The hotel was great. It was a great value for the price paid. The breakfast was fantastic. I had scrambled eggs, ham, French toast, coffee and orange juice. It was all excellent and served by order by a nice waitress. The room was very clean with nice hardwood floors. The bed was comfortable and smelled fresh. Our room had a beautiful view from the nice little sitting balcony. The hotel is 46 years old. It has character and has been well cared for. All the staff were extremely nice and helpful.

The hot water to the room's bathroom shower was very slow. Our room faced the highway going to Cerro Punta and there were trucks transporting produce from Cerro Punta early in the morning. The trucks are loud, so expect some highway noise. The hotel is probably less than 100 meters from the highway. The pool and spa area could use some refurbishment. The hot tub needs to be tiled. The shower in the dressing area of the pool had good hot water..... you just have to wait 3 minutes or so for it to get up the hill.

This was a convenient stop for us on our way to the Cerro Punta area. The hotel is comfortable and well maintained. We didn't have a car, so it wasn't super convenient for us because you really have to drive to get to any of the trails or other activities in the area. There's not much to do at the hotel itself. They have a garden out front which is nice enough, although there's a booth at the entrance where you have to pay to get in. I'm not sure if guests have to pay a fee just to walk in the garden - we arrived late and the guy who collects the fee was gone.

The relaxing vibe without the noise of the city. I have stayed in this hotel many times in the last 35 years.

There were small spots in different areas that were not completely clean. Like dust. Not big deal but could make a difference for some clients There used to be a ping pong table before. Maybe they change it to another place.

Nice rooms, Spa with sauna, breakfast very good

attention in restaurant (except breakfast) is bad, you have actually to look for staff to order and to pay. There are definitely better dining options in the area. And the use the spa area for groups of school kids, what does not fit together really.

It was peaceful and very relaxing. The garden was clean and organized. The lady at the garden's entrance was so kind when giving ideas about where to go and what to visit.

The pool area could be improved with some music with hidden speakers. The breakfast at the restaurant is so basic and options are very limited.

The staff was incredible, the food was amazing and the location was just lovely. A great stay in Tierras Altas.

The rooms could be a bit more modern but it adds to the charming cabin appeal of the entire hotel.

The place itself which is so relaxing, the farm was so kindly for my kids and the garden walk was a nice experience

The jacuzzi was dirty, it seems there was a fungi growing in all over, like it wasn’t been cleaned days ago…

The staff was very friendly. The food was great. It was fun to watch the people on the grounds

Even in the evening the shower water was only luke warm. No hot water in the morning.

The breakfast was awesome. Traditional Panamanian cuisine starting off with tropical fruit, and mountain grown coffee. Followed by yuca, tortillas, eggs to your liking and sausage or ham. The servers were very attentive to our needs.

The comfortable and beautiful room with a gorgeous view makes my days in the hotel unforgettable. Needless to say the amenities such as the gym , swimming pool , trail and garden are something that I didn’t expect.. so definitely I love this hotel .. lastly the food was really good and tasty.

The hotel is really good .. I just have to point out something.. the restaurant has big glass windows that showcases the garden .. but the view is blurry because the glass is not transparent.. I don’t know if the material is of that kind or maybe is not that clean sufficient to have a perfect clear view while staying in there to have a breakfast.. but Will be great if they can have those glass windows transparent so we can appreciate more the view .
