If it weren't for a staff member named Paul it would have been a bad experience.I arrived on the 19th October for one night. I called reception early on the 20th to extend and told I needed to go to reception at 12:00pm to make the booking. When I did go to reception I was informed that the Resort was fully booked and informed by two female receptionists there was no possibility of extension. I returned to my room to collect my luggage and thought to check Booking.com. Booking had rooms available. Before making the booking, I then called reception, that rooms were available on the website and whether I should book through Booking.com. The same receptionist told me there was no guarantee the rooms on Booking.com were available and it was for me to take the chance. I did successfully book a room on Booking.com for an additional night and proceeded to reception to pay for the new room. Thankfully this time Paul served me. He was apologetic about the confusion and upgraded my room for an additional two days as required. I think the issue here is that the Resort was fully booked but due to the bad weather the Resort recieved a number of cancellations. This bad experience could easily have been avoided if the first staff member explained the situation and maybe asked me to wait to confirm if there were any cancellations.

Good place, great pool and breakfast. Rooms great, big and clean

It is too big, you need to drive by golf carts, but the personal is friendly and we never waited too long. Breakfast are too far, so if you want to take breakfast and than take some small snack later on it is not possible, they do not even allow you.

The team kindly upgraded us to a small apartment which was a lovely surprise for us! The resort is massive that you have the assistance of an electric buggy to take you round! The beach is beautiful there, infinity pool also as well as the water park!

The air con was broken in our room and as we were staying one night and noticed really late at night, we didn’t ask them to fix it, so we suffered in the heat the whole night! The shower was quite poor in terms of water pressure. The bathroom had a jets for a jacuzzi but the taps for the bath didn’t work so we couldn’t utilise the bathtub!

the first room we good was horrible, it was in building 9, after 1 night we upgraded to a different room much much better. the waterpark is amazing and you get free access for every night you stay. lots of activities for kids. good breakfast and an amazing infinity pool next to the beach

the airport is very close so there is some noise, avoid building 9 - the room there are not good very old and dirty

Location is nice and close to the airport, in a quiet area away for the partying, on the beautiful Mai Khao Beach. Pools and beach are great for kids, there is also a water park attached to the hotel, it's a bit old, but kids will still enjoy it. Mr Too and Mr Tony from the F&B team are great and really trying their best to give great customer service.

Not enough staff to cope with a full hotel, especially at breakfast time. It was like a free for all scrum, kids being pushed aside to snatch pancakes as an example. Requested a certain room type two months in advance, arrived as per given timings, and was told sorry, your room given to someone else. Then had to wait 6 days to relocate for last 5 days.

Favourite things about the hotel were; 1) private pool (we booked penthouse accommodation with its own private pool) 2) fitness classes - my teenage son and I loved the Muay Thai boxing classes & instructors

Not many interesting food options within the property.

Totally amazing HOTEL! Great staff, nice rooms, all clean, amazing bar and pool - we simply had a very good time

Too many russian guests.. keep that in mind if you travel to Phuket ;)

Me and my kids really enjoyed our stay at Splash hotel. Of course Splash aqua park with many toboggans and water games was the best and kids (5, 8 &12 y old) were enjoying it every day!!! A lot of fun slides for small and big kids. We had nice family room: master bedroom with double bed & kids room with bunk bed and extra living room which was very specious with extra large terrace - that was a great choice. Beach was very nice and not busy at all, kids loved swimming pool and kids club too. There is a beach volleyball pitch and you can rent kayaks... Breakfast buffet had a lot of choices for kids and adults, we were happy with that too. Lunch and dinner options are also great: you can choose buffet style or al la carte (tasty local food and pizza too) and amazing home made ice lollies. We are already planning to come again!

Some furniture little older, but all functioned well, so actually nothing to complain. Kids rating is 5* :)

I am so glad we found this hotel for our family vacation! The hotel area is enormous, and there are free shuttles to take you to various locations (lobby, restaurant, water park, buildings, beach, villas). It has great pools, and the highlight of our stay was the Water Park, which had many slides and play areas for young kids, teenagers, and adults. SO MUCH FUN! Book a room that gives you free access to the Water Park, totally worth it! The breakfast was fantastic, with multiple options of Western and Asian food. You name it, and you'll have it! Eggs, omelets, bacon, bread, croissants, soup, french fries, coffee, milk, tea, delicious cakes, waffles, pancakes, maple syrup, fruits, noodles, etc. Mai Khao Beach is fabulous, and it's next to the airport. While standing on the sand, you can experience the planes reaching the airport runway and flying right above your head.

The room wasn't spotless.
