Location is very accessible for food, transportation and the room is a bit small but it was clean all throughout our stay...

Overall experience while in City Garden Suites was great. Except when we were waiting for the "Checking In", though we understand very well that check in time is at 2pm, one lady at the front desk was well aware that we were there for so long and when it was already 2pm, she paid no attention to us despite the numerous times we approached her. Good thing there was this young front desk personnel who came to the rescue. Poor customer service plays a big role in the kind of business you are in and it could be one of the reasons why customers will be trying out a different place for them to stay.

The hotel was clean, and the staff was efficient and courteous. The hotel is a little antiquated, but the bed is quite comfy. Some eco-friendly features include bulk soap and shampoo containers. The help desk that assisted us upgraded our room efficiently KUDOS to her, I'm glad you had a an employee like her. Little annoyances like as the mini fridge not being very cool, and the window a/c not being very efficient (especially since the room card triggered it.... leave, the a/c shuts off, and when you return, it labors all over again to cool the room), and one little elevator. Outside the hotel, walking is tough owing to uneven sidewalks and pedestrian hazards (but that's Ermita). There are numerous restaurants, 7-Elevens, massage parlors, and nightclubs nearby. The Manila Doctors Hospital and Robinsons Mall are nearby. Overall, it's a terrific deal for the neighborhood.

A/C triggered key card it's quite annoying but it's okay.

The location was very convenient. Short distance from Rizal Park and Intramuros. Walking distance to Robinsons Place for shopping and dining. The Hotel staff were so friendly and helpful, I needed to print some documents and the concierge took care of it. The hotel staff made sure our stay was hassle free. My family plan to stay again on our next trip.

The weather is unpredictable, rain will either come in drizzles or it will be like rain for hours! We were walking around the area and just waited until it cleared. Locals are amazing their umbrellas comes out of thin air like magic.

I like the staff. friendly, professional, and helpful. The cleanliness of the room, property was great. I was a bit worried if I would like the food, since I live in Canada but to my surprise the breakfast buffet was great a bit of everything to choose from Filipino to my western taste. I had no issues of noise inside or outside my room. The room was simple but nice size, and had what I needed for my 16 day stay. TV was ok, closet space ok, a safe, I was golden .The gym was decent for a hotel gym, a barbell would of been nice to use, but not the end of the world. Robinson Mall was 5 to 10 minutes walking distance . Also a supermarket was close by. The Hotel deserves a higher ranking than the current 3 star.

Being from Canada, I wish the bacon was a bit more cooked. A few times, there was some missing items, jam or syrup. Other than that, nothing else to nitpick over.

Breakfast was an outstanding buffet. I have stayed at City Gardens many times in the past , mainly because of their breakfast and outstandingly friendly staff. I was very happy to be in a smoking permitted room and very happy that a balcony was there to dissipate the smoke and prevent the room from the smell..

Stayed in a 1 bedroom suite. Air conditioning in the room did not work and even after it was supposedly repaired, temperature control could not be adjusted...it was stuck at 20 degrees C so the room was cold. TV in the living room worked, but an error notice constantly appeared on the screen and would not stop appearing for my entire stay. TV in the bedroom was fine. Although there were many food places nearby and Robinson mall was easily in walking distance, the general neighborhood is not very good although i experienced no fear for my safety.

I really really like the buffet breakfast. The whole team preparing the breakfast should be given 10 stars. My whole family loves the variety of food and how friendly the staff is. I like how comfortable the room is. Lots of storage drawers for our things.

I messaged the hotel in advance that we will check in 11pm due to our flight and I was expecting the room is already prepared. However, it was not. So we waited 15 to 20 minutes before we can rest.

To start, the staff responded to my messages quickly, that's a big thumbs up from me since I was a little worried cause I was booking the rooms for my parents in the Philippines while I'm in Canada using my credit card. I am also grateful that my special request upon booking was granted. The hotel is just a short walk to Saint Lukes extension clinic where my parents needed to do the medical exam for Canadian visa (the reason I pick this hotel in the fist place) and the sumptuous breakfast that my family enjoyed was the cherry on top.

The location was very good. The staff were excellent, they were always happy and smiling and always ready to help. We cannot remember all the names of the staff but they were the best.. we remember Lhen, Kervin, Kevin, Tom, they should all be congratulated and the hotel should be very proud of them as they leave a lasting impression on the guest. Thank you to all the staff who made our stay such a wonderful one.

There was nothing to dislike.

•The room was so spacious most especially the bed and at the same time, the rates are not overpriced. •Their breakfast was so good but I would like to commend and highlight the staffs in the restaurant specifically Mr. Kevin. His service and assistance were beyond what is expected by guests. He’s very polite and always cater your needs. •The place feels very safe and comfortable. And is very near to the attractions we’re aiming

Prefer room with a view, such as a previous stay. Restaurant is excellent, staff very helpful.

Outside. Footpaths poor quality. Inside very pleasant. A tuktuk/Baja'i/tricycle a good way of getting around. Museums close by and excellent displays. My last trip there was well worth going to the Natural history museum and the Fine Arts museum. Another day at the aquarium was very interesting. Both nearby to City Gardens.
