The apartment was clean and spacious. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable - assisting with booking tours, calling taxis, offering recommendations, and always greeting us warmly.

The description didn’t specify that the kitchen and living area were shared, but this was a minor surprise and did not detract from our overall experience. The kitchen could benefit from additional cookware and utensils (eg. a chopping board, small fry pan) to better accommodate guests who wish to prepare their own meals.

Breakfast is served on time and in the villas. I am a vegetarian so the staff made sure that my meals were parpared accordingly. The Villas are very clean and neatly maintained. The hotel manager (Leo), staff (Josh & Sylvia) are very friendly and accomondating to requests, puntual to time (airport pickups and dropoffs).They take good care of guests going the extra mile to provide support. They provide good information about the Koror interms of food outlets, supermarkets, tours and events happening in town. They also offer guests to join them on their market runs as a way to show them around.

Its not a negative comment just for information that the hotel does not have kitchen service at the moment, but plans are underway to have it running soon. however, villas have kitchen facility so guest can cook their own lunch and dinners. The villa is just one the edge of town so it a 3min taxi ride which costs (USD $5) each way, or if you up for a walk then its a 20mins walk from the villa with beautiful scenery along the way.

Location, quiet and peaceful, very homey and the staff were so welcoming and friendly and even kept in touch with us after we left. They were very accommodating to our needs as a family with a baby. We even got a free room upgrade as it wasn't that full. We were transiting through 4 other countries and this was our best stay simply cause of how homey and comforting the villa setup was.

The place is quite rundown due to typhoon damage so there's ongoing construction work and they only serve breakfast as their restaurant is closed so you'll have to go out of your way to look for food. But despite this, we still enjoyed our stay so much!

Apartel consists of several units - each unit has 3 rooms and a full kitchen. Each room is rented separately: bedroom with king bed, sitting room, bath. All appliances in kitchen and bath are modern. Breakfast is simple but brought to your room at your request, complete with brewed coffee. Would be an excellent choice for a large family or 3 couples wishing to room together - basically a 3-bedroom house. Staff is exceedingly helpful. Shell Villa is not elegant but an excellent value.

Beautiful apartments with a huge TV and a well equipped kitchen including stove and big fridge for shared use. The place is very clean, offers a quite relaxing atmosphere, a comfortable big bed and the wifi worked really well (streaming and online meeting no issue at all). We even got an upgrade to a bigger room which was amazing, we ended up staying 7 nights there. Yes it is a bit far from downtown but on the other hand closer to the KB bridge where you can chill and take a swim and it's only a short car-ride to the centre (there is no sidewalk on the main street so walking is kind of difficult and dangerous).

Breakfast options should be mixed up a bit, it's mostly the same every morning with only minor variations and you can't really have a say in what you want to have.

The breakfast was cooked the same morning and brought to our home. We enjoyed the variety of breakfast dishes that were served from day to day. The manager even went as far as to offer convenient times to bring over the meals. Additionally, the staff would go out of their way to set the table and ensure our dishes were cleaned and put away after the meal. Despite a hostel vibe of the house we were staying in (three rooms per house that shared a common kitchen area), we were able to enjoy with minimal distraction or interruptions.

The bed was very uncomfortable, and it felt like we were sleeping on box springs instead of mattresses. The television in the room was a Chinese brand that only provided Chinese "pay-per-view" style shows and movies. There was no way to change the settings or view information in other languages.

The rooms were comfortable and spacious, well-designed and quality furnishings, loved the luxurious en-suite and having our own living room was ideal for our group. The best of all were the staff! They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable, helping us rent a reasonably priced car, picking us up at the airport in a luxe vehicle, and making special breakfasts for us at times which worked for us. I would stay there again on my next trip.

You’ll need a car to get around, as it’s not close to any restaurants, but we needed the car anyway so it was ideal for us!

I enjoyed my stay. Superb personal treatment by Leo and his colleagues. Complimentary airport pickup, great made to order breakfast every morning delivered to your villa at your prearranged time, super bed, shower, wifi and air conditioning. Quiet area just outside of town and great for early morning walking or running.

Is about 20-30 minutes walk from the middle of town where all the restaurants are. I didn’t mind the walk but it’s not for everyone and you can easily arrange transportation with Leo, for low cost .This accommodation is not a resort so there are no other real amenities but they are able to make arrangements for any tour or activities that you wish to pursue. I definitely would stay here again based on my experience.

This is great place to stay, mainly because of the fabulous staff. Leo, Sylvia & Josh were a dream, and could not have been more helpful. The studio room, with a lounge and bath, was a good size. The wifi was adequate, as internet in Palau is not great. It is located 10 mins from downtown, however Leo will drive you in their high end large van for $5. Highly recommend the studio, the other room is quite small.

The bed, while a good size, is quite hard, for Western tastes. Probably suits Asian bed preferences. I slept on the couch which is very comfy. The included breakfast is fairly basic, but they kindly supplied a toaster, bread, butter & jam. There is a very large TV, but no TV reception. Best to connect your computer to the WiFi and then bring/use a HDMI cable to connect computer to the TV.

Staff really helpful, friendly, making you feel at home. Especially Leo, Sylvia, Josh. Thank you for : the perfect accommodation, the drives to town, the organiszation of the Rock Island & Jellyfish Lake tour, the rented car waiting for me on your car park, the wonderful barbecue diner for New Year's day, the room you gave me back late in the evening after I checked out, so I could rest and shower before my night flight, whereas you had already prepared it for the next guest... Everything was perfect, you are great people and that 5 days have gone too fast ! Thanks again. I will highly recommend Shell Villa !
