

Nice and clean

When you walk into your front door .you need a mat on the tiles. It was raining the day I arrived and I got mud just as you walk in .Also the spelting is broken just above the front door which mate it wet and muddy. And just so you know the tap in the kitchen moves just letting you know 😉

Clean, nice bedroom and bathroom. Bed was comfortable, heat pump in the room was great too

Only thing, the internet mobile service for 2 degrees is quite bad and the wifi was poor too. Probably cause we were in a far unit. The TV was an older one, only had standard channels avail but bang for your buck

Location was good once we got our bearings.We found that there were not a lot of street signs. And just about drove past the motel. We then worked out, that we had to go to the petrol station, for the reception desk.

It was all good once we settled in. We would defintley stay again.

The bathroom facilities were incredible and clean! The shower pressure and heat amazing. Nice soft spongy towels. And Quiet.

The bed was hard and uncomfortable, the pillows flat and hard and only had 2 available, and no blankets on the bed. Only a sheet and the bed coveral. No milk? Thats strange.

I really like the place have stayed there a few times and really enjoyed it. And would go back again.

The kitchen in room 21 had no bench in it and where you had to make your coffee and do things was to small. The shower had a curtain and it kept blowing on you when you showed. But at saying this I do know they are doing the rooms up. And some of the lights didn’t work. But I still would go back there.

It was 11am on our last night and guests were booked into the room next to us, even though facility was somewhat empty. They were very very loud and walking around outside and talking loudly till about 1/2am . But no way a reflection of the motel. Just disrespectful people staying there
