I loved everything! I came here 2 months ago off season when having a bad time in a nearby town and needed a getaway. Solo female traveller. This place made me feel welcome and safe. I brought my family back this summer. Its so fantastic. A lovely pool and bar. Amazing staff who are kind and social. Very clean rooms with care and attention taken to preparation. Great facilities. Breakfast is lovely staff are wonderful! I travel the world professionalyl and this place is my bubble. The price is fantastic. This is now my home away from home.

Well my dad loved the place but moaned that there wasn't a kettle in his room but he's weird. He packs a tassimo in his suitcase. He's not quite right in the head. I adore this place. But don't book here! I want to keep it all to myself!

It was clean, nice shower room, fridge ant tv. Swimming pool is very nice, breakfast was simple but good, breakfast area was nice to sit in, just beside the pool. Everything was perfect, but room could be a bit bigger. Booked double room and for family (two adults and one child) the room was too small. Keep in mind to check the room size before booking :) Also the beds has a little frame at the end so if you are tall person the sleeping won't be perfect unless you put pillow or something on the frame :) Location is perfect, just about 5min walk from the beach and all the restaurants. Reccomended 9/10

Great little place! Lovely pool and cute apartments with great TV and shower facilities. Balconies get the evening sun. Plenty of parking which is hard to find in Matala. Superb location. The pool area is lovely and calm, nice little bar and breakfast was great! A very very short walk to the action. Matala is a very small place. Superb price and very lovely staff!

The bedding smelled of men's body odour which kept me awake a little. I'm not convinced it had been changed or if the smell is in the matress. Otherwise it was a perfect place to stay and I'd happily return.

We like it’s position away from the town centre. The pool and surround are lovely. There is a safe in the room lThe breakfast is good and varied, served by the charming Maria who also cleans and Dimitri whose family own the hotel.

The bathroom is dated but functional. The wardrobe could be quieter to open and close .

Our brief stay at Dimitris Villa Hotel was a lovely experience. The hotel's staff left a lasting impression on us! They were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are all located around the back in a quiet area with a really cute and traditional setting. As for the room itself, it was very comfortable and had a nice balcony with a great view! One of the hotel's standout features was its convenient location, just a short 10-minute stroll from Matala beach as well as the vibrant bars and restaurants that dot the area. It’s proximity made our stay even better! Overall, the hotel was perfect for our stay in Matala :)

While the breakfast may have been rated as just "okay," it did the job and provided sustenance for our day out!

Lovely little property with a nice swimming pool and bar. Breakfast was offered in the morning for an additional charge. The accommodation is traditional village room type but perfectly comfortable and clean. Dimitris, the host and owner, really makes you feel at home and makes sure that guests are comfortable and happy. I would recommend the property for short and even longer term stays in the area.

Nice place in a quite location of Matala. Couple of minutes walk to the village, where you can find all the attractions. Friendly and helpful host, ideal swimming pool area for being with small kids as there is a separate shallow pool for them and you can order some food (spaghetti and pizza was our favorites) and drinks from the bar at very good prices. Clean room, lots of space for car parking. We were only for one night, but we enjoyed it as we got everything we needed.

We could hear our neighbors, while they were moving furniture in their room upstairs. Not sure if we would have rated it 10 points if stayed for a week or longer in the same place, but for 2-3 nights it shall be a perfect place.

We like the quiet location out of the centre of Matala. The room remains cool even on the hottest days. There is a good variety of foods for breakfast. Provision of a safe is also good , without extra cost.

The shower room needs updating. The wardrobe was also very tired & noisy to close the doors.

Breakfast was served around the swimming pool area. There was a good choice of food and drinks. The pool and surrounding area was kept beautifully clean and tidy with a good choice of sun beds. The pool bar was well stocked. Our room had a good view and although a little dated was comfortable. The property is just outside of the town and is an easy walk in. Dimitris was very friendly and we enjoyed chatting to him. He made us feel very welcome.

We had a lovely stay here. The family are very welcoming and helpful, the room was comfortable and the pool area and breakfast were great. We were only here one night, but met people who return year after year and can understand why they do this.

Being English I like a kettle in the room to make tea/coffee. There wasn't one in our room when we arrived but, when I asked, Dimitri found one for us - so this is really another positive review. Thank you!
