minibar did not keep items enclosed cool never mind cold. Room and bathroom fittings although spotlessly clean were a bit dated and would benefit from upgrading. On the Friday evening ,at the pool bar, the barman stated that beer on tap was not served over the weekends only bottled beer was available. On Saturday evening , I believe still to be the weekend, a different barman had no problem serving beer from the tap but did have to send to the restaurant for wine as there was none at the pool bar???

The staff were exceptional and couldn't be more helpful, a shout out goes to Manuel the bar man, Lois & Arnold in the restaurant (apologies for any incorrect spellings)! They were amazing!! Also the lovely young girl on reception whose name we didn't catch. They made our stay at this hotel!! The food was always good and plenty of it. The buffet nights were really good value.

Unfortunately I feel the hotel may be suffering like many others within this industry due to the recent pandemic as some area's of the hotel looked a little tired and in need of attention. The air conditioning system in our room didn't work very well but our mums room it worked fine. I would suggest that the rooms have tea and coffee making facilities as the restaurant was not always open.

Restaurant staff was very attentive and kind as we ate lunch in the restaurant. Service was very good. Also one night we did room service and that was nice. The next night we came in late and heard a surprise knock on the door. It was a man with two platters of sandwiches which was very thoughtful. (We didn't order them) so very nice touch to do that! rooms were warm, nice sea view, beds were comfortable. Enjoyable stay. Leaving our battery died and hotel man gave us a jump - very nice!

The hotels location is a bit through a windy area of town. It is definitely out of the way but google maps was accurate.

The breakfast choice was very good and always a good choice of buffet evening meal. The hotel and room was clean and had excellent views over Nazare and the coast.

The only disappointment was the distance to the town and beach which I should have checked more carefully myself. It is at least a 30 minute walk to the town centre and more to return because of the hills, so really means driving there.

Some of the staff was very helpful. The view was unbelievable special at night time.

Not a real hotel for a family holiday. They don't have enough food for kids. The pizzas aren't great. A 4 star doesn't even have chicken nuggets for the kids at this time is a joke. And I did ask at the second day on the reception for things like and nothing was done about it

the room was excellent but could not access the safe because it was locked i assume its an extra. The breakfast was one of the best i ever had in a hotel .

I didn't like the fact that i left an expensive transformer charger in the room and the hotel never bothered to reach me by email , i attempted to reach the front desk wen i found out and i was far away and all i got was the run around when they had all of my information and i would have paid for any delivery costs.

fantastic staff and great hotel all round…breakfast was spot on and set us up for the day. The spa for the hotels is well worth a try. A special shoutout to the hotel minibus driver,such a sweet man. He went out of his way to drop and pick you up from the town

we only had 1 evening meal at the hotel, unfortunately very disappointing for me as a vegetarian. €14 for an omelette that was so overcooked and no seasoning, daughters duck overcooked too.

The location and views are amazing, you can see the ocean from your hotel room. Friendly staff and quiet comfortable rooms with very nice, modern and clean bathrooms. The breakfast buffet was so great! Delicious fresh assortment of fruits, cheeses, meats, breads, cereals, juices and hot food offerings. Overall a great experience for my whole family!

The mattress could be a little softer but this maybe good for someone else.

This hotel had a wonderful view and the sunset was perfect. Good food and entertainment. Would have loved to use the pool but it was raining. Room was clean and comfortable.

The only thing I can comment on was the carpet was a bit dirty in the eating area and maybe replaced. A car I think is necessary as the hotel is not downtown but on a hill by the marina.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The hotel's 'shabby' appearance in 2019 was gratefully updated -- from the Lobby to the top floor Restaurant. Bravo. The wi-fi was very good this time, unlike 2019 and prior. Water pressure in bathroom was excellent; plenty of fresh, clean towels, including extra large bath towels, which was a plus.

The sea view was minimal. For obvious security reasons, prefer to not be in a main floor room with outdoor patio. Surprised to have been given these side-by-side rooms, having booked 7 months ago. The safe didn't work properly (beeped all the time; no new batteries were installed despite customer service seeing and hearing the issue). The hair dryer only worked for 10-30 seconds at a time, then automatically shut off: unacceptable. Some bathroom amenities previously provided were no longer offered.
