The hotel is really nice-very clean and it's wonderful to stay in the historic rowhouse/shophouse area. The room, while small, was also very efficient in terms of layout. Overall the location was good-close to many tourist areas. The staff were great-very friendly and professional. But...
The issue, which isn't the hotel's fault is that it's VERY noisy at night as there is music blasting from the bars on the street. That music goes until midnight. Even the ear plugs that I had didn't work to muffle the super loud music. So, if you want to stay here-just keep this in mind if you like to go to bed early..

When I first entered the room in this property, I was staggered by how small it was! The bed was tucked into the far end of the room right next to the window and floor space was minimal which was a bit of a conundrum as I had bought my bike with me for this trip. If you have ever stayed in Hong Kong, you will be able to visually imagine the size of the room here in this property. However, the more I got used to this space the more I appreciated the thought and details that have been implemented in order to make my stay comfortable. Yes the floor space is minimal but there is a dedicated place to store your shoes in a crevice by the bed which helps the situation somewhat. Also, the lighting in the room is lovely with several options and ambient lighting in order to make you feel cosy and relaxed. As well as this, the bed is very comfortable and has a huge TV if you wanted to watch. I have not yet mentioned the prime location this is in which is right in the middle of Chinatown with bustling streetside bars and restaurants outside this hotel. However, you really can't hear the din from outside as the windows have excellent soundproofing. A few other things- they have managed to fit a fold out table, a chair and an area to hang up your clothes in the room also. Finally, I was impressed with the free drinking water (and sparkling water too!) that was available in the communal area. So to sum up, I was surprised when I first entered the room but grew to love and appreciate it. If you look around on Booking.com at this price range, I have no doubt this is one of the best options in its price category. Good things can come in small packages.
The WiFi was a bit patchy which could have potentially affected my work as I had a conference call to make during my stay. However, it was adequate in the end and just about did its job.

Amazing place - the building is really kept well and it looks gorgeous at night. We had a room with a (hughe!) balcony. Bed is really comfortable, shower is good and the room we had was really spacious. It is in a lively street, but we did not really hear that inside our room. Check-in went smoothly! Nice that they have a kitchen you can use, with free mineral water. The location is amazing - close to a metro, with many restaurants in the area and close to Chinatown.
Our room was next to the entrance door to our hallway; during one of the nights people kept going in and out, which we could hear really well. Downside of an older building; plussides are more important.

I loved the style and design aesthetic - a modern, minimal chic. The staff were simply outstanding: inviting, warm, exceptionally helpful and accommodating making you feel cared for. Self service laundry service was accessible and a nice bonus for weary travellers. The lounge and kitchen are pleasant communal spaces to do work or to fix a quick meal if needed. Overall a pleasant stay, perfect location in Chinatown surrounded by countless bars and dining options. Will absolutely be back.
The minimal aesthetic extends to the guestrooms to the slight detriment to comfort and space. The room size was decidedly small, if not a little cramped but functional. The way the shower screen door doesn't close all the way is a nice asymmetric design touch but unfortunately means the water wraps out into the bathroom when having a shower. Self service drinking water, while a great sustainable move does add some inconvenience needing to retrieve water from the communal kitchen. All are minor niggles in every respect.

The hotel is housed in a very charming traditional Chinatown style shophouse building in a lively neighbourhood. There are many restaurants in very close proximity with a wide range of choice from food centres to upmarket restaurants. The reception team were very helpful and pleasant and genuinely enjoyed interaction with guests. The laundry room with a clean and large washing machine and dryer was a real plus for me as I needed to refresh all my clothes before returning to a week’s compulsory quarantine in Hong Kong.

Very warm, professional and helpful staff! Good location. Environmentally friendly. Very comfortable with many nice small details (coffee machine, refillable bottles of water of three types, nice green balcony near kitchen, etc.).
A little bit too loud in the hallway. Late at night and early morning people were behaving like at home without thinking that there are other people in the hotel. Also, I got to know that will get a room without window after the booking was done. It would be nice next time to know it in advance. When informed, I might have paid more and chosen a room with window.

I really like the infusion of communal living within a cosy hotel setting, thus creating collision zones that increases the chances of meeting other hotel guests. These collision zones are usually not busy, and so sits well with introverts too. I also liked the thoughtful finishing in the room and around the hotel, as well as that one-tap technology in the pantry for water refills. Excellent fusion of the old and the new.
The fact that it is located at Keong Saik Road means that noise is unavoidable, especially on busy weekend evenings. There also tend to be smokers puffing away near the entrance as the hotel is flanked by cafes, restaurants and bars.

KeSa was the best property in the best location. We loved our patio and made good use of it. We loved all the little extra's like the water bottles in our room and the communal kitchen with cold still and sparkling water to fill them with, not to mention the fab coffee machine. To be able to wake and get a great coffee and bubbly water to have while planning the day, while still in PJ's, is great. The staff were lovely and the hotel is immaculately clean. You have everything nearby from a little grocery, bars, hawkers centre to high class restaurants. The guest laundry was also a bonus we made use of. When back in Singapore I will not look further and highly recommend KeSa. I would recommend paying the extra for a bigger room, as we did.

A beautiful quaint building on the exterior. Staff were welcoming, friendly and efficient. Our room was spotless and altho small there was plenty of room for suitcases, hanging and other storage. Bathroom was great with large shower area. It was all very secure. The kitchenette was also spotless, and a great facility to have your own food. Tea and coffee provisions plentiful and a roomy sitting area for laptop use etc. TV had plenty of options. Great location near Maxwell MRT and also Maxwell's Food Court (Hawkers market) also a 2inute walk to Outram Park MRT for easy travel to Changi Airport. In Chinatown and close to great coffee shops. Loved this place!
Loved everything. There is nothing negative at all.
