Traditional Italian hotel with quality antique furniture, paintings on the walls, and nice touches such as bottled water in the fridge (although the fridge could have been cleaner), toiletries, and the option of yellow-dimmed bedside lighting and above the bathroom mirror. Plenty of on-site parking, a good shower, comfortable bed and good bedding. Accompanied by a friendly, bustling restaurant filled with happy locals, and serving home-cooked food at sensible prices. Breakfast was fantastic - good coffee, juice, yogurts, eggs, plenty of ham and cheese, focaccia, butter, water… I was made very welcome, felt really looked after and right at home, and wish I could have stayed longer than 1 night. I’d stay again in a heartbeat. A good option if you’re driving to or from the Genoa ferry as it’s only a 40-minute drive.

We stayed for one night and we had a wonderful time! All the staff was super friendly and some of them spoke English. The room was very spacious and comfortable, with a big private bathroom. We had dinner at the restaurant and they offered us some 🌱vegan options that were delicious: marinara pizza, veggie pizza and garlic spaghetti. Our waitress Colette was very helpful and friendly. It's conveniently located and it has a nice, quiet garden. Highly recommended!

last minute booking on my way home...the price certainly exceeded ANY expectation, 40 euro incl breakfast...that is a hell of a deal...the property was nice, quiet and a bit isolated. the room was bigger then my previous 4 star hotels (!) accomodations and breakfast were good, certainly for 40 euro a night...

actually nothing, i was quiet happy to get a hotel and a good night sleep !

The staff (everyone spoke some level of English which is quite rare in Italy), the food, the antique spirit of the hotel. We were very aware of where we were coming so there were no surprises. It may not be the case for other people.

There's no signage that there is a hotel, only a restaurant and a bar - maybe the only thing to improve

We were able to book in the middle of the night travelling with a baby. Fast check in and the room was big and in order. We even had breakfast for a room rate that was really affordable. You don’t find such a deal near Genova that easily. We had an emergency and the owner + staff have been supra helpful and friendly. Many thanks for looking after us.

Lovely and welcoming proprietor. Large room. We also had a lovely meal in the evening with a great atmosphere. I'd definitely stay here again. Excellent value for money.

It was a softer bed than we are used to. A kettle in the room would be good.

Cool place close to the highway. We stopped here halfway of our way to central Italy and we did not mind it. There are a lot of facilities: local restaurant with good food and big parking space. One tip: close the windows during the night because there are local animals which can be noisy in the early morning (like rooster). The owner and the little dog was a great plus.

I was traveling, so I could only stay one night, but I could have stayed more, the place is very nice. All the people there are friendly and helpful. I arrived late at night and I had a pizza and a glass of wine. Both of them were delicious. Late check-in is available until roughly 11pm. The place has a nice vibe to it, with a traditional restaurant, italian ambient, rooms were clean and spacious. Many thanks to everybody at the hotel! Hope to visit again sometime soon.

Just lovely old place, quite old hotel with big room and bidet , nice yard around on old local road. All in nature. great for in transit. Big parking. Nice owner.

Breakfast is very basic, 2-3 slice of cheese, butter and marmalade, nutella, and one bread rool, 2 artificial tosts. Tea/coffe- was good. At least classic slice of bread would be good.

Staff was very kind, helpful and thoughtful. It is nice to have the breakfast served instead of buffet. No a-la-carte "options" just ask what you need if not served already.

Fridge was not working but they resolved.
