Very good hotel in a convenient location, it is basically downtown, just a short walking distance from all major things. We got free a upgrade to a larger room and that was very comfortable with a lot of space. The breakfast was great with quite a few options to choose from. The staff is absolutely friendly and helpful. I would definitely return.

Nothing really to complain about. I have have to mention something, I would notice that the shower cabin is very tight, it is a bit uncomfortable. And my partner complained about the coffee at the breakfast not being really good. But there are many options for a great coffee at a short walking distance.

Obviously the hotel cannot do anything about this, but it is not in an ideal location especially for those relying on public transport. It is a long way from the train station and local amenities. Unfortunately it is not on a bus or tram route and the road outside is full of speeding traffic. Cluj really needs to fight back against the motor car!

Only minor things - I'd be happy to stay here again. Room decor needed freshening up a little - felt a bit dated, carpet fairly worn etc. Everything was perfectly functional though Breakfast fairly basic I didn't trust that leaving my luggage was completely safe - somebody else could have collected my bag and walked away with it

The property is situated in a central location. The fact that it was in a walking distance to where I needed to be is one of its strong points. They also provided a parking space for my means of transportation. The staff is friendly and always helped me with a smile on their faces. I always got a response when I wrote via Booking.com's messaging system. The room was clean and warm. Finally, but not last, the breakfast was delicious.

I spent most of my time within the city, rather than at the hotel. However, during my stay, there wasn't anything to dislike. For a 3 star hotel, it exceeded my expectations and I'll surely return someday.

The location in quite central, very close to the historical city center (15 minutes walk from Unirii Square); we were accommodated in a room with the windows facing a busy boulevard, but it was quiet, great for enjoying a good night's sleep. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, we asked for extra pillows and the personnel quickly followed our request. Good value for money, spacious room and bathroom (I believe we got upgraded for the Junior suite), definitely recommend it.

This was a pleasant experience. The hotel is located near the city center, right on one of the main streets. The room I've stayed in was spacious, and had a desk and a sofa. There was also a TV set, an air conditioner and a mini refrigerator. The balcony was cozy and spacious, more like a mini-terrace and it was facing an inner courtyard so it was also quiet even if the main road was just meters away. Breakfast was included in the price paid, it was buffet style and it was very good. There were boiled eggs, fried eggs, two kinds of sausages, various cold cuts, three types of cereals, milk, coffee, tea and all of them delicious. The staff was very friendly, warm and helpful. I'd definitely want to stay here again.

The hotel upgraded me to a better room. It was a large room with a double bed and a sofa, a desk and a cozy little terrace facing the inner court. There was also a small refrigerator, an air conditioner and a small espresso machine. The room is heated via a centralized system and it was very warm and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Also, the location is great, right in the city center, close to everything.

The staff at Hotel Alexis are fantastic, they're very friendly and helpful. I really felt like they were trying to make my stay as comfortable as it could be. My room was clean and well-maintained, as was the rest of the hotel.

The hotel decor is quite old-fashioned, although that can be quite charming in its own way.

Super friendly personel who gave us lots of advice for exploring the city. We had a nice room, though the bathroom could have been a bit bigger. Breakfast was OK. On arrival, we had to first park in the street to notify the hotel lobby of our arrival, at which point they opened the entrance to the parking lot in the back.

The door to the bathroom produced an unpleasant, high pitched sound.

Located centrally with easy access to the Old Town and all the bars and restaurants. It's a short walk, about 10 minutes. These is parking available at the rear of the Hotel for those with a car. The rooms are comfortable, with sound proof windows and an excellent air conditioning system. The breakfast is good, with plenty of choice and the staff were helpful and very friendly. Easy to communicate in English, which is good as my Romanian language is non-existant! Shops nearby for your essentials. If you're stopping in Cluj then I can highly recommend this Hotel.

These is no kettle in your room. Hot water and coffee are available in reception, this was just a minor matter though.
