The location was really convenient - we were travelling for Sinulog Festival and the hotel was in proximity to a lot of the events, as well as the Cathedral and Minor Basilica of the Holy Child of Cebu (Basilica Del Sto. Niño). Breakfast choices were particularly great for those who did not have a dairy intolerance (like me!), though there was still plenty to eat. Pool was comfortable enough for 2-4 people with a view of the city - just remember to book your 2 hour slot.

If the breakfast offerings had non-dairy milk alternatives especially for the desserts. Air-con so high in common spaces! This is actually standard in the hotels I stayed in the Philippines, so bring a shawl or cardi when having meals.

The staff were very polite and helpful and even managed to get my phone back after I left it in a taxi. The bed is comfortable, there's free water and coffee, and there's four TV channels. The place was mostly quiet despite being very busy, although there's a bit of street noise and late night singing from a nearby karaoke bar. It's next to three mall's so lots of food options.

The internet is unstable. It's fine for streaming but I had to find somewhere else as it wasn't good enough for online meetings. The first room they gave me had slow internet and no hot water. They did change my room, but the water is only a bit hot, but warm enough

The location is nice. It is near to Colon Street and Carbon Market, which are interesting for tourists. The facility is nice. I especially liked the swimming pool on the top of the building, on which one can enjoy a nice view on the city too. There are enough malls, shops and restaurants nearby.

WhatsApp did not work using the WiFi of this hotel. I almost missed an appointment because of this. A friend sent me messages several times, but WhatsApp did not show any messages or warnings. After knowing this issue, I used either a VPN service or data from my smartphone, if I needed to communicate via WhatsApp. For this I deducts some points on my review.

I always come back to book because of the location.

Some rooms like the one I stayed, the bathroom floors are clogged.

The staff is always smiling. Shin one of the crew at their restaurant is very accommodating, from the first time we step in to eat, till our last day she always smiling willing to help. Angel and Jomel the persons who cleans and organize the rooms at the 11th floor their service is beyond expectations.

The elevator and the guard (guard's uniform). For manong guard, When a guest is asking you for some questions especially for directions make sure you attend to them, cause it also impact's the hotel as a whole. For the elevator, super tagal, there's this one time that I took more than 5mins to wait.

Convenient & the superb amenities!!

One of the guards at the lower ground is not accommodating enough. I asked if there’s a taxi or habal-habal in the area trying to start off a conversation if he can call one since I’ve seen him doing it to other guests but he obviously doesn’t have any plans to help considering I am a girl holding a 5 heavy packed lunch. I was expecting a hand and a little help. So there I thought, maybe he wasn’t really that helpful, it’s not part of his job anyway. Suddenly, 2 foreigner guests arrived, & he became so helpful & accommodating with their luggages, inquiries, & calling of taxis. That was an “okayyy” moment for me.

We chose this hotel because it was very close to the bus station where the bus to Moalboal departs from. We found it was a good deal with breakfast included. Room was good. Breakfast was buffet, not a lot of options but enough and a good chance to try local food. There was also an omelette station.

They told us in reception about a penalty for breaking stuff and staining linen and our linen had quite some old stains, so we took pics just in case but there were no issues upon checkout.

Cleanliness of the room. Comfortable bed. Room with cable TV, refrigerator, electric kettle, free mineral water and toiletries. Buffet breakfast is very good. Security is good. Strategic location. Staff are friendly. There are lots of store outside you can see what you need.

Only the floor of the comfort room need to do something on the level of the floor, causing water flood on the floor from the shower, water stagnant on the floor not easily draining causing messy, uncomfortable and slippery. Shower is good it has hot and cold.

Breakfast was a very impressive buffet with varying selection day by day, which was nice since we stayed there for a long duration. Overall we were very impressed with the accomodation, and so we happily decided to spend the entirety of our time in Cebu City at One Central hotel. We especially appreciated the professionalism of the staff from front desk to concierge and also housekeeping. Always friendly and helpful, made our stay extra enjoyable. Special thanks to Diben at front desk for her help with all of our booking extensions. She is a great asset to this business, and would like to commend her great service. Thank you One Central Hotel, we will certainly stay there again next time we are in Cebu City!

Overall a good hotel. A lot of polite staff. The cleaning team does a good job. Very nice rooftop terrace with wonderful views and pool towel service.

I would expect slightly better maintenance. There are only two sunbeds at the swimming pool and there would be a need for more as on both days we were 4-9 persons at the time. You could get 3-4 more sunbeds if you moved the pool counter between the glass wall and the pool.
