One of few modern approaches when it comes down to sustainability and ease of access to equipment provided. I can't promote more than a review that TV had exposed HDMI port, all other deprecated hotels should learn from this one, such a simple commodity is top notch in my eyes. With additional tips such as turning off tap water while you are brushing your teeth reeks of care for the environment. The receptionist was lovely and made us feel welcome on arrival. We did not expect comfort in such a remote place, yet we got it. Also it was quite quiet, no door slamming of other guests could have heard.

The parking lot could have markings of some sort, everybody park as they fit and not always properly.

From the moment we arrived in Honningsvag we knew it would be an amazing place to visit. The reasons we were there were twofold. To visit Nordkapp and a place to stay before we joined our cruise. We chose the Scandic Bryggen and from the moment we arrived we were very pleasantly impressed. The staff are all so cheerful and welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble. They dont try to push or upsell anything. Any questions were answered in depth and with no bias towards the property which seems to be getting rarer these days. The room was spacious with all the expected amenities. The only thing missing was a kettle. We later learned that they were available on request at the reception. The bed was lovely and comfortable. The bathroom was very smart with underfloor heating. The view was fantastic. I honestly can't find a negative word about the room. Breakfast was simply delicious. A wide choice of cooked and cold food. Sweets and bread. I have seen many reviews recommending the breakfast and I must also join them in my high praise. Also if as us you have to check out before breakfast you will receive a very generous breakfast box. Just make sure you preorder this when you check in. I cant not praise the Scandic Bryggen enough. From our first to last moment with them it was a pleasure for us.

To be honest there only thing I could find fault with is the fact there is no kettle in the room but in hindsight coffee and hot drinks are offered in the reception free of charge. Maybe it's an eco move to reduce use of electricity. On our final evening the drinks machine had issues and we were immediately given a kettle. Absolutely no other negatives. A fantastic stay at a fantastic hotel. Thank you Scandic Bryggen. We shall return one day.

I really enjoyed my stay at Scandic Bryggen. The hotel is located right in the harbour, a view of which we could also enjoy through a huge window in our room. The room was very nicely furnished, with a comfy armchair and a bed with big pillows and a warm duvet. The personnel was very friendly too - they helped us to prepare breakfast boxes when we needed to leave early in the morning for a ferry. The hotel is managed in a sustainable way and I could definitely feel it - a big plus from me!

There is nothing to complain about, but a kettle would be handy, to enjoy the nice view with a cup of tea in hands :)

A comfortable, good-quality stay in the center of the small Norwegian fisher town of Honningsvåg in Nordkapp. Surrounded by breathtakingly beautiful sceneries of the island and easy access to the North Cape by car or even public transport. The room and the service were good as you would expect from a Scandic location. Also the breakfast was excellent as per usual Scandic standards.

The price of the room at least at the time of our particular stay was quite high compared to what the same level of accomodation would typically be, probably due to it being more or less during a tourist season.

This hotel is at the best possible location in Honningsvåg - 40 mins away from Nordkapp. Room was spacious and the view was breathtaking. The staff was really nice and helpful, and the breakfast was _awesome_! There was everything we wanted and then some (also glutein-free options). We requested for a room with sauna, and actually got it. It was super! It's good to know there's no daily room clean-up service on weekends, but you'll get fresh towels etc from the reception. Overall we were very pleased and I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Honningsvåg and/or Nordkapp.

Only minor troubles; there wasn't hair dryer in the bathroom, but I bet I would've got one from the reception if I have asked. Also there's no really air conditioning and room smelled stuffy everytime we got back in - just opened the windows. What I've heard it's more like a common problem amongst the Norwegian building construction.

Nice and delicious breakfast . Nice location and the room was quite big and warm . Very helpful staffs. I would like a write a compliment for 3 staffs in the reception , the lady from Portugal and the the gentleman from Bergen. Both of them are very helpful and gave me a lot of helps and tips during the stay . The Chef was also perfect , she gave us 4 boxes to take some breakfast with us because we checked out early 3:00am in the morning . Many Many thanks to these three perfect staffs they really show the profession and the high qualities services of Sandic group .

The only thing I felt upset was the reciption lady during 14-12-2021 , 8:45- 9:45 am in the morning . I don't have her name , but she blamed the chef that gave us too many breakfast box for taking away ( We check out early morning after day but the restaurant was not open , so we had an agreement earlier with the hotel to take some foods away ) , and blame me why I took so many foods , but exactly we didn't , I took 2 boxes with fruits and 1 box of proteins and left 1 box for free. She said to me that the food is for breakfast not for lunch . BUT 3 small boxes for 2 people with 85KG and 67KG weight was too much ??? She blamed us while the other staffs and the guests was there as well , it flet like we were stealing foods from Scandic hotel . .. REALLY REALLY

We were for 3 nights as part of a trip and visiting friends who live in a village in a small house near the city. The hotel is very pleasant. Excellent breakfast! The room is clean and pleasant. We had a great time

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Fantastic breakfast. Good position on the water, easy walking distance to all parts of town.

Very comfortable bed, good breakfast, hotel at the harbor with good view, OK WIFI, good location to rest before continuing the journey to Nord Kapp (North Cape). Parking next to the hotel.

It did not have in house restaurant for dinner but there are options nearby. Just a bit of an extra effort to go out again after very long drive for us. Price is OK-ish considering being in Norway and remote location (45min to North Cape).
