The food on offer was a buffet style and changed each evening. Breakfast had many options, cold or hot and both breakfast and dinner was tasty. Location very good, literally 2 minutes from the promenade with beaches. Staff all very pleasant. Rooms cleaned daily. Double bed, as requested.

For any review to be meaningful it has to be in the context of what one has paid for the product: judging a Ford by Rolls Royce standards would be unfair. The Atismar pitches its pricing at a very keen level, but the offering actually exceeds what one would expect from this. The hotel is in good order throughout and extremely convenient in its location. Staff are kindly and highly cooperative. Food is well prepared - though not hugely imaginative - and there is a reasonable spread of dishes on offer for breakfast, lunch and dinner with very drinkable house wine and beer included for no extra charge. If one were driving here, there is also abundant parking around the area. The WiFi is excellent everywhere, including the bedrooms. Happily, there do not seem to be any noisy venues in the adjoining streets (e.g. raucous night clubs or bars), so we had a peaceful time at night. Bus access from Faro airport is easy and the Quarteira bus terminal is an easy 10 minutes walk from the hotel.

There are no fridges in rooms. The lifts are only just adequate for the volume of guests, but one gets by alright.

Like! I LOVED, Everything. Now where do I start! The staff were stupendous. The foods absolutely delicious. I went all inclusive for 4 nights with my partner and my 2 adult daughters. Hats off to Oksana, Tetyana, Ivan, Christina, the latter, who seemed to me was the restaurant manager, and extremely helpful. Last but not least, Ricardo, the bar man, with such a wonderful charismatic charm that just made you really happy. Thank you Atismar for our wonderful stay. Oh and Louis, or Lewis on front desk. Nothing was ever too much to ask. I will be returning, as this is , now, my only place to stay in the Algarve.

Basic but nice - good selection.

Good breakfast, something for everyone. Attentive staff, very clean and well stocked. Room was good size,very clean, bed comfortable. Lovely balcony area. Hotel is perfectly situated for the beach, restaurants, shops, exploring the wider area and the bus station. Plenty of free parking by the hotel.

Unable to gain access to the terrace after breakfast to enjoy after breakfast coffee (door was padlocked, not sure what time access allowed as we went out by 9 every morning)

I had a little bit of low expectations because of the general rating of this hotel, however, I was pleasantly surprised by it. It is beautiful, the entrance of the hotel is nice, the location is amazing, very close to the beach. The hotel is clean and the rooms are also clean (every day). The towels have a nice smell and the beds are comfortable. We had a little bit of ocean view on the left side of the balcony. The breakfast has a lot of variety.

We can hear a little bit of the "neighbours" (other people in the rooms) because the walls are old, however, at normal hours of sleeping it is quiet so you can sleep comfortably.

The location was great, close to beach and other bars and restaurants. All inclusive drinks were great. The staff were great and pool area was nice.

The restaurant is too small for the number of people and the layout is wrong. People queuing to get drinks in the corner where people are trying to get food, chaotic! Food was cold and chips were rock hard. Cleaners kept leaving patio doors and bathroom window open on 11th floor, we had pigeons in rooms leaving bird muck and feathers in sink and all over bedroom floor!

Good location. Small room but contained everything necessary for a comfortable stay. Can get a hairdryer at reception for 20 euros deposit, refundable upon return of the hairdryer. We had a sea view which was great. We stayed bed and breakfast. Good variety of food at breakfast. One electric socket in bedroom and one electric socket in bathroom. This hotel is good value for money. There is a good Indian Restaurant next door called "Shalimar".

Staff were unhappy at me taking a cup of tea from the dining room at breakfast, to an outside table within hotel grounds, near the swimming pool area. I don't understand why outside tables are provided if you are not allowed to bring drinks outside! I've never encountered this issue at other hotels.

Perfect location appx 800mtrs from beach and bus terminal. The staff very polite and helpful. The food is delicious and very well presented with good varieties. Full board 100%-ly worth it The rooms may have seen better days but clean Well organised and run hotel.

Tv channels are very limited . Expected double bed with balcony (based on photos) - received twin single beds cannot be put together but the view was great

I've stayed at this hotel many times so knew exactly what to expect. It's location close to the promenade and beach is excellent. Buffet breakfast is really good, plenty of choice. We had a triple room, 3 single beds, all good for our purposes. Bonus was having two balconies, one sea view, one city view. The shower has great pressure.

The hotel rooms would benefit from a little updating. But that might make it a 4 star and therefore more expensive!
