Absolute top tier hotel in Granada. Excellent location, just next to the central park. Very close to the main attractions. The staff and service are excellent as well, and they have no problem with English. The patio is very nice, i love the pool and sitting places. The room is large and well equipped, very clean and hot water is sufficient for shower (really rare in Nicaragua). After all it is perfect for a vocation in Granada. The breakfast is also good.

In the morning, you may be waked up by other guests’ talking and the service trolley if your room is on the 1st floor.

Very nice hotel in central park. The staff was very helpful and professional, especially Carlos. We felt safe and they always had security at the main entrance. Parking around the corner in a secured lot was convenient. The room was very clean and beds were amazing. We look forward to our next stay at this hotel.

The location has its pros and cons. The only con i can think of is that when you walk out there is always someone waiting to sell you something. The security does a good job of minimizing this as much as possible.

The hotel employees made us feel safe and exceeded our expectations. They recommended places for us to visit and even had an employee escort us to a location to exchange money. The bartender stayed open longer for us and let us know if we needed any drinks before he closed. The breakfast was great and the employees were very attentive with coffee and any other thing we would need.

Its a main busy street and there was loud music playing late at night which the hotel had no control over.

One the best hotels we stayed in in Central America! The hotel is absolutely gorgeous, beautiful palm trees, tranquil pool area, the decor was like an old colonial mansion. The staff are super friendly and so helpful with anything you need. The rooms are large, very clean, spacious, super comfy beds, great a/c, strong wifi for work, and the showers had awesome pressure and great hot water. Breakfast spread was so good. And the location is right in the middle of the central park and walkable to all the main attractions. Highly recommend!

The room was big, clean, air conditioning really cold, the beds very comfortable, the sheets really comfy. Everything in the room was excellent. The breakfast in the morning super good. Carlos was very helpful in making sure everything we needed. If you need a taxi ask Carlos. The rest of the staff very helpful very good customer service and respectful. I recommend hotel plaza colon for your stay. Next time I am in granada i will definetly stay at this hotel.

This was a great location and hotel plus amazing staff made for an enjoyable and memorable stay. With this being my wife’s first visit to Nicaragua, the combination of everything was a home run in terms of making her want to return. Everyone was very welcoming, kind, helpful and professional. If I could have it 100% my way all the time I’d extend pool hours to 10pm and offer a little more firmness in the bed mattress. Otherwise this place was perfect!

The hotel exuded a mix between colonial and modern. The room was clean and had modern touches. Excellent AC and comfortable bed. Breakfast was good with made-to-order omelets and other hot/cold foods. Location was perfect!

WiFi was hit or miss inside the room.

The property is centrally located to the main Square, which is near a lot of vendors and restaurants. There was a nice cozy lobby. Water was made available! The pool was fantastic!

Breakfast wasn’t the best, but we weren’t really looking forward to that. Also, our AC Unit wasn’t functioning properly so that was a definite issue with the heat and humidity!!!

a bit noisy at night (on the left side) because of loud music coming from the bar across the street. try to get a room on the right side. also the shower wasn’t always hot but I didn’t mind after walking outside in the heat.

The breakfast was delicious, the staff was friendly and professional.

The room had a very strong smell, we had to open the door/window to ventilate. My son and wife mentioned the same problem. The air fresheners they used to mask a smell were overpowering.
