I would highly recommend this hotel for families as there are plenty of activities for kids, a modern gym facility, and the convenience of having paddle tennis on the resort property. Additionally, its location is perfect for exploring all the nearby attractions and the staff is exceptional at providing recommendations for places to visit and dine. Agreed, the room could use some updating but overall, this hotel is a great choice for families. The staff is friendly and the amenities are top-notch.

The staff were friendly and accommodating. We went for a family vacation and celebrated my wife's birthday on our trip. The hotel made her day extra special with their personalised touch. The hotel is conveniently located near the beach and near the Frankincense Museum. It was a family friendly hotel in the sense that it had a play area for children indoors and outdoors. There was always a lifeguard available in the pool area. Furthermore, the hotel also had gift shops and a tour operator in the lower level which was convenient for organising sightseeing tours.

I have no complaints about my experience or the hotel. It has met my family's needs.

Our 1st time in Oman. We have spent beautiful & relaxed week in this wonderful hotel with perfect services, professional and supporrive staff. Every single Crowne team member went above and beyond to en-sure our stay was not only enjoyable but truly unforgettable. Congratulation to such employees! Greetings to Rowena who took great care of us during breakfast. The beach is calm here, not crowded at all, sand soft, ocean clear and warm. We wish to come back.

Nice welcome, staff friendly. Lobby area has beautiful ceiling artwork. The overall design is dated but beautiful done. The Beach house is a lovely modern addition to the hotel. It has lovely views and nice location for breakfast. Nice spa attached to the hotel. Great location.

The property is tired and needs upgrading. We visited this hotel out of season. The hotel didn’t have many visitors. Breakfast was average, could have been improved with variety. Quality of meals was below par.

In general, the room was good. However, the bathroom is too small. The shower curtain was too small (subsequently replaced), making the floor wet when we take a shower. One of the days, the housekeeping personnel forgot to refill the bodywash., otherwise the housekeeping staff were responsive and helpful. The breakfast was good., the Hotel may consider more Indian dishes. There were some indian break fast dishes, however, they were not prepared for indian taste, they were tasteless. Similarly the room service menu did not have much indian stuff.

The resort is in a beautiful location and the staff were welcoming and accomodating. The onsite gym was AMAZING. This was a pleasant surprise, as I hadn't read anything in the reviews ubout the gym. The buffet breakfast was the best we had during our 3 week visit to Oman and UAE. Definitely worth the price, with so many options and fantastic staff.

We ordered room service 1 night during our stay. 2 Angus burgers with cheese and kids chicken nuggets. The food was good, no complaints. I do have one complaint though....the cheese for the burger cost extra...1.5 OMR extra....which is almost 4 USD....just for a slice of cheddar cheese. I have been in the food/restaurant industry for a long time, I understand that it can be expensive at times, but.....4USD for a slice of cheese. Come on!

A perfect resort in Salalah for a family trip. They have almost everything to take care of everyone’s needs.

The buffet for BF, lunch and dinner had very few vegetarian options. Even the ones they had (Indian cuisine) was not upto the mark. I would rate their Indian cuisine as below average
