I stayed at this property with my wife, and everything was absolutely wonderful. The interior design was stunning, the bed was very comfortable, and the rooms were spacious with beautiful views. The à la carte food was excellent, and the breakfast was very good as well. Regarding the staff, the owners Fernando and Jorge were very nice people, and Lionel from the bar provided us with exceptional service. Lionel is a truly outstanding individual. Thank you all for a very enjoyable stay!

There was one negative aspect. For us, it was a bit cold, and the system does not allow individual temperature adjustments when it is set to summer mode. Owner Jorge tried to resolve the issue for us, but the system didn't allow for much flexibility. We understood the situation, but we recommend purchasing 1-2 extra heaters for guests like us who prefer a constant 25 degrees in the room. Despite this, we returned after spending a few days in another area, and the weather had warmed up, making the room temperature perfect.

Very nice place! The staff was very friendly and even provided access to a private WiFi for a video call. The view from the room and restaurant was just amazing and we were very happy with the breakfast (fresh orange juice, local cheese and pastries, very good bread). We had dinner at the restaurant on the first night, which was also delicious and I think the price was also fair for what was offered. The jacuzzi, pool and gym were also nice.

Initially it felt a bit that everything was very strict - prebook times for breakfast, dinner, jacuzzi, gym - cards for towels to charge if not returned. However, actually everything was very relaxed and we had no problems (even when we were 10min late for our breakfast;)). It was a bid weird to have to have the tv on in order to have WiFi (it worked okay though)

Very beautiful and private setting, especially the rural residences. Wonderful restaurant, very personable and helpful staff, a truly lovely retreat up in the hills. The views are amazing! My only suggestion would be to update the gym with a few padded mats and a source of drinking water. The pool was very refreshing, the spa was tepid but the redwood sauna was heaven.

Young children in the spa. There were many families with small children at the resort, which is fine, however, the signage regarding no children under 12 and the necessity for spa appointments should be posted more visibly to preserve cleanliness and privacy.

Everything was clean and comfortable, and the staff was very nice. The room was spacious and well-equipped with amenities like coffee and tea. The common spaces were also well-maintained and inviting. The restaurant was a highlight - the breakfast had plenty of variety, and dinner was excellent. The food was really well-prepared, and the desserts and overall selection were great.

Nothing much, just that the AC would turn off automatically after a couple of hours.

Our stay here was amazing. The location, the grounds and the views were peaceful and lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful with suggestions for activities as well as for finding a laundromat. The breakfast was delicious with many choices and a great coffee machine so we could get exactly what we wanted. We ate dinner at the restaurant both nights and were so impressed with the quality and options available.

Breakfast & dinner were very good!! Great interior of the hotel surprising for the location. The most comfortable bed & bed linen that's just perfect for a good night's sleep & quiet.

Jacuzzi NOT in use, which we should have been told about as that was one of the reasons for choosing the hotel. RIDICULOUS WiFi SYSTEM FOR ROOM CAN ONLY CONNECT WHEN TV ON !! Smells of dogs outside of the room on the balcony.

Overall a good hotel, with good amenities and spacious rooms. The staff were also helpful and nice. All was very clean, from room to sheets and towels. The location is very quiet but still quite close to Nazare/Alcobaca (by car).

There are some points that still need improvements: no proper ventilation system, hence a lot of humidity from the bathroom use / rooms are a bit gloomy, even with all lights turned on / the heating system seemed to be preset at 20 degrees (it's true we didn't ask at the reception about its settings).

This is a very nice hotel and we had a beautiful room. Also the hotels hall and living room area has a gorgeous view over the countryside and the ocean (Nazaré is about 9 Kms away). There was a small problem with electricity so I was sent to another room and everything worked out fine. They were very kind and washed and dried some things for free (since these bathing suits and towels of mine were hanging to dry when I had to change rooms). Our room was large and very pretty. Also had a big bathroom and a terrace area outside. Very comfortable bed. I also enjoyed the pool and had a very good dinner at the restaurant. Personnel is very kind and they really do their best to make you feel welcome. It is also very near Alcobaça and Nazaré. Tomar is only 1 hour away. So it has a great position. Breakfast too was very good and varied. Fresh Fruit, cereal, bread, home made cake, croissants, eggs, bacon, yogurts, jams etc..

I really liked staying here and would come back. The pool area and sauna may need a bit of refurbishing (some tiles were missing etc). But the view of the countryside and of the ocean is exceptional!

We loved our stay at Vale D'Azenha. The rooms are huge and the Hotel is set in peaceful and quiet surroundings which might not be everyone's cup of tea but it was definitely ours :) You do need a car to get to the Hotel but there is plenty of car parking spaces. The majority of the staff are amazing, very polite and friendly especially in the reception and the cleaning ladies always spoke too. We would have loved to have been able to use the outdoor pool but it was still a little bit chilly during May.

We enjoyed our meal in the Hotel's restaurant but it was very expensive so we only ate there on our first night. The breakfast room is very quiet, there was one chap each morning but he didn't appear very often and he didn't speak much at all and when I asked a question about how to use the toaster he snapped at me so I left it. The Wi-Fi was a little hit and miss but this runs through the TV system and our TV went down during our stay but the staff kindly changed it the next day. It didn't affect our stay at all.

We stayed in the Delux Villas at this property. They are quite roomy with full heat and air conditioning. Each cabin has its own type of trees around it. Figs, lemons, pomegranates. The view of the valley while sitting on the deck is breathtaking. Staff was very friendly. It was the best breakfast buffet we've had in all of our travels. Infinity pool was lovely, although we found the weather too cool to take advantage of it.
