I LOVED the location, especially if you like 24/7 fast food. It's safe, convenient, and normally quiet. It's near convenient stores (Watson's, Southstar Drug) and banks too. Our room had a window and I appreciate that (because I like morning light). Value for money, considering it's QC and the rate of other hotels in similarly good locations. We had a room with no breakfast - but we bought one on our last day. I would recommend just buying breakfast instead of getting the free option that comes with the room as it's reasonably priced and delicious (get the Calumpit longganisa).

There wasn't a lot of space in the bathroom for my toiletries. There's also no hair dryer. There is a water dispenser in the hallway, BUT I would prefer complimentary bottled water in the room. There were a few ants in the room, but nothing serious.

Above and beyond the staff was absolutely the best. Accommodating, Helpful and Friendly. The food in the restaurant was amazing, as well as their signature brand coffee. We needed many times to use a taxi for our excursions, and the doormen would walk out to the street and flag one down for us. I can't recommend The Fersal Hotel, Malakas any higher !

The only complaint, and to be truthful, we never even persued it, was the tv didn't work. WE didn't want to use it anyway, and looking back, I think perhaps the batteries in the remote were no good.

The hotel has all the basic things you will need for your stay. The refrigerator, although small, was very powerful. I like that they did not provide water through disposable bottles but instead placed water dispensers along the floor and provided glass pitchers and drinking glasses/cups to use (very environment friendly). Aircon was strong as well. I love its proximity to the Phil. Heart Center, our destination during this travel. For the room's price, it was a very good deal! BTW, the rates in booking.com is way, way cheaper than when you book with them directly. I confirmed this when I asked them there and then. Shower pressure is very good.

The bathroom is very cramped and ours had a leaking bidet. The blanket was very thin, almost non-existent. Thus, we had to adjust the aircon to a lower level so as not to be very cold at night. My sister used the room's TV but it was blurred despite having cable channels.

I love the bed, the firmness is my personal preference. The same firmness I have home. So I really had a good sleep for the 4 nights of stay. The room is spacious enough, and it was a quiet floor which I prefer. They have a decent breakfast (breakfast included) Complimentary water is available 24/7 House keeping staff (3rd floor) offers a good customer service (according to my needs) The hot and cold shower is working well...perfect temperature, though there is weep hole for water to escape from walk-in shower to washroom floor, not sure though why is that so, but water goes back in to shower drain.

AC is noisy...probably motor wear.

GREAT location. Walking distance to PHC (Heart Center). Rooms and beds are cozy with cool and international movies and shows available on cable. It's also walking distance to watsons drugstore, 711 and food places like McDo and Pizza Hut. A bonus for me: their cafe/diner downstairs has some of the BEST and memorable regional dishes and very cute and tiny rice containers and mini kawalis! I highly recommend the lechon kawali kare kare! The kitchen staff was amazing and the food presentation is social media worthy. Thanks so much for hosting our family

Part of this trip was a series of medical check ups, with a few hospitals along East Avenue. Fersal Hotel in Malakas Street is smack in the middle and very near these hospitals. There are also a lot of restaurants and fast foods nearby which are all accessible via walking.

Nothing. The place is a little old but there is a certain charm coming from it.

There was no extra charge for the extra pillow that was provided to us.

The beddings were not changed everyday. There was no hair dryer in the bathroom even though there was a holder for it. The chair in the dresser did not have a back support. WIFI is not fast enough to accommodate for someone who used the hotel for work purposes. There was no cold water option in the water dispenser.

The location is very central. It’s near QC City Hall, shops and restaurants and the MRT. The price is also reasonable and the staff are very accommodating. I was late for my check out but they didn’t charge me for the extra hour. I like that they also have free water and alcohol at the lobby and floor.

The room’s cleanliness could be improved. I found a piece of hair stuck in the hanger. And the floor and tables are still a bit dirty.

The staff are helpful and nice. The room is clean. The hotel is located to a convenience store, ATM/Banks, and restos. It has resto at the lobby. Near the malls by car. It is also near UP.

A lamp shade in the room for a dimmer light before going to bed. Internet speed in rooms could be improved.

Fersal on Malakas St. is my go-to hotel when visiting in QC. Have started staying since last year, and for this time, I stayed for almost a week, having to check out and in again, as I had out of town trips in between. The staff are all top notch - from the check in staff, to the wait staff in the restaurant, to the guards and housekeeping folks. It was nice to check in again after so many months, and to be recognized. [In fact, my mother forgot some precious photos which we were not aware of that she had left in her room when she stayed in October, but they set this aside and gave it back to me on this visit: 5 months later!] The rooms are clean and comfortable, the bed mattresses are firm - I've tried quite a number of these rooms and prefer those where the bathrooms have separators between the shower and water closet. I appreciate the availability of water jugs which you can fill with drinking water. The restaurant serves excellent Filipino food! Parking is available - and the location is near enough restaurants like Pancake House and fastfood places like McDonald's. Quiet in the evenings.
