The pool and kitchen are free breakfast are all great features of this place . I don’t surf - but from what I could tell there were also many surf lesson options . I lost my phone behind the bed and the staff were very helpful in assisting me to get it . Worth mentioning again - the pool was great ! And although the location is kind of at the end of town it is very close to the big supermarket where you can get anything you need and deli / or ready made food .

The bathrooms were very dirty . The air didn’t circulate very well in the women’s dorm and the window opened to the outside where many people Were up making quite a bit of noise at night .

The pool area is great to relax by during the day, but do note they have a ‘pool party’ once a week I believe on Thursdays (I moved hostels to avoid the noise). Comfortable beds & a good coffee machine for brekky.

The breakfast is pretty light on options, the lights in the bathroom turn off about every 10 seconds if you’re standing still at the sink or something, there were ants all over the kitchen / in my dry food (pasta, oats) that was double wrapped in bags… This the only hostel this has happened at that I’ve been to.

Not very far from town center, also big supermarket is close. Friendly staff. Not bad breakfast, considering that it's a hostel and it's price: meat, cheese, fruit, vegetables, cereals, jams, coffee, tea, vegetable milks. Near the bed you will have a drawer with a lock, which is rare in hostels. Comfy bed.

WiFi in Block A wasn't very strong, but good enough. Breakfast starts at 8:45, which is a bit late, especially if you will need early check out. Shower accessible with token, for 10 minutes, for me it was right enough time, but can assume if I would need to wash long hair, I don't know if this would be enough time... :) Administration says you can take more tokens at reception. For me this moment wasn't critical, just saying.

Really nice modern hostel with a pool, okay breakfast for a hostel, privacy and you get your own storage locker and key for it. Even after checking out I could keep my luggage in the seperate luggage room. Outdoor gym. Nice staff.

It's a bit far away from the beaches, only one of them is easy to reach. 10min limit on showers once a day is eco friendly but it got a bit annoying when I just wanted to wash off sand from my legs. The toilets were sometimes really filthy, which I don't see often. Don't know if I just bad luck. No bins or mirrors in the room. The first night the phone plug wasn't working at all, probably power went out.

The lovely and helpful staff, all that you can eat breakfast, very clean room and nice surf vibe, although I was a hiker on the Fishermen's Trail. The big supermarket not far away is ideal too.

As hiker who wanted to see the sun set and go for dinner near the beach, it is a walk along a busy road to get their; pretty safe but do be careful and wear a light when possible for passing trucks ... especially after having wine with a great dinner near the beach 😀

Really nice facility. Felt new, clean, and modern. Beautiful property. Big room. Well laid out. Close to a large supermarket. The cold breakfast was delicious with normal cereal, bread, fruit, drinks, cheese, and cold cuts, but the quality was better than normal. The inhouse restaurant was closed on Sun for dinner, but the wonderful friendly check-in person gave me great recommendations on where to eat and that restaurant was my Fisherman Trail restaurant highlight.

When the gate out front is closed it is quite confusing for people to know what to do or how to check in. Maybe have a sign of what to do if it is check-in time and the gate is not open. It is a little bit of a walk to the main part of town.

Nice surf-camp-style hostel - rather modern and stylish, cool outdoor and bar areas, clean and orderly, big dorms are very spacious and the beds are capsule-style with thick curtains offering decent light and noise protection (nothing can ward off ardent snorers and sleep-talkers though, so having earplugs at the ready always pays). The personnel is super-friendly, and as already mentioned in other posts go out of the way to help, even making a lunch bag for early starters - a yummy veggie bun in my case. The location is not prime beach real estate, but a 10 min walk to the town centre is fair enough! And there are very nice restaurants around (go try Escondidinho if you're after fresh fish, seafood or grill)...

Common kitchens are common kitchens, but maybe stricter rules might keep the fridge a bit more orderly :) Bathrooms are camping-style, so a bit less privacy. Hot water comes from a solar collector, so showers are 1€/10min (first one free) and in April an early morning shower was a bit less than warm - no big deal though :)

I liked everything about it . Good Value for the price. A good breakfast.would definitely recommend this hostel to anyone.forgot to mention the swimming pool wasn't freezing cold just right for a nice dip👍👍👍 .. .

Didn't have a good choice of beer being sold at the bar🍺🤣🤣also would of liked a extra token a day for the shower

Facilities are pretty new and well kept, the breakfast being another plus point. Nice water saving system showing care for the environment! Last but not least staff has been super nice

Water in the shower could be warmer and towel should be included with the room. Last point, even though I slept in a 12 beds dorm, I think they could invest more on mattresses and blankets

This facility offers much more than just a hostel experience. You get a surf camp feeling and they do lots of socials to make connections with people. The biggest rooms I have been in . They have curtains for privacy which is really great for working. Breakfast is included and great. Unlimited coffee!! The kitchen is massive The bar and restaurant are big and very nice. You must order a Caipirinha Good socials and even karaoke one night

Some of the area of Sagres is a ways away. I thought it was a little closer but if you want to access everywhere in the region you might want to get a car rental. Fortunately, many new friends will have offers for you to jump in with them
