Location is very accessible for food, transportation and the room is a bit small but it was clean all throughout our stay...

Overall experience while in City Garden Suites was great. Except when we were waiting for the "Checking In", though we understand very well that check in time is at 2pm, one lady at the front desk was well aware that we were there for so long and when it was already 2pm, she paid no attention to us despite the numerous times we approached her. Good thing there was this young front desk personnel who came to the rescue. Poor customer service plays a big role in the kind of business you are in and it could be one of the reasons why customers will be trying out a different place for them to stay.

We stayed five nights so got a good impression . The place is much improved since my last visit a few years ago . Much quieter A/Cs is very welcome . Buffet breakfast still great , location super by Robinson Mall and sea. Clean quiet rooms though traffic noise or building works can be heard in day . Most important is the great staff from cleaning to restaurant to reception . We were served mainly by Harvey and Shels in reception to a very high impeccable friendly standard which we found to be generally throughout all staff in any dealings .

Traffic or building sites noise can be annoying at time as windows single glazed but this is not an issue at night or in some rooms . Nothing else .

I like the staff, they were all very kind and smiling.

I didnt like the thought that on the reservation it seems that there was a bath tub in the room. I was specifically looking forward to relax but when i got there the room does not have a tub. And i still had to ask for soap since the soap dispenser was empty.

The hotel was well recived it is not as finished as the grand suits in makati this was expected but the hotel exceed what we expected. the room was large and comfortable with a good air-conditioning and an excellent location to relax after big days exploring the city. The breakfast was nice, with enough options to find something you like. having fresh cooked omelettes is an excellent service to add for breakfast. Doorman always helpful any opertunity they get.

my unfortunate experience was, I had to have a guest wait in the lobby because they didn't have hard id, until we were ready to go for dinner. I can't be to upset as it is hotel policy and has a security purpose, as well as reception handled it well. however this was family and feel there should be a policy reflecting i'm taking full liability for my guest.

In general, my family guest liked everything. Bathroom had hot water showers and felt safe.

My family did not like that they were unable to watch local channels. They were only able to watch YouTube. Also room did not have microwave although your initial website posted that rooms have microwave. Was unable to visit Manila Bay Beach because of the bad rainy weather on the day that we planned to explore it. Was unhappy with a Grab that family used to visit one of the churches close by. Grab driver charged too much. Hotel should have offered to arrange a Grab that was honest.

I stayed at the hotel for 3 days and 2 nights, and I was finally able to try the buffet breakfast earlier today. I must say, the menu was excellent. However, I had high expectations for the taho because my friend raved about how delicious it was when she had it on Tuesday morning. Unfortunately, I was disappointed. It seemed like the taho was overcooked and tasted like plain tofu mixed into soup. The room was comfortable and felt like home. I was happy to have a bathtub for a relaxing soak. Though, I did encounter some trouble with the doorknob getting stuck occasionally. It should be fine as long as I don't get locked inside the bathroom, but I think the management should address this issue. Additionally, a humidifier in the room would be beneficial, as the air conditioner seemed to dry out our throats every morning. I wasn't supposed to log into my personal account on the TV just to watch movies but do not have a choice so i did it anyway; it would be better if there were cable channels available. Also, the water temperature was not as hot as I expected, even when set to max. I had hoped to enjoy a hot bath with my onsen powder, but the lukewarm water was disappointing. Despite these minor issues, I had a pleasant and comfortable stay at the hotel. The location is convenient, with easy access to various establishments, clinics, restaurants, and tourist spots in Manila. Moreover, all staff were very lovely, approachable, and kind, especially the two gentlemen who assisted me to get into my room. Thank you so much I truly enjoyed my time there!

Sometimes the staff forgets my request. For example, before I left the establishment for medical reasons, I requested that they clean the room before 10. However, when I asked my friend, nobody came to clean it, even though there was a sign hanging on the door saying "Please make up room". I had to keep repeating and reminding the same request until eventually, I gave up and just requested the replacement of used towels and new toiletries.

Loved our stay. Personnel were nice and people in the front desk explained things well, they also fulfilled our request to put us in a lower floor. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. The best part in my opinion was the breakfast buffet. There was so many good options and the food was very good. It's also a walkable distance to a nice mall, Robinsons Manila and other landmarks in the city.

The location is located in a shady, poorer part of Manila, a bit "dugyot" if you will. Not the hotel itself though, just the surroundings. The elevator was a bit old and the buttons in it are a bit faded. Personally not a problem since we were in a lower floor.

It's a three star hotel. rooms are old and run down but bathroom was clean and reasonably modern and room was big. staff are very friendly and helpful. it's secure and quiet at night. breakfast is good. close to all the action and no problem bringing friends back to the room for a quiet cup of tea. terrible coffee in the rooms but the breakfast coffee in the restaurant is nice and strong. they have an egg grill and they do a great omelette. it's a good hotel for the price you pay and the location is great.

the orange juice was not good and the coffee in the rooms isn't good. kinda typical Philippines style ... very sweet and syrupy. but that's all. otherwise it's a good place.

The property was very near the locations of my meetings as well as the mall for some shopping and food needs. The staff were very very accommodating. My first two nights on my initial booking was even upgraded to a family room (free of charge). They were kind enough to safe keep my things in the conceirge and my laptop and other devices in the front desk even if I have checked out already (because I have extended meetings in the area so I did early check out instead on extending the room stay for a couple of hours). My 2nd booking, for the extension, I was even provided of a discount from the regular market rate 🙏 The breakfast buffet was great too!

The wifi isn’t very reliable (on the 2nd floor at least). I actually checked out after 2 days and needed to stay an extra night because I have errands the next day so I inquired if I can check again. My initial room (4F) had reliable wifi but 2F was bad that my online calls kept on getting cut several times.

-Hospitality among staff are commendable. I salute them all. -The room is clean and well lighted, the bed, linen and towels are new and well maintained. -Overall, the comfort inside the room is good.

-Limited selections of breakfast foods and the taste needs improvement. The hotel should also provide various choices of foods, especially for those guests not eating pork and/or vegetarian. -The hotel has 1 small Lift on main building that the guests need to wait and / or squeeze themselves to go up/down the building when a lot of guests are using it. Likewise, when the auxiliary support staff (with their trolley) wants to use the Lift, you need to squeeze yourself to accommodate them. -The room is not sound-proof protected. Thus, you can clearly hear the sounds from other rooms and even hallways. Sound sleep is not guaranteed.
