The historical heritage atmosphere of the locale

It was different from any other hotel. You didn;t get the feeling you could be anywhere in the world. Great position in the old souk and near the Creek

A swimming pool but that was easily sorted by the great shuttle service to sister hotel. Easy to get lost around the streets, buildings in the hotel, that isn't as criticism, just adds to the fun and the staff are helpful or you can always call a buggy to get to reception.

The structure, design, vibes of old dubai makes me feel very heritage. The service upon arrival was fast

The room I paid for looked over the creek and it was so nice to have my own balcony to enjoy my coffee in the morning. The bed was amazing and so very comfortable, the decorations were so nice too. I love the theme of the whole area and the souks are so nice to walk around

My room looked over the indian cafe/bar and every night there was a band outside with drums and loud singing. Even with the windows closed it was a lot. They usually stopped playing around 11pm but there were some days i had plans that required me to be in bed earlier than that.

Mostly everything! The aesthetics, cleanliness, surrounding area. The staff were lovely

Bed bug issues. I found them in my first room. Didn't see any in my second room but continued to get bites.

Location, room size , room decoration, very lively area, super friendly staff

We experienced 4 problems at this hotel. 1. The hotel is in a souq, kind of bazaar, therefore it will be very noisy until late at night. 2. There is constant noise from water pipes so if somebody decides to take a shower at 2 am in the morning, you wake up from the heavy noise. 3. During our five day stay, we asked at least five times for new keys as our keys were not opening the door. Staff were absolutely friendly to replace them as soon as possible.4. The gym and the pool is in a different hotel , 10 minutes walking distance. gym is very good but the pool is very small and beds are already reserved early in the morning so no chance.

Good Location near Alkhour Rooms are traditional decorated Excellent Breakfast & keeping changing every day. Restaurant staff are very friendly and helpful Special Tracy from africa & Mohamed from Egypt.

Housekeeping staff are very slow and not helpful..i called twice through operater i wanted soap and shampoo but no body came ,then I had to go down to reception to complain.. And the next day i put a tag to clean the room, but no body came to clean it.

Love the interior and exterior design, very unique and unlike any other hotels available. Room exceeded my expectations and was always super clean after room service. Would 100% visit again if I’m ever in dubai. I think this hotel in itself is a tourist attraction 😂😂 also staff were so lovely !

I would say make it an easier process for one to request a buggy to bring you to the hotel entrance as when you have a lot of different things to bring (suitcases etc) on a day other than check out day and want to use the buggy u can’t get through to them. Sometimes we were waiting for the buggy as there was no way to contact it. But this was not a problem at all just a suggestion.

The hotel is located in Bur Dubai, next to The Creek, within the Souk area. The hotel is actually 10 buildings styled like traditional Dubai houses and is integrated around the Souk. The whole area is very quaint; golf carts are provided as transportation if needed. The water taxi station is a short walk away. The metro is not too far. The staff are very professional and helpful, the breakfast buffet is good. Open until 11.00am.

There’s nothing to dislike. Ideal hotel for tourism away from the glitz and glamour. A small niggle, only UK style plugs; you need an adapter for European plugs. Ask at the reception.

It was in a nice location and the open spaces on each floor were really nice. The outdoor breakfast spaces were lovely as well.

I didn’t expect that our room was so far from the reception and the breakfast area - completely different buildings a 8-10 minute walk one way. It was lucky that the hotel that buggys that we can call to get between places. But it made it feel just a little complicated. Rooms facing the working pier or above certain shops that blared loud music meant that you might not be able to fall asleep properly. Shops start toning down between 10-11pm but the pier was noisy all night - couldn’t see what was happening. They should double glaze their windows, and you need earplugs!
