The location is stunning with it's own private beach and what a view. Staff are amazing and really helpful with everything. There are 3/4 dogs who wonder around the beach who will ignore you if you ignore them or come and say hello and they are also gorgeous. We booked a cheap moped from the hotel to ride around the island and messaged them for a free transfer which worked really well. Rooms are really nice and we got a private balcony, the room was quiet as anything. Air con worked really wello which is useful in 30 degree heat. We booked a massage which was good and good value also. A couple of nice bars along the beach for evening cocktails. Overall, we absolutely loved our stay!

It is a very nice place. Big resort. Beautiful gardens and swimming pools. A lot of smiling and helpful staff to help everyone.

One night of my stay there was a BBQ night, and me as vegetarian had no option for dinner. When I asked for a salad, they made for me something like a taco filling, plated like a salad, and I had no other option. The music was very loud, I could hear it from my cottage, it was not much of a bother, but it was something little that I didn’t like.

The grounds are amazing - so beautiful and without a doubt the best place to stay on the island. The staff really elevate the place as well, they are so friendly and welcoming and make sure they know who you are and your requirements. Sunsets at the beach were magical. The Apo Island trip was absolutely amazing!

I think the resort is let down a little due to the bedrooms. They are clean but a little old fashioned and it would really enhance the property if the rooms were renovated. Also, the food in the restaurant is not great and every restaurant serves the same food. To bring this place to the next level the food could be improved.

Hot water was good. Service was excellent, particularly Vicky. Entire staff was friendly and quick to offer assistance any way they could, regardless of the dept they worked, including Robert the pool guy, the entire restaurant staff and to Joy the manager. Wifi was good and I was able to work from my room. I will return again for sure.

Shower head was too low and too close to the wall for a big and tall person. Dont go for the snorkeling as it is average at best. Corals are not good. Diving and snorkeling is highy over rated. To a person who has been to Palawan and Apo Island, it was a disappointment.

this hotel has surpassed everything. the staff are incredibly accommodating, attentive and caring. After just one day, I was always personally addressed by my name! The organization is excellent!! Had a yoga class - individually and she was awesome! The massages are also highly recommended- great environment! but the best part was definitely the dive center! They care to every one needs. I had a guide just for me alone! perfect for beginners!! thanks for the wonderful stay at your Resort!! the Resort is very beautiful and although it was fully booked- I could swim alone at a Pool and ist was very quiet!

We had such a wonderful time at Coco Grove. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Special shout outs to Merlyn, Loyd, JeJe and Filmore. They helped to make our time there extra special. The resort is beautiful and very well kept. The beach is cleaned every day! We had breakfasts (great portions and a variety of breakfast options) and suppers (very affordable) at the restaurant down by the water. It was beautiful and so relaxing. They had live music a couple of nights and fire dancers one of the nights too. We took advantage of the Temple Spa with a massage and foot reflexology. That was a great experience. If we needed to go to an outside restaurant tricycle drivers were available outside of the resort. We took a tour on a tuk tuk on the island and the driver, Filmore, was awesome. Can't say enough good things about this place and the people! Above and beyond!!!

Breakfast choices are excellent and dinner menu selections are great. The huts on the beach are awesome with good distance from other beach huts. The sceneries on the beach are the best. It is well designed with polynesian touch and a relaxing atmosphere. Plenty of greens, coconut trees, banana and mango trees and different colorful flowers that surrounds the walkways and villas.

Temple Suite 2 has lizards or geckos on the ceiling that give droppings onto the bed. Black ants are all over the room along with crickets. I would have rated this facilities with a perfect 10 if not because of these items. Slippers should have been provided considering the status of the resort.

Amazing place in front of marine sanitary. Even if the resort is big, we always had the feeling that we had the resort for us only. The waitresses were very nice and always smiling.

The price of the food was a bit expensive compared to other resorts we went to with similar quality level. At check out, they tried to ask us pay more than we initially booked with booking and we had to discuss with the manager to explain that we were not going to pay more than initially booked and confirmed, and that they should discuss this issue with booking.com

One of the most enjoyable hotel experience in the Philippines. For having travelled in the Philippines quite a few times, I have to say that Coco Beach Grove Resort has the highest standards for its guests. Pickup service included in the booking from the harbor, and help from the hotel to go back to Dumaguete for the checkout day (save a lot of organisation and time). Hotel with direct access to a wonderful and private beach, 3 swimmings pools, diving activities, spa, help from the reception for booking a scooter. Food is really good, and staff is competent, helpful and super friendly.

Mattresses were a bit uncomfortable, only a fine bedsheet. I almost got cold during the night (which is quite the exception in the Philippines).

One of the most amazing resort hotel stays I have ever had in my life, in the world. It's single-story and in love with nature, the bungalows augment nature and blend into coconut palm trees and beach. The food is fantastic across the many dining locations in the resort, and the views from where you dine and drink (with sand between your toes) are exquisite. If you fancy a drink and a dip, well take your pick. Pools and beach bars galore including a swim-up in the main pool at the beach. The spa is off-the-charts good, and then you get to the Coco Grove staff. BEST I have experienced I would say. They are truly wonderful. It felt like interacting with family. Quite amazing to be honest. Coco Grove is EXCEPTIONAL across the board!!!

I have nothing to add here... It truly is EXCEPTIONAL. OK, one ask then of Coco Grove: can you speak to my boss and get my more vacation time a year so we can come back more often?
