I liked absolutely every single thing: the environment full of nature and water, the cozy room, the wooden hall, the outdoor terraces with astonishing views, the restaurant, and of course the Spa area with floating saunas and jacuzzi. Everything is carefully chosen for Visitors' well-being. It was a pleasure to be here!

Something I don't like is the mattress, but it is a common feature to Norway as a country in general. I have been in several hotels and all of the mattresses are too soft that you sink on them and either my husband and I end up with a backache.

Excellent breakfast, excellent dinner, satisfactory choice of beers at the bar, very nice room with comfortable beds, lovely surroundings, plenty of parking space.

Our only regret was the weather because it rained the whole time 🙁

Great breakfast spread. Everything you could possibly want. Location at a ski resort in the summer was fine, as it wasn't as crowded as during ski season. Still plenty of hiking and outdoor opportunities for outdoors folks, with nice amenitities for those not so much into hiking such as indoor pool, sauna, frisbee golf, paddle ball, playground for kids. Staff was exceptionally helpful.

It was one of the best hotels we've ever stayed at. Amazing breakfast. It is surrounded by beautiful nature and offers maximum comfort. We enjoyed our stay at this hotel very much.

The restaurant and common spaces are beautiful, the staff are warm and welcoming, the food was great, and the water pressure in the shower was luxurious.

I'd rate this stay excellent other than the fact that my pillow was so flat I ended up sleeping on the folded up comforter instead. It would also be really wonderful if a fan was available in the room since the AC controls are limited.

The resort was absolutely beautiful! The rooms were clean, the staff was helpful and nice, the view was gorgeous, and there was a full spread at breakfast. There was plenty of parking available. I would highly recommend staying here!

Lots of space and areas to chill. Staff were excellent

Our room was noisy as had a drain pipe from other rooms running next to it so woke us during the night. Plus disappointed with breakfast coffee as couldn’t get a hot drink

The hotel is gorgeous, comfy, and is a great place to hangout as it had a cool bar and shuffle board room. I also enjoyed the spa. The EV charging was a nice touch, too.

Large hotel in the mountains with great view of Gaustatoppen. Large and clean room, and very good breakfast. At the reception we could get coffee and tea for free. We stayed here only for 1 night and were not able to check out the spa facilities.

It is a pity you cannot make a reservation for a car charger. It is first come, first served. We were obviously too late, and had to drive back to Rjukan (16 km) to charge the car. If reservations are allowed, people know up front whether it is possible to charge at the hotel or not. Minor issue, but it would help drivers of an electric car, as the hotel is quite isolated.

Public areas beautifully furnished in modern design. Amazing setting and vue of the mountain. Fantastic food and bar.

Rooms were a bit tired, but I think about to be referbed? Air handling was minimal, and a bit suffy.
