This place was perfect for us, a family with 2 small kids. The villa was spacious, very clean and had beautiful sea views, the staff were all very welcoming, the pools were great and the grounds were beautiful. The thing that made it for us was the location - just a few minutes walk down to the best beach in the Algarve. Great for swimming, sandcastle building and wave jumping but also had a snack bar and 2 restaurants for the evenings. Also the beach didn't have a coating of seaweed when a lot of the other local beaches did!

This hotel was great. The apartment was larger than expected. The shower was huge. Very clean. According to reviews, I brought a spatula and some hooks just in case. We stopped in at the pingo doce market before arrival to bring some groceries and supplies. The first floor level provided a great ocean view. The terrace was a good size as well. Lots of closet space, places to put your suitcase, etc. We only stayed 4 nights. It should have been longer. There are 2 restaurants down at the beach. Both are excellent, but the vibe at Campimar is amazing. Their patio is the best place to watch the sunset while enjoying a cocktail, but you could easily just watch it from anywhere on he beach. The food in the restaurant is wonderful.

We had a car, so the location was perfect. With no car, you are a fair walk from the town, but public transit is right there and uber to downtown is a few Euros, so not really a problem at all.

We loved the location — it's right at the beach, and the views are amazing! We loved the apartment itself, it was spacious and had not one but two floor to ceiling doors to the balcony that overviews the gorgeous ocean. We liked that there was a sauna, and it was nice to have the option to have buffet dinner when we arrived too. And we loved the reception cats :) it was also nice that they cleaned the room later in the day too, just to have that option as a jetlagged person is great.

It would be nice to have an easier beach towel system, and it would be nice to just share the sauna instead of using it one by one. The sauna is big, so it's ok.

Amazing staff- especially Tiago and Hugo on reception, who always did their best to help and offer good advice; good location, nice pool, lovely gorgeous sunset view from balcony, very quiet. The nearby beach is lovely, unspoiled and not crowded at all!. Well placed for the Cliff walk. Everywhere is 10 min max and 4-5euro by Uber

Outdated 1990s room and bathroom decor, broken hairdryer ( the receptionist very kindly lent us an alternative and organised for it to be fixed, but this and the awkward shower/bath glass partition thing should really be replaced with a modern and ergonomic alternative in line with a 4star rating. We were in a house at the top end, but had to walk up and down the hill to get to our apartment when letting residents use the (locked) back gate would save people time and effort.

Traditional style architecture apartment complex with a great location just above a broad beach on a stunning cliff. You could see signs of aging, but the apartments and the whole complex are well mentained and euipped. The most impressive is the whole ambience and landscaping-lots of greens, trees, flowers and generous outdoor spaces. The outdoor pools are large, with sunbeds and umbrellas and the indoor heated pool is a conveneince in colder and windier months. We had a great time here!

The location was idyllic. Beautiful views, close to the beach, with lovely pools - both a big pool and a smaller, more private pool just behind the building unit. I stayed in some other places in The Algarve and looked at a ton online and most places were either too far back to get a good view or had something blocking the view of the sea. But the building I was in (1) was just perfect. I liked it so much here, I extended my stay. The apartment had everything I needed and was spotless and comfortable. Parking was easy and there was a great grocery store not far away as well as plenty of activities to book nearby.

I wish there was a washer but it was helpful that they had a clothes rack on the balcony. I washed my clothes in the sink and they dried quickly outside in the sun and the lovely sea breeze.

The location, room, and staff were amazing. There’s a small path to the beach directly from the hotel so in 2 minutes you are down at a big stunning beach. It’s a wavy beach but really calm and not crowded at all (we were there in April). We stayed in Villa 1 which is at the end of the resort with a small pool are for this vila only and amazing views. Perfect for some privacy and calm. The staff member were all very friendly and nice.

The only minor thing I can think off is that the kitchen is missing some appliances and basic cooking items. there’s only one pan and in not very good condition (all food con stuck to it). So the kitchen is good for putting together a simple breakfast and snacks, but not for cooking a proper meal (which is not a problem given that 5 minutes by car you’ll find plenty of restaurants in Lagos)

The location & the view from the room was amazing!! The perfect place to watch the sunset! Just awesome! Everything else was really good as well. From well organized and equipped kitchen, to comfy cahiers and sofa, to paring right next to the entrance, pool with sunbeds, etc.

I was a bit disappointed from the spa area. The sauna was a bit dated, no changing room or lockers, the shower drain was clogged, etc. I mean, people go there for the ocean and maybe the outdoor pool, so :) Anyway, I like going to the sauna, and that was disappointing to me,

Location - perfect for us, close to beach, close to walks (into town via the lighthouse or over cliffs to Praia de luz), close enough to Lagos for supermarket's and restaurants (Uber costs €3.75 one way) Staff (reception) - very polite and knowledgeable. Facilities - pool, sauna, jacuzzi, gardens kept really well

Apartment could do with a bit more personality and comfort. Couch 3/10 for comfort. Beds - we had 2 x single beds pushed together, which would rate 5/10. Last night slept on the sofa bed and was much more comfortable. Kitchen could do with updating. If all above we're changed/ updated I'm sure you could demand a higher price aswell as the location is 10/10

We had amazing views, the beach was just a couple of minutes away, the atmosphere at the pool was great. The rooms were spacious. The best part of stay at Clube Porto Mos was by far the staff, friendly approachable and helpful. Free parking was a nice feature.

Rooms were spacious, however were very dated. Felt like a time capsule, would be nice if they updated them.
