Quiet and very convenient for Auschwitz - I was there for the 80th anniversary ceremonies. Perfectly acceptable dinner and breakfast.

They massively raised the room price just for the Auschwitz liberation 80th anniversary ceremonies, cashing in on the huge influx of press, reporters, television, survivors, dignitaries etc seeking a place to stay. This is a perfectly acceptable ordinary hotel and definitely not worth the £358 I had to pay for just one night - but I had no other choice given the need for somewhere with a 24 hour reception desk close to Auschwitz I. Any other time of the year it charges less than a third of that price, and I don't think they should be cashing in on Holocaust commemoration in this way.

We upgraded our room as we were put in a twin bed, cannot remember if that’s what we booked. But martyna was extremely helpful, polite and friendly, and swapped us round. She made our stay. Nice big spacious room, exceptionally clean Restaurant is excellent. Our second visit there.

Was a little annoyed that every morning at breakfast all the window tables were nicely set but all reserved, we never saw anyone sit there. It was the same in the evenings Breakfast cereals need to be upgraded, only two types, that were for children, not adults. Otherwise good choice of breakfast.

The staff at this hotel were amazing. So accommodating. I've got a dairy allergy a d all staff in the restaurant were super helpful. On reception the staff there were also wonderful. They made everything so easy - booking taxis for us, answering questions, being welcoming every morning. Location is also great for Auswich which is a short walk up the road. About 10 minute walk. There's a supermarket next to the hotel which is handy if, like us, you want to get some snacks for your room.

We liked everything. The place was is faultless.

The best location to the Memorial museum, but also the best hotel we could find in the area. The receptionists (and everybody in the hotel team) are so sweet and helpful. We experienced different breakfast elements than usual( cottage cheese cream with herbs, egg cream, egg salad) and it was so tasty! We had dinner one night and it was also great. The rooms are spacious, clean and well equipped(kettle, fridge, room safe). Parking is also easy, they have plenty of slots. If we come back to visit the Museum or Krakow, we definitely choose this hotel again!

Very good location, clean room and comfortable bed. Electrical sockets close to the bed. Water (still and sparkling) supplied free of charge. Quite big shower - comfortable. The breakfast was like in Polish hotels many years ago - very limited buffee, but possibility to order one of the sets from the menu. The breakfast was very, very good! I got a big bed (like for double room), while I was expecting only a small bed, so that was a big plus for me.

The WiFi does not work. It is not just "too slow" it is so slow that nobody could consider that as operating at all. Total rubbish. I had to use my cellular data connection. At 7am the hotel started to play loud music on the corridors. Guys! It is a hotel and not a scout camp with unwanted wake-up calls! The music was not from the neighbour room, but from the hotel.

Breakfast appeared limited at the first glance, but you need to order from a menu, then you'll get nice dishes. The room was spacious, bathroom as well. The location is in the meantime not very close to the entrance of the concentration camp. The camp's entrance is about 20 minutes walk, nothing bad, but nobody seems to expect that people come by train. Still, we would book the hotel again, staff was very friendly and the hotel is clean and in good shape.

We thoroughly enjoyed everything about this hotel.. The location is excellent for the entrance to Auschwitz Museum - within 15 mins walking distance. It is not far from the station either - perhaps 20/25 mins walking. The room was big with all amenities and a great powerful shower. The restaurant was first class both for our evening meal and breakfast. Staff were polite and friendly. We would not hesitate in recommending this hotel to anyone. Thanks to everyone.

Absolutely nothing.

Great breakfast, within easy walking distance of Auschwitz Memorial. Rooms a good size, clean with everything you needed. Had our evening meal in the restaurant, food was excellent.

Only down side was a group of teenage students staying the same time as us. They were generally thoughtless towards other guests and seemed to be jumping around their rooms until very late. Unfortunately we were directly below them.

Immaculately clean room. Wonderful reception staff. Hotel facilities were perfect. Breakfast selection was good with a hot and cold option plus cereals, fruits and cakes. Literally across the road from Auschwitz. Only comment I’d make is some of the waiting staff in restaurant could be more pleasant and attentive. Waited 20 mins to be offered a drink and in the end asked for a jug of water as there was one on every other table apart from ours!

Nothing to do outside in the near vicinity other than the supermarket. However being so close to Auschwitz was a real bonus

The Hotel Imperiale is perfectly located for visiting the Auschwitz Museum experience which is only 300m away. While it's location is on the fringe of a small industrial area, it doesn't take away from the beauty of the surrounding towns & countryside. Ample parking outside if your driving or indeed space for motor homes who wish to park up for the night. The rooms themselves are very clean, bright, spacious and well appointed even down to the complimentary toiletries which included a toothbrush & tooth paste. All of the staff we're very helpful and willing to ensure our stay with them was perfect in every way. The buffet breakfast was really nice with both fresh & cooked foods. We really enjoyed our stay here and would easily recommend the Hotel Imperiale to anyone.

The only slight disappointment is the small industrial area the hotel borders - but even with this in mind it is far outweighed by the comfort and standards of the hotel itself and location to the main tourist attraction Auschwitz.
