There are no enough words to describe this, lets say, your own private museum. Huge appartmant, very unique so charming and romantic that you will never forget it. House is at the heart of historic part of san Marino, right betwen Basilica and the main square. Pictures cant show the real spirit of this propperty so, you have to see it in person to understund. At the entrance you can find owners ''family tree'' from 1100 up to 1930. year. This is probbably one of the oldest houses in San Marino...The owner was great, she gave us all informations befer we even asked about restorants, musems and everything else that you need. Very responsive and friendli, breakfast that she prepared was very nice. So, we will come back for sure!!!

The apartment is amazing — it's a palace-like apartment in a historical building right in the heart of San Marino. When you enter the apartment, you feel like you've entered a museum (which isn't far from the truth, considering the rich history of the family and building). Everything was also VERY clean, the beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was good. The free food and drinks were a nice bonus. The owner also helped us with parking (it's 400 or so meters from the apartment, which wasn't a problem for me and my husband but could be for older people) and she provided us with all the instructions we could need to get to the apartment and make the most of our stay in San Marino. The location of the apartment couldn't be better; it's right in the city center, and all the attractions are within 10 mins walking distance. There are also many souvenir shops and nice restaurants within 100 meters of the building.

It's a bit inconvenient that you have to pass through two bedrooms to get to the bathroom and that there's no sink in the dining room area. Also bear in mind there are several locked doors that lead to other parts of the building and that the house makes noises when it's quiet, which could be a bit scary for some people not used to living in such an old and big place.

Absolutely delightful B&B in the heart of old San Marino! It provided the perfect ambience for our visit, with spacious antique rooms and furnishings. The hostess even brought by delicious continental breakfast offerings in the morning!

Obviously, staying in any authentic old residence won’t compare to some new-construction hotel, but that’s kind of the point, right? It was exactly what we were wanting.

Fantastic location right in the centre of town with loads of space and a balcony. A bit quirky in decor and layout but we loved it great feeling of history. Excellent breakfast too.

It was all lovely, the only small disadvantage for some people is that if you use both bedrooms the people in the outer room (with sofa bed) have to walk through the main bedroom to reach the bathroom.

This is our most favourite place we have ever stayed! It’s like a museum that you pay money to visit, but you are actually sleeping there. Paola is just wonderful. She helps you out even before you arrive making sure you know where to park etc. Her story of the history of the house and her family is fascinating. The breakfast is also lovely.

Of our month adventure in Europe, Antica Bifora was our favorite stay. The location was beautiful, the palazzo itself was absolutely amazing, breakfast was delicious, and our host Paola was extremely hospitable. Our only regret is not staying more days.

Very friendly host. We arrived much later than planned, this was no problem at all. We could park our E-bikes safely. The room we booked was a complete apartment. The apartment was from the ancient times, in very good condition with a modern bathroom. Breakfast we got in one the apartment rooms. The host prepared the full breakfast before we woke up. The breakfast was with more than enough options. Tea or coffee we had (and could) make ourselves. The apartment is situated in a quit though ideal location in the middle of the city center. Lots of restaurants and pubs in the neighborhood.

Our hostess Paola was amazing! She graciously booked us dinner reservations, answered every question we had and provided a fabulous breakfast each day. It was served with elegance and charm. We felt like royalty. The pictures don’t begin to do this property justice. We will never forget this experience. Highly recommend!

Location is superb, apartment is spacious and clean. Hostess was proactive in giving directions and information about parking.

Autonomous check-in procedure with WhatsApp or other third party app, was made difficult due to my account being blocked - not the fault of hostess though.

San Marino is an anomaly in Italy - a country within a country. There’s a lot to like about its eccentricity and this B&B’s decor was in sync with it. When you come up the steep stairs to the first floor you are greeted by a wooden crocodile serving as a coffee table in a very large sitting room with covered furniture. I reckon you could set up a dance school on the parterre floor. The host - Paola - was extremely helpful and went out of her way for us. She was constantly WhatsApp-ing us on arrival for accessing the building and set up an abundant breakfast each day. Wifi worked well - and it was needed because San Mario’s mobile coverage is woeful. The bathroom was newly renovated and another huge room has been converted into the bedroom. Windows open up to views of the basilica wall on one side and the palace on the other. You are in the thick of things here but you need to leave the building to get a view.

I have been to San Gimignano, Salerno, Sorrento and Positano, but this place takes the cake for dragging your luggage up the hill to get to the front door. We are travelling with hand luggage size bags that weigh around 15 kilograms. I almost had a heart attack pulling them up from the bus stop to the front door. I don’t know how you would do this if you had a serious set of luggage to cart around. For those who arrive via train to Rimini, the bus stop for San Marino is outside the Napolean Hotel near the railway station - it took us ages to find it even though the host explained the name of the bus line we needed to take. Tickets can be bought at the Tobacconist of course.
