The location is in the countryside so peaceful and good for a walk. They were helpful in adding an extra night and provided breakfast in a basket. There was a misunderstanding with the second morning's breakfast but it was sorted out.

Because the property is quite far away from Braganca town, its best if you have a car/campervan otherwise it's a taxi. The pool is not on site so the same applies if you want to make the most of that. There was a restaurant next door, but no other places to eat nearby and I found it quite expensive. The meals were large and generally too much for me but the quality was good, typical Portuguese cuisine.

Lovely setting, comfortable rooms, and the communal dining area was great. Breakfast was nicely presented, fresh local produce.

Oh my the flies, they were such a nuisance. The pool up at the other residence wasn't too clean, and looked a little like it hadn't had it's spruce up for the coming season yet. On the plus side, it's location is fantastic with great picturesque views.

Great room with balcony and use of a large lounge and kitchen with all the basics. Great location. Use of a pool which was very close at the farm, though you would want to drive there only took a few minutes. We are planning to visit for a week another time, this was quite a find and was very cheap for the facilities provided.

Location: There is no well-defined location as the company manages several homes scattered over the Gimonde, former farm (quinta) with the swimming pools, a restaurant, breeding a specific Portuguese type of pig called Bisaro and a small meet processing factory. Gimonde is a small, quiet historic village. Hotel: For the check-in you must stop at the Bisaro shop (souvenirs and meet produced by the company) easily visible from the main road. After formalities a nice girl leads you to your home. We stayed in the Casa do Lúpulo. Two adjacent historic homes are converted into modern apartments. The homes contain three or four apartments and a common space: a siting area, a dining area, a kitchen as well as a garden where you can eat your breakfast. The home follows the pattern of function typical for the region: ground level for the agricultural activity (now shared facilities) and upper level for living space (now the apartments). Room: large, large space in the wardrobe, electric sockets: triple socket near the bed sufficient for charge whatever you need, lighting: good. Bed: large and comfortable. Bathroom: small but well designed and functional, bathtub with a shower. The bathroom is heated (not obvious in Portugal). I liked the natural lighting coming from the roof window. Breakfast: very good, delivered to your home in a basket, including meet from Bisaro; you choose the time of the delivery to avoid grouping people from different apartments. WiFi: strong signal and fast connection. Parking: safe, at the street near the home or a few steps away. Covid: the measures introduced and observed.

Hotel: You must carry your bags along the long and narrow stairs. Bathroom: not enough space for your toiletries, an additional shelf would be helpful. Description: it is not clear what facilities are for a private use and what are shared (for instance the kettle is available in the shared kitchen, not in the apartment).

There was a small well equipped kitchen in the hotel complex , breakfast was good , beds comfy

The listing shows several photos of the swimming pool but this was actually 1.5km from the main hotel complex

The staff were very welcoming. The SPA was just perfect and the little village is really beautiful and peaceful. Great value for money, indeed.

The toilet had a little leak, and could have been a bit cleaner.

The apartment was very nice. I would happily live there. The staff were great and the food in the restaurant was really good too.

Comfortable and very spacious room. Very close by foot to restaurants and by car to the city of Bragança or to Montesinho Natural Park. Good value for money.
