This property we stayed was on R. de Mouzinho da Silveira 290, apartment 1D and it exceeded our expectations. It was a modern 2-bedroom duplex with a elevator in the building. The first level had the living room with a 2-story high ceiling and a large balcony overlooking the street. On the same level was kitchen and a large bathroom. The second level had 2 bedrooms. It was immaculate and clean and tastefully decorated. It was on a busy street, but windows must be good quality, which kept it quiet, and we didn't hear anything inside the apartment. The best part was the location, which was 2 minutes from Sao Bento station. It was 5 mins from Porto Cathedral and 6-7 minutes from the Luis I bridge. There were some awesome restaurants in the side streets including Japanese restaurant Kanpai in the same building. The property management office is a 2 min walk from the apartment on R. de Mouzinho da Silveira 290. Overall, it was a 5 star experience for us.

This is not a criticism, but a note to other travelers to carry their own coffee powder, salt, sugar and condiments (if needed). We knew about it and had carried them with us. In fact, we left our salt, pepper, ketchup packets for other guests.

Excellent location. Close to so many shops and restaurants. The apartment is modern and has plenty of space for everyone. There are 3 bedrooms and a full bathroom with shower upstairs, and then living area with kitchen and another full bathroom with shower downstairs. There is a washing machine located in a closet outside in the patio but we did not use it. There was quite a bit of construction going on in Porto during our visit, but we always travel with white noise machines and it never bothered us one bit. There is an air conditioner in each room which worked with no problem. We took the train in from Lisbon and we first stopped at the reception building to check in and get the keys. The staff at reception are so kind and friendly. The actual apartment is located down the street from the reception but still very close. Both buildings have very quick and easy access to the train station. All in all, it was a great value and a comfortable stay. I would definitely stay again when we return to Porto.

The reception room, conveniently located in the same building as our apartment, was staffed by friendly and helpful personnel. We were even able to check in earlier than anticipated. Situated in the heart of Porto's tourist attractions, the apartment was surprisingly quiet at night. Sao Bento train station, a short walk away, is ideal for day trips outside the city. The nearby Rue Das Flores offers a plethora of restaurants and cafes, making the location truly superb. Though compact, the apartment was impeccably clean and tidy. As we only stayed two nights, we didn't extensively use the kitchen. This property is highly recommended for first-time visitors to Porto.

The apartment was really comfortable and clean, and felt very spacious. It was well equipped with everything you'd need and the WiFi was great. It was in a brilliant location in the historical area of Porto, all the main sights were in walking distance and there were loads of restaurants and cafes all around. It was really handy for the main Sao Bento train station too. The staff were really friendly and helpful, they made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble for them.

There was noise coming from the stairwell when other guests came in late at night and stomped around. But this was not within the control of the staff, just other people not being considerate. The sliding bathroom door was really hard to move.

The location was great, very central to the river and sightseeing highlights. The furniture and styling were modern and of good quality. Aircon units in the living room and bedroom was practical to control the temperature. There’s a lift and stairs which is great if you’re travelling with anyone who’s not good with stairs. Kitchen equipment is basic but we didn’t actually cook. Soundproof windows were a must as it’s a busy street outside. Keyless entry to the building for checkin was also a plus. We were able to go to reception the next morning which made everything a little less stressful. Plenty of restaurant options nearby and a bus stop directly in front were also super convenient. There were very minor things like one of the curtains hanging slightly of the rod and a lamp shade didn’t work as the plug had been damaged by the couch. It would have been nice to have basic instant coffee/ teabags in the kitchen. But that’s knitpicking, it was a great apartment and we enjoyed our stay.

Amazing location, within a 10 minute walk to all the main sights. A nice flat, well kitted out. Kitchen has mostly everything (just missing an oven mitt) The staff were really nice, helpful and easy to communicate with. They always responded very quickly. They were able to provide a cot and a high chair for my baby. The high chair really came in handy.

The only issue was that the cot provided - the mattress was very thin and lumpy, I imagine the cot is quite old and well used. My baby wouldn't sleep in it, so I ended up having to keep her in bed with me, and my husband had to sleep on the sofa bed in the living room. If it wasn't for this, I would have given the property a 10. Also the knob for shower in the bathroom kept falling off.

The apartment is very nice and modern with comfortable beds. Despite its central location, it is not noisy at night so it makes for good sleeping. There is no en suite, two bedrooms upstairs share a bathroom and the third bedroom downstairs shares a standalone bathroom. It’s easy to walk to everywhere from the apartment, a couple of tours that we joined met just 3 minutes from the apartment.

The reception was efficient if a bit cold and indifferent. Actually, that’s the vibe we got from Lisbon, that people were not particularly friendly to foreigners, they always acted a bit annoyed and grumpy.

We enjoyed the location - which was central to everything! Most places were walkable or it was easy to get an Uber or Taxi. The apartment was nicely furnished with lots of space and many amenities. The apartment is very sunny and bright with lovely views. And there are lots of restaurants and shops nearby. There was an elevator which was great since we were on the 4th floor. The staff was very responsive and friendly and their office was right next door so it was easy to get a hold of them online or in-person if we had any questions. We had a minor issue and the staff was very quick to respond and send someone over to address it right away — which we greatly appreciated! We would highly recommend this place and would stay here again!

The location is outstanding - extremely central and on a main thoroughfare but managed to remain fairly quiet. The sound proofing was superb. Bedrooms were clean and bed comfortable. Bathrooms were spotless and the showers were hot and powerful. The upstairs shower was exceptionally large. Air con units present in every room. Kitchen was well-equipped and the fridge and table large. Getting into the property was easy and convenient and key card pick-up worked well. They were able to store our luggage after check-out which was a bonus. The apartment complex has a very small lift that can be used, but three adults or two adults with luggage is probably its maximum capacity. WiFi was provided and seemed to reach every room. We had the top floor three bedroom, two bathroom apartment (one bedroom and bathroom downstairs off the kitchen, and two bedrooms and a bathroom 'upstairs' on a 3/4 floor mezzanine-level) a couple of doors down from the key pick-up reception. We can confirm that the Booking.com pictures are 100% accurate.

Nothing major at all. In one of the bedrooms the air con didn't really work - not a massive deal, so we only got around to reporting it when we checked out, but when we did they seemed very apologetic. We are fairly sure that had we reported it earlier, they probably would have fixed it promptly. The only other slight niggles were that the kettle definitely needed replacing (it worked and was clean, but the plastic was pretty badly warped) and the bedrooms could do with having more storage (chest of drawers etc) in them.

High recommended. Honestly I don’t think I can rate RVA and the standard of accommodation highly enough. Communication with RVA was faultless. Easy and prompt responses prior to the visit. Taxi straight to their offices and very easy check in process with very friendly staff. Accommodation a couple of minutes walk from RVA’s offices in a central location. Access to the apartment on the fourth floor was easy (stairs then lift). The accommodation was spotless, spacious, light, all the kitchen appliances you would need, good sized rooms, loads of clean towels, excellent shower…I think you get the message we loved it! I would definitely recommend this company and the accommodation to anyone and would of course use again. Thank you RVA staff for a very enjoyable visit to Porto.
