Very nice place, with a history that is well preserved abd valued. Extraordinary mix of old pieces and modern comfort.

The offer of food should be more diverse. Also the food seemed a bit too expensive. There should not be an extra charge to go to the spa for the customets, the price per night is high enough to include the spa.

The surroundings are wonderful, the village is beautiful and neat. There are places to visit nearby, but it is necessary to drive to them, but it is worth it (Varghis Keys, Count Kalnoky's Castle, Racos (Racos volcano, basalt columns and emerald lake) The food served is good, the staff is very attentive and nice. In the courtyard of the domain are arranged state areas (benches, terrace and a very comfortable barn - a pity that on Sunday when it was raining outside it was closed, it would have been ideal to stay there).

The bathroom: - is dark, just a light bulb, without the mirror to enlarge the image therefore shaving or make-up are impossible. - there is no holder for the shower gel or shampoo. You have to hold them in your hand or put them on the floor. The shower head is heavy and is not supported by the wall bracket. The two combinations make the shower a source of frustration. I hope it will work out. The walls between the rooms are extremely thin, you can hear any discussion from the next room. There were no insect nets on the windows, so either sit with the windows closed or assume that insects can come in (I woke up at night with a spider on me - it wasn't very nice)

Very good breakfast and menu in the restaurant! Clean room and helpfull staff. Amazing position and interior garden. Wonderful original restauration design for all the buildings in there.

We reserved a room with garden view but it was no view since the windows were on the roof. The pool and spa access was with a fee allthough we were guests with booked room.

The outside is simple, clean and very cozy, perfect for a walk, with indoor and outdoor seating to your liking. There is a pond with frogs that started singing in the evening. Inside they kept pieces from the original wall painting, making you feel like part of the history. The rooms were spotless, nicely decorated and the beds were very comfortable. The Spa is exquisite, very clean and with many options for relaxing (including a pool, jacuzzi, sauna, floating room and other local options) and the massage is a must. The staff is kind and makes you feel welcomed. You must try the restaurant when visiting/staying here as it has delicious food (not many vegetarian options, but they made something on request) and good wine options. For breakfast we chose from many local products and you can ask for boiled eggs, omlette or other options from the menu. I totally recommend this place to slow down from everyday's routine.

It's just a technicality: on booking it is not mentioned that they perceive additional cost (of 50 RON, which is no big deal) for using the spa. Also, it is said only one group/appointment, but we were 3 groups merged in the same 2 hours.

The yard was huge and nicely landscaped, very cozy. The description and history story shared, the architecture well preserved, bed comfortable, and the staff very friendly!

The spa area is very nice but very small and too pricey for what it had to offer, the massage technique was a bit questionable but overall relaxing

Beautiful location, good breakfast, good restaurant, helpful staff, lovely room; clean, comfortable, authentic.

Needs a more visible or well lit sign at the entrance. Very easy to pass in the dark, and difficult to turn around.

unfortunately all the noises from the neighboring rooms can be heard but considering the age of the building it's something we have assumed; I ordered a room with a double bed and received one with two single beds

Place full of history. Quiet and green. Delicious food and very kind and professional staff. Nice spa

You could hear people talking in other rooms (the room we stayed in was in the restaurant building) - but take into account that it is a 400 year old building. There was no proper curtain in the room and sun light wake you up early in the morning.

Very nice quiet location in the country side,quality room with a lovely bed and mattress. Food was really nice and staff was spot on.

Shower had some drainage problems,with water leaking on entire bathroom floor,plus the water was brown maybe from the draught....cant blame them for this. Acces to the Spa should be included in the price.
