It is a very nice place, much better than I expected at the time of booking. Little details, like overhead lighting and a window that can be opened made it a really enjoyable room! The little kitchen isle in the room was also nice, and the breakfast was also good, and there was filtered water available in the lobby.

The breakfast sausage patties felt quite low quality. There was no milk for breakfast. Above the shower head in the ceiling there were some traces of mold, but nothing too disturbing.

The King size deluxe room was very nice and spacious. It had a desk, 2 separate chairs and a long counter with a refrigerator and microwave. The hotel was clean and staff was friendly. There’s many restaurants within walking distance to the hotel. We would definitely stay there again. We were happy the hotel accepted pets as we traveled with our golden retriever. We wish they would replace the small bed pillows to normal size pillows, not sure why hotels think this is a good thing. Offering breakfast until 10 am would be nice too, we were never up and around by 9 am to enjoy it.

Offer breakfast until 10am instead of 9am. We did not enjoy the small square sleeping pillows.

My daughter and I stayed for three nights at the hotel, using it as our base for visiting Sequoia National Park. The value for money is very good. The hotel has a good location, free parking, and also a pool. There are many restaurants and shops nearby, as well as two cinemas. The hotel staff is very friendly, the rooms are clean, and the breakfast is basic. For the price we paid, we are very satisfied with the hotel and recommend it. The area where the hotel is located is very safe, and the whole town is wonderful.

Internet in the room at second floor is very weak :(

Room was exactly what we needed on our road trip. Clean & comfortable. Delicious breakfast options. Staff were friendly and helpful. Despite being next to the main highway, we couldn't hear traffic noise in our room.

Air conditioning unit hadn't been switch on prior to our arrival (we arrived late at night) so the room was very warm and stuffy. The air con unit was also very loud to have on all night. It was a shame to see so much single-use/disposable items in use. Everything at breakfast was single use - plates, cutlery, cups, sauces etc.. Overall we enjoyed our stay, these were 2 things that we felt needed attention though.

Friendly and helpful staff. They work hard to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. Comfortable beds. Housekeeping makes sure you have everything you need. Restaurants within walking distance and two right next door! Plenty of spaces with grass to walk your dog and just 3 blocks to the hospital

There are a lot of homeless in the area, actually near all the hotels in Tulare Not just La Quinta. You really have to be aware of your surroundings. Freeway is really loud when you are outside on grass area on East side..but can’t hear it from inside

Very comfortable bed. Building felt newer, clean, well laid out. Easy access off and on highway 99. McDonald's and gas stations nearby. Plentiful and clean parking. Average breakfast: eggs, sausage and gravy, waffles, Cheerios and frosted flakes, instant oatmeal, 3 juices, bagels, bread, yogurt, fruit. Nice staff. Room was small but very well laid out and useable. Small fridge but no freezer section. Microwave and coffee maker.

Breakfast served on Styrofoam plates and bowls with non-compostable utensils.

I didn’t wake up in time for breakfast, but the check in clerk was GREAT, facility WAS CLEAN, room matched the price point, and the toiletries ARE DOVE!!! Like a little mini Dove Bar or soap!! Not enough for two people however…. But. nice touch,

The amount of toiletries, and that there’s only 1 elevator for the entire building. Not all the lights worked in my room or in the bathroom & I didn’t have a blow dryer for my hair. All kinda minor things in comparison.

The bed was very comfortable with really nice Linens. The room was roomy with a couch sitting area, a desk and a king size bed. Each side of the bed had a easy to reach light switch off at night. The breakfast was delicious, I always love those waffles.

The only thing I didn't like was the dresser drawer slides open. When I first came in the room it was open. I closed it and then after a little bit it opened again. It wasn't a big hassle but this room really could fit three or four people and with three or four people the drawer hanging out would be kind of a problem because she's bump into it.

Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean. Loved the Dove products in the bathroom.

Drains in the bathroom sink and the bathtub are extremely slow to drain. You end up with ankle deep water even before you step into the shower. Booked a different room to begin with but hotel did not answer question about that room so I upgraded. Probably could have stayed in the first room.

My wife and I had initially planned to stay for two nights but ended up extending for an additional night. We arrived late at night, and the staff was incredibly polite and helpful. The attendant assisted us in adding the third night at the same rate as the others. We highly recommend this hotel for its great service and hospitality!
