Lovely chalet all to ourselves, a large and comfortable double bed, room clean as a new pin. Smart new bathroom with the best shower pressure in 3 weeks in India. AC worked fine. WiFi worked well all round the grounds. Staff were all helpful. Gardens were lovely, the waterside setting gave views of boats passing from the restaurant area. The food was really good. A short menu but all dishes done well (and no “tourist spicing”). Breakfast had a limited selection - good if you like Keralan breakfasts, and toast and fruit if you don’t!

Bugs came out at dusk, driving us in from the porch - a shame! More hammocks would be good, there are loads of trees after all.

Limited choices but it was tasty and amazing. It was a buffet, which had dosa, wada, sambar, chutney, boiled banana, bread, jam, butter, tea/coffee & watermelon juice.

I didn't like the fact that they start serving the breakfast from 8.30 am, which is very late in the morning.I had a feeling that the staff serving the breakfast were forced to this task and they looked very disinterested and just wanted to get over this activity at the earliest.

The Resort had lot of greenery and grooves. It was also picturesque. The rooms we stayed overlooked the Lake. The suite had almost everything we needed. The Manager was very helpful. He helped us getting commute to near by places. He also arranged boating based on our time preferences. The breakfast was served in a restaurant overlooking the lake. The food was tasty and served hot. Overall a memorable trip.

Breakfast had limited spread, but was clean and tasty. It had a mix of Indian and continental spread. Front office staff Mr Rinosh was extremely helpful. They arranged cab/auto for local transfer. Also, has boating facility (though I did not use it).

The bathroom shower was continuously leaking. The pathway to the main reception and the rooms is left untiled. If it rains its definitely going to be messy.

The place is beautiful with backwater facing and also the big garden. They were introducing a pool. Best for some lazy leisure vacation .

A swimming pool would be a nice addition. Breakfast should have better options. The food is not buffet and a la carte is also time restrictive..

The location was fantastic... the staff was really good and flexible. When we felt their kitchen may have less food choices, the hotel was absolutely fine suggesting us good restaurants of our food choice (like vegetarian, Jain etc) and was even fine we Swiggying food ! Still they were ready to cook food for us.

1. Might have been nice if they had an intercom/phone to connect to the reception. But with the mobile always attended within 3 rings, it was not a big deal. 2. We felt one blanket was not washed properly, it had stains in one side. The rest was absolutely clean and so we didn't bother to raise the issue. 3. I had booked with dinner included package, for 2 nights for 5 members. I forgot this part, and the hotel also didn't bother to remind me.

Very good location. We see the boats. Nice garden and quiet place. Staff helpful. Good wifi.

Mattress average. No visa card machine but they provide a solution for online payment with credit card. Average breakfast

The chef was really good and the a la carte food was outstanding.The manager was very helpful and nice.

Magical place and very kind staff. Only restaurant can improve but the garden, the river and the nature compensate everything

The resort was beautiful with the view of backwaters. The bathroom are very much unique like olden times taking shower in the nature. The manager was friendly and was always available and offer you good options for house boats.Food from al-carte menu was good and tasty

Breakfast options were low and taste wasn't good as well. Lots of mosquitoes. Hot water wasn't available.
