:A lovely 4-Star hotel in the middle of Viseu ( literally right on the Praca de Republica). The hotel staff was warm welcoming and helpful, holding our bags upon early arrival. Most of the staff spoke English and some other languages as well. The room was enormous (although for referance we did get a deluxe double). The bathroom features were modern and new and the tub was big enough for a swim (ok, just kidding but it was very big!). The bed, including the linens, was fresh clean and comfortable although on the firm side. The television had a wide variety of channels in multiple languages. Despite being right on the main square the room was very quiet and featured electric rolling window blinds. Breakfast was very good: the fruit was very fresh fruit, as were the breads, and pastries. The hot dishes were a bit limited but they were also kept fresh.

Nothing to disappoint!

Everything about the hotel was wonderful. The room was comfortable and quiet, had a really nice shower, and the breakfast was probably the best hotel breakfast I've had. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. The location is about a ten minute walk from the bus station and less than a block from a central plaza.

My wife and I liked everything about it.

This is a nice hotel in a very good location in the middle of Viseu. The room is OK. The stuff wa shekpful and recommended a nice restorant. The breakfast was OK but we miss vegetrables.

The room can be a little bigger. The hotel does not have parking therefore you have to park in the streets nearby and pay for the parking between 8am to 8pm or park in private parking nearby.

The location was awesome, centrally located and walking distance to everything you need to do/experience downtown. The hotel is definitely “boutique” and funky. having solid shutters for the windows is a brilliant idea to shutter out any unwanted street noise. Lidia C. at the front desk was an extremely good host providing assistance in locating suitable parking for our car. My wife & I have stayed in well over 200 hotel/motel/inns during the past 5 years of travel throughout Europe and this hotel rates in the top 20

Leaving

Clean, newly and tastefully refurbished good a/c and the location is excellent for a short visit to Viseu. Would recommend the deluxe rooms as they are quite a lot larger than the superior rooms, for only a small additional outlay. Free on street parking available a few moments walk from the hotel.

Bathroom whilst large lacked a bidet and the shower leaked.

Beautiful building with real character, comfortable room, welcoming host, ok breakfast. The location is great - right in the centre of the town.

The room could be made more cosy. The view was very limited and the staircase and corridors might use some signs, as it is easy to get lost, it is a bit like a labyrinth :) The breakfast could be more diverse.

Such a beautiful hotel! The staff was incredibly accommodating to our baby, the location was perfect in the city center, the Wi-Fi was fast, and breakfast was delicious. Wish we could have stayed longer! We will definitely book this hotel again for our next visit to Viseu.

Beautiful hotel was situated in the best place possible, there was plenty of parking spaces, rooms were very clean and comfortable, Double glazed and shutters on the windows blocked out all outside noise. Breakfast was a lovely well stocked buffet. Staff were very polite, friendly and helpful. The only thing we missed was tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Though not really a big problem.

Nothing to dislike

The hotel has a fantastic location in the centre of Viseu 1 minute from Praça da República. they also have a gratis breakfast on the third floor. It is newly refurbished and my room and bathroom were spotless. Also, the staff are very friendly and polite and assist the guest with whatever is needed.

For a 4 star hotel, it surprised me that they did not have 24 hour Room Service.

Great location, staff and the design of the rooms and lobby - old doors which used to be in this building. The room and shower were comfortable. The omelet was tasty.

The cleaning could be better on some fittings - they were very dusty. The orange juice during breakfast was very diluted with water.
